Die beschriebene Vorrichtung funktioniert wie folgt. Zu Beginn der Stapelbildung befinden sich die Platten 10 in der oberen Endlage, wobei das Trennmesser 15 in die Ruhelage zurückgezogen ist. Die in Schuppenformation herantransportierte Papierbahn 3 fällt über die Umlenkwalze 4 auf die in der Draufsicht konvexe Auflagefläche 11 und stapelt sich zwischen den Führungsebenen 8 und 9. Die Platten 10 werden nun durch ein Drehen der Spindeln 14 kontinuierlich nach unten bewegt, so dass sich zwischen den Führungen 7 und 7ʹ auf den Platten 10 ein Stapel 6 gewünschter Höhe bildet. Die untersten Bogen des Stapels hängen dabei seitlich nach unten, wogegen die im Bereich des Verschiebeweges des Trennmessers 15 befindlichen Bogen horizontal ausgerichtet sind. Hat der Stapel seine Sollhöhe erreicht, wird die Zylinderkolbeneinheit 19 mit Druckluft beaufschlagt, so dass das Trennmesser 15 nach vorne schiesst und längs einem Falz den Stapel 6 von der nachfolgenden Papierbahn abtrennt. Nach erfolgtem Trennschnitt werden die Platten 10 bis unter der Transportstrecke 16 abgesenkt und der gebildete Stapel 6 auf diese aufgesetzt und abtransportiert. Alsdann werden die Platten 10 nach oben gegen das Trennmesser 15 bewegt auf dem sich in der Zwischenzeit der Anfang des nächsten Stapels 6 bildete. Sobald die Platten 10 ihre obere Endlage erreicht haben, wird das Trennmesser 15 zurückbewegt und der darauf begonnene neue Stapel auf die Platten 10 abgelegt. Die durch die Luftaustrittdüsen 17 hindurchtretende Luft bildet unter dem sich neu bildenden Stapel ein Luftkissen, so dass sich der unterste Bogen des neuen Stapels während des Rückhubs des Trennmessers 15 nicht verschiebt. Die Platten 10 werden nun wieder kontinuierlich bis zur vollständigen Bildung des neuen Stapels abgesenkt, worauf erneut das Trennmesser 15 betätigt und der beschriebene Vorgang wiederholt wird.The described device works as follows. The air passing through the air outlet nozzles 17 forms an air cushion under the newly forming stack, so that the bottom sheet of the new stack does not shift during the return stroke of the separating knife 15. The plates 10 are now continuously lowered again until the new stack has been completely formed, whereupon the separating knife 15 is actuated again and the process described is repeated.

Ein wesentlicher Unterschied zwischen diesem und dem vorangehenden Beispiel besteht in der Ausbildung des Trennmessers 15. Diese ist sowohl während des Vorlaufs als auch des Rücklaufs von einem Motor M3 mittels einer biegsamen Welle angetrieben und zwar derart, dass sie jeweils auf dem darüber liegenden Papierbogen abrollt. Das heisst, in der Ansicht nach den Fig. 1, 4 und 6 dreht die Walze während des Vorlaufs im Uhrzeigersinn und während des Rücklaufs im Gegenuhrzeigersinn. Damit wird verhindert, dass die Walze 25 beim Vorlauf den darüber befindlichen Papierbogen staucht oder beim Rücklauf aus dem Stapel 6 herauszieht. In diesen weit klaffenden Spalt wird das Trennmesser 15 bis zum Trennschnitt quer durch den Stapelschacht 5 von der Zylinderkolbeneinheit 19 geschoben. Dabei wird die Walze 25 in der Ansicht nach Fig. 6 im Uhrzeigersinn angetrieben. Sie rollt auf dem untersten der zurück gehaltenen Papierbogen ab, welche sich anschliessend reibungsarm auf das über den Düsen 17 sich bildende Luftkissen legen. Claims (6)

  1. Device for subdividing an endless web of paper (3) with fan folding, having an essentially vertical conveying route (5) which is bounded at the bottom by a resting surface (11) and in which lateral guides (7, 7') form two vertical guide planes (8, 9) for the folds of the web of paper, having a flat separating member (15) with a blade (18) between the inlet point (4) and the resting surface (11), which separating member can be moved in a horizontal plane from a starting position, located outside the conveying route (5), transversely through said starting position into a second position beyond the conveying route (5), and having an insertion wedge which is effective in the horizontal plane and is pushed into the conveying route (5) before the separating member (15) in order to spread out a pile (6) on the side located nearest to the blade (18) when the separating member (15) is moved from its starting position into the second position, characterised in that the resting surface (11) bounding the conveying route (5) is convex in the plan view and is oriented with its apex parallel to the guide planes (8, 9), and in that the guides (7, 7') have strands which act against the resting surface (11) and rub on the folds of the web of paper.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the mutual spacing of the mutually facing strands of the guides (7, 7') is adjustable in order to vary the spacing of the guide planes (8, 9) corresponding to the width of the pile.
  3. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the curvature of the resting surface (11) is adjustable.
  4. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the blade of the separating member (15) is formed by a rotatably mounted cylinder (25).
  5. Device according to Claim 4, characterised in that the cylinder (25) is driven when the separating member (15) is moved from the starting position into the second position in such a way that its direction of rotation on the upper side is directed counter to the direction of movement of the separating member (15).
  6. Device according to Claim 5, characterised in that the cylinder (25) is driven when the separating member (15) is moved back from the second position into the starting position in such a way that its direction of rotation on the upper side is directed counter to the direction of movement of the separating member (15).
