Abstract

In order to improve a plaiting blade for a fabric plaiting aggregate of a fabric plaiting machine, which has a front guide edge, in such a manner that it is capable of stretching a fabric web in its width on laying out, it is proposed that the guide edge has adhesion regions which act upon the fabric web drawn over the edge with a force component directed from a central region to the longitudinal side edges of the web. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a laying shovel for a fabric laying unit of a fabric laying machine, which has a leading leading edge.

Laying blades of this type are known from the prior art. Up to now, they have only been used to deflect a fabric web guided through the laying unit of a fabric laying machine in the direction in which it is later to be designed as a fabric layer.

With many fabrics to be laid out, however, there is always the problem that they contract when laid out in their transverse direction and thereby form folds when laid out in their transverse direction, which are subsequently undesirable in the later layer package of the laid out layers of fabric.

The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a laying shovel of the type described at the outset in such a way that it is able to stretch the web of material to be laid out in its transverse direction, that is to say in its width to avoid such undesirable wrinkling when laying out a layer of fabric.

This object is achieved according to the invention in a laying shovel of the type described at the outset in that the leading edge has the material web pulled over it with adhesive areas acting on a force component directed from a central region to its longitudinal side edges.

The advantage of the laying shovel according to the invention can be seen in the fact that the laying shovel is the last guide element of a laying unit, which acts on the fabric web before being laid out in the fabric layer and is therefore able, through the leading edge designed according to the invention, to position the fabric web in the transverse direction shortly before it is laid out , that is to say in its width, to stretch so that the fabric web shortly before it is laid out as a fabric layer and due to its adhesion to the fabric layer underneath there is no longer any possibility of contracting in its transverse direction or width. This ensures that the fabric is laid out, in which fold formation in the transverse direction is avoided.

The adhesive areas on the leading edge can be designed in a wide variety of ways. So in the simplest case it would be conceivable that the leading edge has adhesive elements which are directed from a central region obliquely to the direction of the web guide and with increasing extension in the direction of the web guide towards longitudinal side edges of the web and which could be, for example, brushes or the like. However, it is more advantageous if the adhesive areas are driven to move in the direction of the longitudinal side edges are. Such moving adhesive areas could arise, for example, from motor-driven adhesive elements that move outward along the leading edge from the central area. However, it is also conceivable for the leading edge to be in the form of a roller and, when the roller is rotated in a direction of rotation determined by the web of fabric running over it when laying out, has spiral-shaped adhesive elements screwing outwards from a central region. In this exemplary embodiment, the roller is driven, in particular, solely by the web of fabric pulled over it and, by means of the adhesive elements designed according to the invention, causes the areas of adhesion forming on the web of adhesive on the adhesive elements to move outward in the direction of the longitudinal side edges and thereby cause an in Direction of the longitudinal edges of the fabric web force occurs, which stretches the fabric web in the transverse direction.

These adhesive elements can in turn be designed in a wide variety of ways. For example, it is conceivable that the adhesive elements are bristles. However, these are not suitable for all types of fabric. For this reason, it is expedient if the adhesive elements are helically wound tapes, in particular rubber tapes.

In order to achieve the best possible adaptation of the adhesive elements that wind directly outwards from the central region, it is advantageous if the roller is divided in the middle, so that there are a total of two rollers, each of which carries an adhesive element that winds outwards from the center .

Furthermore, it can be advantageous in certain forms of laying out if the roller is additionally motorized is driven, so that a particularly strong stretching effect can be achieved, especially when the adhesion between the fabric and the adhesive elements is not very great due to the type of guidance of the fabric over the laying scoop or the type of fabric, so that a constant drive of the Roll is not guaranteed by the fabric stretched over it.

  • Fig. 1 eine Schnittansicht längs Linie 1-1 in Fig. 2 durch eine erfindungsgemäße Legeschaufel;
Further features and advantages of the solution according to the invention are the subject of the following description and the graphic representation of some exemplary embodiments: The drawings show:
  • 1 shows a sectional view along line 1-1 in FIG. 2 through a laying shovel according to the invention;
  • Fig. 2 is a partial plan view of a laying shovel according to the invention and
  • Fig. 3 shows a section through a further variant of a role according to the invention.

An embodiment of a laying shovel 10 according to the invention shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 shows a laying shovel wall 12 from which a laying shovel base 14 extends approximately at right angles and is arranged essentially horizontally in a working position of the laying shovel 10.

A total of two rollers 18 and 20 are arranged in front of a front edge 16 of the laying blade base 14 facing away from the laying blade 12, which, starting from a bearing part 22 held centrally on the laying blade base 14, extend in opposite directions to an outside 24 of the laying blade base and there into a second Bearing part 26 are rotatably mounted. The two rollers 18 and 20 are thus arranged coaxially and in alignment with one another in front of the front edge 16 of the laying bucket base 14.

For storage, the two rollers 18 and 20 are provided on both sides with journals 28 which engage in spherical or spherical bearings 30, which in turn are accommodated in the bearing parts 22 and 26, so that both rollers 18 and 20 are freely rotatable about an axis 32 are.

Advantageously, the bearing parts 22 and 26 are dimensioned such that, as shown in FIG. 1, they approximately correspond to a thickness of the laying scoop base 14 and a diameter of the rollers 18 and 20 and thus do not or only insignificantly over a lateral surface 34 or 36 of the rollers 18 or 20 survive.

On the lateral surfaces 34 and 36 of the rollers 18 and 20 spirally arranged adhesive elements 38 and 40 are provided, the spiral being wound so that it rotates when the rollers 18 and 20 are driven by a fabric web pulled over these rollers 42, wind outwards in the direction of the outer sides 24 of the laying scoop base 14 and thus stretch the fabric web pulled over it in the direction of its width.

In one exemplary embodiment, the adhesive elements 38 and 40 are designed as a tape made of material-adhering material, for example rubber material, wound and glued onto the jacket surfaces 34 and 36, respectively.

However, in another exemplary embodiment, shown in FIG. 3, it is also possible to design the adhesive elements 38 and 40 as brushes 44 projecting beyond the lateral surfaces 34 and 36, which are inserted into grooves 46 machined into the lateral surfaces 34 and 36, respectively .

20 aufgetragene Schichten auszubilden.In the context of a further exemplary embodiment, it is also conceivable to design the adhesive elements as correspondingly spirally applied layers on the rollers 18 or 20.
