Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a lightweight core, in particular to a support core of a ski, the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.
A lightweight construction core according to DE-OS 33 38 661 A1 is known, which consists of an impregnated paper-like material which is formed by layering corrugated foils with intervening documents, the waves at their valleys and peaks being glued to the intervening documents and the foil layers are under pressure while in use. Such a lightweight core has a relatively low dynamic load capacity, as is particularly necessary with skis. The reason for this is the high elasticity of the stiffening cell system. It is therefore necessary to use complex tension and compression belt components on skis with such a lightweight construction core and to additionally arrange special side cheeks.
Another lightweight construction core which has support shafts is known (DD-PS 235 048 A5), in which layered reinforcement zones are arranged between the adjacent support shafts, each of which contains at least one stiffening shaft made of flat materials, the wave surfaces of which are perpendicular to those of the support shafts, Where in which case at least some of the supporting shafts and / or stiffening shafts are each connected at least on one side to a flat stabilization layer made of flat material. The dynamic resilience of this lightweight core is somewhat improved by the arrangement of the layered reinforcement zones. At the same time, however, the pressure resistance is reduced.
The invention has for its object to provide a lightweight core, in particular a support core of a ski, which has a high pressure absorption capacity and at the same time ensures good dynamic characteristics with high torsional rigidity.
According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of patent claim 1.
A particularly suitable embodiment is characterized in that the cavity axes of the surface elements form an angle of 89 ° to 45 ° with the pressure-loaded surface, the cavity axes of the surface elements being inclined to one another in the opposite direction. It is possible that the cavity axes of successive surface elements, which are inclined in the opposite direction, are inclined by the same angle to the surface under pressure. However, it is also possible to tilt through an uneven angle.
An expedient embodiment consists in that at least two surface elements arranged side by side form a block form, the void axes of which form the angle inclined in the same direction with the pressure-loaded surface, one or more blocks formed from at least two surface elements arranged next to one another then also being fixedly arranged on this block, the void axes of which, with the pressure-loaded surface, each correspond to the previous block form angles inclined in the opposite direction. Individual surface elements can also be arranged between the blocks.
When used in such a ski, it corresponds to the invention to arrange the lightweight core between a pressure and tension laminate. The pressure laminate is expediently designed as an upper flange on which the binding rests and the tension laminate as a lower flange on which the outsole covering is arranged. The connection of the lightweight core with the pressure and tension laminate is relatively simple, since it is itself very dimensionally stable due to the structure according to the invention and does not have to be fixed in its shape by the application of the laminates.
An advantageous embodiment consists in that three blocks are arranged over the ski width, the cavity axes being inclined in the same direction in each of the blocks forming the lateral edge regions of the ski.
For the design of a lightweight core, which is particularly applicable in skis used for freestyle technique (skating), it is expedient to design it so that the block forming the central region of the width of the ski consists of at least half of the surface elements and at least the Half of the ski width includes, the edge regions consist of at least one surface element.
The lightweight core according to the invention enables a structure with static and dynamic characteristic values adapted to the specific application. The solution according to the invention makes it possible, in particular, to design lightweight cores which can be used for skis in such a way that they have different elasticity and torsional rigidity using the same core material and with the same weight. Impregnated materials can also be used for these cores to achieve a low weight.

With the lightweight construction cores described in the exemplary embodiments, it is possible to design skis that can be used for popular sports as well as for competitive sports.
In the field of cross-country skiing and touring, the use of light, easy-to-process and high-strength lightweight cores is becoming increasingly important. A high pressure absorption capacity, good dynamic parameters and high torsional stiffness of the used lightweight cores are particularly important. In Fig. 1 a section of a symmetrically constructed lightweight core is shown. The lightweight core is made up of individual surface elements 3, a
In Fig. 2, another embodiment of the lightweight core is shown, the
Another embodiment is shown in FIG. 3. According to the representation in this Fig. Two side by side surface elements 3 form a
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the
Especially in competitive sports, especially when using the skis for the freestyle technique (skating), it is necessary to give the right and / or the left ski specially precisely defined properties, depending on the impression force and the technique used by the runner.
With the lightweight core according to the invention, it is possible to offset this high by blocking the surface elements 3 in blocks To meet requirements. Such a special embodiment is shown in FIG. 5. Ten surface elements 3 are arranged across the width of the ski, two surface elements 3 forming the
It is of course also possible to use the lightweight core for other products, for example for composite panels in the wood industry or in construction. Use is particularly useful when torsional stiffness is also required with a high pressure absorption capacity.
