Claims (10)

  1. Box seating unit type external seat comprising a device (1) for manoeuvring a piece (2) rotary-mobile with respect to a chassis (3), said mobile piece being constituted by a first panel (2a) alternately forming the back of the seating unit in an open position and the cover of the box in a closed position, and a second panel (2b) perpendicular to the first panel and forming the seat portion in an open position and comprising a third panel (4) forming the other seat portion and joined with respect to the second panel, and a manoeuvring piece (5) mounted swivelling on the mobile piece (2b) having one active locking position in which it keeps the mobile piece (2) in an open position, a stop (8) preventing the manoeuvring piece (5) from moving towards the front from its active locking position, and means (9) for controlling the manoeuvring piece (5) enabling the latter to be distanced it from its active locking position, wherein said manoeuvring piece (5) comprises two approximately cylindrical snugs (6) cooperating with a wedge or key (7) and said stop (8) so as to limit movement of said manoeuvring piece (5) in its active blocking position, the key (7) preventing the manoeuvring piece (5) in its active locking position from moving upwards.
  2. Seat according to claim 1, wherein the means (9) for controlling the manoeuvring piece (5) simultaneously produce its lifting up and movement towards the front so as to free it from the stop.
  3. Seat according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the bolt key (7) and the stop (8) are fixed to the bottom of the chassis (4) and wherein the key is mobile and tilts when the unit is in a closed position.
  4. Seat according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the means (9) for controlling the manoeuvring piece (5) comprising an approximately flat plate generally parallel to the bottom of the chassis and joined around a spindle which traverses it parallel to the swivel pin of the manoeuvring piece.
  5. Seat according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein it comprises elements (11) constituting armrests in an open position and folded back inside the chassis in a closed position.
  6. Seat according to claim 5, wherein it comprises slides (14) ensuring support of the armrests (1) in the closed position and facilitating their deployment at the time of opening.
  7. Seat according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein it comprises feet (15) whose dimensions allow for the nesting together of several units with a small spatial requirement at the time they are stored.
  8. Seat according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein it comprises cushions integral with the back and seat portion and wherein, in the closed position, the linkage of the cover on the chassis is sealed.
  9. Seat according to claim 8, wherein at least one of the cushions (17b, 17c) integral with the seat portions (2b, 4) is able to slide over the corresponding seat portion during closing so as to avoid these cushions (17b, 17c) being crushed in the closed position.
  10. Seat according to claim 9, wherein the cushions are respectively connected to the back or the seat by movable holding devices.
