Description

The present invention relates to an automatic device for deconcentrating and energizing homeopathic remedies, until the granules are impregnated and dried, and from the manual introduction of a dose of mother tincture or other types of strains chosen by the preparer to be prepared automatically.

Apparatus fulfilling this function already equips specialized laboratories, but, being designed to ensure a large and continuous production, none is truly suitable for preparations made at pharmacies. However, the laboratories specializing in the manufacture of homeopathic medicines are often geographically distant from the dispensing pharmacies, which means that the imponderable deliveries to pharmacies represent a significant proportion of the cost of the medicines, despite a policy of territorial distribution of the laboratories and their branches. In addition, these services are interrupted on certain days and since homeopathy is also a therapy for acute ailments, a certain number of pharmacists undertake the manufacture of certain preparations, rather than keeping a complete stock which would not "turn" sufficiently. Faced with this need for the pharmacy preparation of certain homeopathic remedies, certain pharmacists do not hesitate to equip themselves with current equipment specific to laboratories, such as laminar flow hoods, constant volume pipettes and dispensers for same kind, in order to prepare manually and on demand, certain dilutions from the sole stock of homeopathic strains.

The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks. It was specially designed to respond to this problem by making available to the preparer pharmacist and for a lower investment, all that is necessary for his exercise under the technical conditions comparable to those of specialized laboratories, these technical conditions aiming at quality products, and in particular to avoid contamination during deconcentration and revitalization cycles, until the finished remedy is transferred to commercial forms.

To this end, the device for deconcentrating and energizing homeopathic remedies according to the invention essentially comprises, in principle, at least one vial of preparations held by a means which is fixed to a substantially horizontal axis and free in rotation, the vial of preparations being substantially perpendicular to the axis and means being provided for driving in rotation about this axis and angularly indexing the preparation flask, so that the mouth of the flask describes a circle whose center is located on the axis, the device further comprising, on the pouring path of the flask, the mouth of a jar intended to contain impregnated granules and a receptacle for used solutions, as well as cleaning means located in the vicinity of the lowest point of the path pouring the vial, this vial having an original position for introducing the dose to be diluted or rediluted and the solvent.

In its simplest form, the device comprises a single vial of preparations, the mouth of which describes a circle and can be moved between several positions on this circle, the vial being cleaned between each dilution of the same preparation. Advantageously, the means for cleaning the flask comprise, in addition to washing means, for example with running water and then with distilled water, a drying means situated on the circular path of the mouth of the flask.

Preferably, the axis on which the preparation vial is fixed is not only free in rotation, but also free in translation, and means are provided for transmitting an axial and alternating movement to this axis, so as to produce the succussions.

The device which is the subject of the invention is installed, with its accessories, in a laminar flow enclosure, permanently decontaminated, the conveniences of which make available the products as well as the material in use with this device. In a preferred practical embodiment, all of what is necessary for the preparing pharmacist is implanted as in a column, each of the stages of which has a specialized assignment. The upper part is reserved for the air filtration system taken to the atmosphere. Just below is the storage of mother tinctures and other strains used in dilutions. At an ergonomic height, there is then, in the laminar flow enclosure, the apparatus ensuring the operations of manufacturing the remedies. The entire lower part is reserved for the storage of granule conditioners, as well as for the storage of liquids specific to the manufacturing cycle.

  • Figure 1 est une vue de face du dispositif de déconcentration et de dynamisation, qui illustre l'ensemble du cycle de fonctionnement jusqu'à l'imprégnation des granulés ;
  • Figure 2 est une vue en section transversale du bocal contenant les granulés à imprégner et montrant le mécanisme d'entraînement en rotation dudit bocal, en vue de la répartition de la dernière dilution dans les granulés ;
  • Figure 3 est une coupe effectuée dans l'axe du dispositif de déconcentration et de dynamisation, suivant un plan vertical ;
  • Figure 4 est une vue en coupe verticale de la colonne dans laquelle est implanté l'appareillage précédent ;
  • Figure 5 représente la même colonne, vue de face ;
Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will result from the detailed description which follows of a preferred form of embodiment, which is given by way of nonlimiting example, with reference to the attached schematic drawing in which:
  • Figure 1 is a front view of the deconcentration and dynamization device, which illustrates the entire operating cycle until the impregnation of the granules;
  • Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view of the jar containing the granules to be impregnated and showing the rotary drive mechanism of said jar, for the distribution of the last dilution in the granules;
  • Figure 3 is a section along the axis of the devolution and dynamization device, along a vertical plane;
  • Figure 4 is a vertical sectional view of the column in which is installed the previous apparatus;
  • Figure 5 shows the same column, front view;
  • Figures 6 and 7 are views, respectively in section and from the side, of the jar containing the granules to be impregnated and of its means for holding and driving in rotation, in the case of a variant.

The device comprises a preparation vial 1 detachably held on a support 17 fixed to one end of a horizontal axis 18, as shown in Figures 1 and 3, the axis 18 being mounted movable in rotation and in translation. This axis 18 is, in the nonlimiting example described here, consisting of a tube, this in order to reduce the inertia. At the other end of the axis 18 is provided an electromagnet 19 which provides the succussions necessary for dynamization, the core 23 of the electromagnet 19 being fixed to the axis 18, which determines during operation of the electromagnet 19, which cooperates with a spring 20, a reciprocating movement with impacts of the preparation vial 1 via the axis 18, which slides freely in plain bearings 28 and 29. For what is of the circular movement of the vial 1, we can see on the middle part of the axis 18 and fixed relative thereto, a toothed wheel with straight teeth 23, preferably made of plastic, which receives an angular movement by by means of a pinion 22 coupled to the output of a geared motor 21. This angular movement ensures the displacement of the vial 1 at the different positions P1 to P6, positions indexed by a means which includes the cooperation of photo-diodes 24 with an openwork crown 25, integral with the axis 18. Thus, when this openwork crown 25 has one or more notches in front of the photo-diodes 24 combined together, there is information on the angular positions P1 to P6, and according to these information, the gear motor 21 is controlled from an electronic card 30.

To ensure the supply of solvent to the vial 1, a known means is used which consists of an adjustable volume distributor with automatic control 31 mounted on a bottle 32 containing the solvent. To take deconcentrated and energized solution to be diluted in the new solvent for each of the deconcentrations, another known means is used with a micropipette 2 which is motorized by means of a screw-nut mechanism 33 and 34 actuated by a geared motor 35. The micropipette 2 is mounted on a carriage 36 sliding in a dovetail support 37, the carriage 36 receiving an alternately downward and upward movement from another screw-nut mechanism 38 and 39 actuated by a geared motor 40. Thus, during the downward movement, the lower end 2 ′ of the micropipette 2 reaches the level of the diluted solution at the bottom of the flask 1, which allows the required quantity to be withdrawn at the next deconcentration. And during the new presentation of the vial 1 after it has been washed and dried, the quantity of solution previously withdrawn is returned with a view to a new deconcentration. Completing this operation, the solvent jet coming from the end 31 ′ of the automatic dispenser 31 being directed towards the end 2 ′ of the micropipette 2 has the effect of restoring even the traces of dilution which can adhere to the 2 ′ end of the micropipette 2. It should also be noted that the tip 41 of the micropipette 2 is interchangeable between each of the different preparations at the same time as the flask 1 in the event of suspected pollution.

If we now refer to FIGS. 1 and 2, we can see the jar 11 containing the granules to be impregnated, which rests by its bottom and in its center on a conical protrusion 44 and, by its periphery, on rollers 12 and 15. After having removed the cover, the preparer places on the cradle thus made up of parts 44, 12 and 15 the jar 11 already containing the granules, in the impregnation position. The rollers 12 and 15 being mounted on axes 13 and 16, the axis 16 is rotated by means of a geared motor 14 and communicates to the jar 11 a rotational movement which has the effect of mixing the granules together impregnation course. Once the impregnation is carried out, a lamp 45 with infrared rays shown in FIG. 5 heats the jar 11 and its contents until evaporation of the solvent is obtained, which means that at the end of the cycle, the granules (or globules) are ready to be distributed in their packaging marketable.

The device also comprises, in the lower part of the circular path of the mouth 1 ′ of the flask 1, cleaning means with washing and drying comprising, as shown in FIG. 4, a pipe 5 for distributing pure water, a pipe 6 for distilled water distribution and a pipe 8 blowing hot air. The pipes 5, 6 and 8 pass through the bottom of a bowl 9 collecting the waste water which is recovered in a reservoir 26 visible in FIG. 4 by a pipe 10 only shown in FIG. 3.

To now describe the overall operation of the device of the invention, reference is made to FIG. 1. This figure can be seen in the vial of preparations 1 in position P1 which successively corresponds to the introduction of the dose to be diluted or to dilute, with the introduction of the solvent, and finally with the realization of the succussions. Once these operations have been carried out, the micropipette 2 descends to the level of the preparation in order to withdraw the dose to be used for the next dilution of the same deconcentration cycle. Then the micropipette 2 being raised outside the travel of the mouth 1 ′ of the vial 1, the vial 1 comes into position P2 and abandons the solution in a funnel 3 constituted by a visible dotted cavity formed in the molded casing 62. L flow of the funnel 3 leads, from a pipe not shown, to a solvent recovery canister 57 which can be seen in FIG. 4. From position P2 the vial of preparations 1 is then inclined in correspondence with position P3, putting it opposite the orifice 4 of the pipe 5 for distributing pure water, in order to ensure from this position a first washing of the preparation vial 1. This operation being completed, the flask 1 goes to position P4 located in the axis of the pipe 6 so that the final washing with distilled water of the flask 1 is carried out. After this operation, a new inclination, this time opposite the orifice 7 of the pipe 8, blows hot air into the vial 1 to ensure er drying.

These washing and drying operations having been completed, the vial 1 returns to its original position P1 so that dilution is carried out in this position as well as the dynamization of the next or the following deconcentration, until the first programmed dilution in order to impregnate the granules. When this term is reached, the vial 1 goes directly to the position P6 for discharging onto the granules contained in the jar 11. The speed of passage from position P1 to P6 is chosen so that the liquid is ejected while being distributed over the layer of granules contained in the jar 11, then, continuing its course, the vial 1 successively returns to the positions P3 to P5 corresponding to the washes as well as to the drying, and finally the position P1 for new dilutions and dynamizations, for the case where the cycle has not been completed, that is to say for the case where, in the deconcentration cycle of the same strain, several preparations corresponding to different concentrations are used.

If we still refer to Figures 4 and 5, we see that the assembly 42 which has just been described, is located in a column 43 which we will now describe the different parts. At the upper end is visible an air filtration assembly 46 cooperating with a fan motor 47 to inject purified air into an enclosure 49 by means of the openings 50 of a duct 48. Furthermore, others openings not visible in the drawings, but located along the duct 48 have the role of putting the entire interior volume of the column in slight overpressure relative to the atmospheric atmosphere outside. Below the filtration assembly is shown a storage block 51 used to store the mother tinctures as well as the various other homeopathic strains, a small fraction of which are deconcentrated during the dilution and dynamization cycles. In the preferred example, the storage compartments 51 consist of six vertical drawers cooperating with telescopic slides 52 and each comprising compartmentalized shelves 53. On the lower part of the front face, a door 54 gives access to a storage compartment consisting of shelves 55 which are used to store in particular the stock of granules and unimpregnated globules as well as the tubes for their commercial packaging. On the opposite face, another door 56 gives access to the maintenance part of the system, that is to say the canisters for recovering spent solvents 57, for collecting the used washing water 26 and pure water 25 as well as the canister distilled water 58, all of these bottles being connected to the dilution and succussion device 42 via a network not shown. Pumps 59 distribute pure water as well as distilled water to the washing means, and compressor equipment with heating 60 supplies the drying unit.

Il repose sur un galet 65 monté sur un axe 66 qui est entraîné en rotation au moyen d'un moteur 67 et d'un réducteur 68.Finally, Figures 6 and 7 are very partial views of the device of the invention, illustrating a variant of the means for holding and driving in rotation the jar 11 receiving the granules to be impregnated. The jar 11, always having its inclined axis, is disposed between two parallel vertical flanges 63 and 64. It rests on a roller 65 mounted on an axis 66 which is rotated by means of a motor 67 and a reduction gear 68.

The device of the invention is designed in particular to ensure dilutions and dynamizations automatically up to the thirtieth deconcentration corresponding to the codex currently in force, but no limit is imposed. In practice, it is always possible, on the device described, to restart a new deconcentration cycle since the last dilution carried out, so that the preparer is in no way limited if the request is made for a centesimal hahnemanniene greater than l 'current codex.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the only embodiment of this device for deconcentration and homeopathic dynamization which has been described above by way of example; on the contrary, it embraces all the variants respecting the same principle but which may differ from the example described by their constructive details or their accessories.
