Description

The invention relates to a toe board training for scaffolding with four handles and with at least one platform, the total length and width of which corresponds to the length of the associated toe boards and with metal holding parts attached to the ends of the toe boards.

Toe boards are provided directly above the scaffolding floors at their edges to prevent people or objects from sliding sideways. They have fittings in the end area to connect them to the scaffolding and / or to each other. Eyelets are common, for example, each occupying half the height of the toe board, so that the eyelets of two adjacent toe boards can be placed on a common pin. On the other hand, fastening legs are known from practical uses, which extend in the longitudinal direction of the toe board and have open downward and / or upward slots corresponding to the thickness of the leg of the adjacent board, with which they are hung into one another and with the aid of which they are between the stems and the wedges of horizontal bolt connection heads of modular system scaffolds can be inserted. The toe boards are usually designed so that you can put several in a row. For tower scaffolds with a fixed platform size, in which the stems are designed in the manner of standard scaffolding, but have no special fastening options, no special toe board attachments are known to date. Such tower scaffolds are, however, required on a large scale and consequently also suitable toe boards.

The invention has for its object to improve the design of the toe board ends for scaffolding with a predetermined platform size in terms of manufacture and use. According to the invention, it is provided that in each corner a holding part has a vertically running groove which is open transversely to the longitudinal extent of its toe board and into which the end of the other toe board can be inserted and that in the area lying outside the groove there is a support against lateral displacement and against tipping support leg is provided during assembly.

While in previous constructions the design was based on the purpose of baying and when using simple toe boards there was a risk that they would tip over when being set up and thus two people would be required to insert the toe boards, a design that is also clear for inexperienced users has now been found , in which one toe board can be attached without the risk of tipping over, so that the user setting up the scaffold can go away and fetch the other toe board and then insert it appropriately. This is achieved in that the length is adjusted and a special holding part design is selected in each corner of the scaffolding floor, in which the ends of the two adjacent toe boards are designed differently, in which one toe board has all the elements for securing against displacement in two Contains directions and against falling over, while the other toe board is only cut off in a straight line and, if necessary, provided with a protective cap. The holding parts are easy to manufacture, easy to attach and safe to use. Their handling is obvious to the user without explanation.

It is possible to provide only different support leg designs for different scaffolding systems with the same corner connection. A simple, straight support leg, which is inserted between the wedge and the tube wall, is sufficient for those scaffolds which have a protruding wedge in the vicinity of the stem which is spaced apart from the latter. This results in a very simple corner connection and support.

In such scaffolds, which have supports connected to conductors with permanently welded-in crossbars, the design is expediently such that the groove boundary wall lies at least partially next to the stem and the support leg adjoining the groove boundary on one between the two stems of a pair of stems connected to a ladder lying position on the stem and has a tilt support leg formed in the direction of the connection between the two stems at least in the lower region. Since such scaffolds have no wedges, but are held together only by the rungs and other connecting means, the design projecting beyond the groove takes these circumstances into account in such a way that a two-point system is created on the handle, which extends the toe board in the longitudinal direction - and transverse direction secures. The further provided tilt support leg is supported on the scaffolding floor or its claw, so that the erected toe board does not fall over during assembly. When the other toe board is inserted with its end, both toe boards are simply fixed in the longitudinal and transverse directions.

The metal holding parts delimiting the groove are expediently designed as light metal extruded profile sections. You have expediently on both sides of the associated toe board holding and fastening legs, by means of which the holding part can be placed on the toe board and fastened to it, for example by gluing, internal teeth, screws and / or rivets. To ensure that the ends of the toe boards that are free of holding parts equipped with insertion grooves are not damaged when inserted, metal protective caps are appropriately provided on these ends. Further design, details, advantages and features of the invention are also dealt with in the following description of exemplary embodiments given with reference to the drawings.

The exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4 shows a tower structure 10 with four stems 11 in the corners of a rectangle, two in each case, namely 11.1 and 11.2 and 11.3 and 11.4, being connected to one another by rung-like horizontal bars 13. The scaffold floor 12 is placed on the horizontal bars 13 with claws 12.1.

The toe boards 15 to be assembled first have at their ends 15.1 and 15.2 holding parts 16.1 and 16.2 made of light metal semifinished product, which are cut from the same semifinished product as sections. They extend over the entire height 17 of the toe boards and have two fastening legs 18.1 and 18.2 lying on either side of the ends 15.1 and 15.2, the connecting web 19 of which represents the boundary wall of the groove 20. The base of the groove 20 is formed by the groove base leg 21, which adjoins the fastening leg 18.1 in a straight line. From this, the groove limiting leg 22, as best seen in FIG. 3, is angled at 90 °. It has such a length that an angled at 90 ° to the outside again, i.e. lying in the longitudinal extension of the toe board stop leg 23 on the contact line 24 of the stem 11 comes to rest so that the outer corner 25 of the groove limiting leg 22 at an approximately 90 ° to Inside of the scaffold, the contact point 26, which is rotated, comes to rest when the respective toe board 15 is inserted between two stems 11.1 and 11.3 or 11.2 and 11.4.

At the stop leg 23 in the direction of the connecting line 28 of two adjacent stems 11 of the tilt support leg 27 is connected, which is formed here, for example, over the entire height because the holding part extends over the entire toe board height as a cut extruded profile part. However, it can only be limited to its lower area in such a way that at least sufficient material remains for the support point 29, which here lies on a part of the scaffolding floor 12, preferably on the upper side 31 of the claws 12.1, in such a way that the toe board, the main weight of which Stop leg 23 is worn, can not tip inwards if it is initially used alone. As can be seen, a vertically extending groove 20 is formed at each end of the toe board 15 which is open transversely to the longitudinal extent of the toe board 15 and is continuous over the entire height. In this, the end 32 of the other toe board 30, as can be seen from the drawings, is initially pushed in from above on one side with a slight tilt. If the toe boards 30, as can be seen from FIG. 1, are inserted into their two respective grooves 20, then all toe boards are fixed to one another and to the stems. To protect the toe board ends, protective caps 33 are provided as U-shaped flat sheet metal parts which are fitted onto the ends machined to the appropriate dimensions.

The assembly can be carried out by one person without tools. The toe boards are close to the scaffolding floor and are automatically secured in all directions when they are inserted correctly and are clearly visible.

Der Gerüstboden 12 ist gleichartig eingehängt.5 to 8, the same reference numerals are used for the same and similar parts. Here, the design of the holding parts 46, which correspond to the holding parts 16, is adapted to the design of the nodes. The stems 11 have known perforated disks 44, on which cross bolts 43 with connecting heads 42 and wedges 45 are fastened in a known manner. The scaffolding floor 12 is suspended in the same way.

Sie stecken dann, wie in Fig. 8 veranschaulicht, in den Nuten 20.Outside of the groove limiting legs 48, however, support legs 47 are provided which extend in a straight line to the fastening legs 18 and groove base legs 21. These are suspended in the gap 49 between the wedge 45 and the handle 11, so that the toe board 55 to be hooked in first is secured in the longitudinal and transverse directions by the support leg 47 and the groove limiting leg 48. This can be seen well from FIG. 7. This toe board cannot fall over. Then the toe boards 30 with their protective caps 33 are inserted into the grooves 20 of opposite toe boards 55. They are supported downwards on the claws 12.1 and are thus secured in all directions. They are then, as illustrated in FIG. 8, in the grooves 20.

In summary, the invention can also be described as follows:
  • The toe board training is intended for scaffolding with four stems (11). The scaffold floors (12) are supported by claws (12.1) on horizontal bars (13). Between the stems (11), toe boards (15, 30) extend at the edges of the scaffold floors (12). Each toe board (15) has a holding part (16) in a scaffold corner, which has a groove (20) that is open transversely to its longitudinal extension, into which the end (32) of the other toe board (30) is inserted and beyond the groove limiting leg (22) a tilt support leg (27) is provided, which secures the toe board (15) against tipping during assembly. In the case of scaffolds with a gap between the wedge and the handle, the tilt support leg can also be pushed into this gap and, if necessary, be straight.
