Bei der Abwasserreinigung, insbesondere von Industrie­anlagen , Schlachthäusern und dergleichen werden die Feststoffe über Siebe oder Siebrechen entfernt und mittels Kolben-, Spiral- oder Schneckenpressen zu einer Entwässe­rungseinrichtung geführt und nach der erreichten Ent­wässerung und Verdichtung anschließend über ein Austrage­rohr in Abfallbehälter ausgetragen.In wastewater treatment, in particular in industrial plants, slaughterhouses and the like, the solids are removed via sieves or sieve racks and guided to a dewatering device by means of piston, spiral or screw presses and then, after the dewatering and compaction has been achieved, are discharged into waste containers via a discharge pipe.

Überraschenderweise ist es mit der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung möglich, das in die Pressengrundeinheit einge­brachte Sieb- bzw. Rechengut unmittelbar durch die nachge­schalteten Elemente, nämlich über ein Doppelflanschstück, ein Paßstück und über eine Schnellkupplung, die mit einem im unteren Bereich des Containers befindlichen Zwischen­stück verbunden ist, unmittelbar von unten in den Container einzubringen. Hierbei wird nicht nur ein hygienisch einge­kapselter Transport der Feststoffe bis zum Abfallcontainer erzielt, sondern es wird auch noch der sich je nach Füllungs­grad des aufnehmenden Containers aufbauende Gegendruck zusätzlich genutzt, um das noch im Pressengrundkörper befindliche Rechen- bzw. Siebgut weiter zu entwässern und zu verdichten. Anstelle der üblicherweise in Rechen­gut-Containern stattfindenden nachträglichen Schwerkraftent­wässerung wird diese in den Pressengrundkörper rückverla­gert, wobei das Preßwasser über Entwässerungsschlitze in diesem noch vor Abgabe in den Container gezielt abge­führt werden kann. Die stromabwärts liegende Hälfte der Schnellkupplung 4 ist über ein Zwischenstück 8 fest mit einem Container 10 verbunden. Der Container ist ver­schlossen und besitzt in seinem oberen Bereich einen Entlüftungsstutzen 5, der so ausgebildet ist, daß er an eine Absauganlage angeschlossen werden kann. Im unteren Bereich weist der Container noch einen Ablaufstutzen 6 auf.
