Abstract

Switches with a metal case and a plastic base are used as reversing switches, transmission switches, temperature switches or the like, especially in the case of motor vehicles. Schalter mit Metallgehäuse, insbesondere Rückfahr­schalter, Getriebeschalter, Temperaturschalter oder dergleichen für Kraftfahrzeuge, mit einem Sockel aus Kunststoff, der in einem Druckgußgehäuse mit einer zylindrischen Aussparung für den Sockel und einer von dem Druckgußgehäuse endseitig hervorstehenden zylin­drischen Hülse zusätzlich befestigt ist, die eine ge­gen den Sockelumfang konisch angedrückte Umfangslippe aufweist, dadurch gekennzeich­net, daß der Sockel (2) des Schalters (1) einen nach außen hervorstehenden Halteflansch (7) aufweist, daß die Umfangslippe (6) an einer vom Sockel (2) nach außen gerichteten schrägen Fläche (10) des Sockels (2) anliegt, und daß an der den Sockel (2) umgebenden Hülse (5) mindestens zwei, vorzugsweise drei oder vier Einprägungen oder Einkerbungen (8) über den Um­fang des Halteflansches (7) verteilt angeordnet sind, die den Halteflansch (7) an der der Umfangslippe (6) zugewandten Flanschseite sichernd untergreifen.1.
