Abstract

In an undercarriage for railway vehicles, the brake body (3) of a magnetic rail brake or of an eddy-current brake is held by means of a drive device (4) so as to be capable of being lowered or raised between an upper position of rest and a lower operative position and supported in both positions by stops (6 and 1e, respectively). Wie aus Fig. 4 ersichtlich, ist die Aufnahme 1f in ihrer Höhe einstellbar (Langloch für Klemmschrauben, gezahnte Kontaktflächen) mit dem Anschlag 1e verbunden. Dadurch kann der gewollte Luftspalt zwischen Bremskörper 3 und Schiene 7 auf einfache Weise bei der Erstmontage eingestellt bzw. bei Verschleiß an den Rädern 2 nachgestellt werden. Die Fixierung des abgesenkten Bremskörpers 3 in Querrichtung erfolgt über die Seitenflächen der Aufnahme 1f und des Nockens 3b.
