Claims (9)

1. Lingotière de coulée continue d'acier comportant deux grandes parois latérales refroidies (1, 2) agencées l'une en face de l'autre et deux petites parois latérales (3, 4) agencées moyennant un jeu entre les grandes parois latérales (1, 2), de manière réglable, une petite paroi latérale en une seule pièce (3, 4) étant agencée de manière basculable sur une plaque d'entretoisement (5, 6) calée entre les grandes parois latérales (1, 2) et déplaçable en vue du réglage des dimensions, caractérisée en ce que la petite paroi latérale (3, 4) est articulée sur la plaque d'entretoisement (5, 6) du côté de l'admission du métal en fusion et est positionnable contre le lingot continu en dessous de l'articulation (13), par effet de ressort.
2. Lingotière de coulée continue selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce qu'un élément de ressort (17) est agencé en dessous de l'articulation (13), entre la plaque d'entretoisement (5) et la petite paroi latérale (3) et en ce que un ou deux organes de réglage (15, 16, 16a) sont reliés à la plaque d'entretoisement (5).
3. Lingotière de coulée continue selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce qu'un organe de réglage supérieur (15) est relié à la plaque d'entretoisement (6) et en ce qu'un organe de réglage inférieur (19) est mené à travers une ouverture pratiquée dans la plaque d'entretoisement (6) et agit via un élément de ressort (20) sur la petite paroi latérale (4).
4. Lingotière de coulée continue selon la revendication 2 ou 3 caractérisée en ce que l'élément de ressort est un cylindre sous pression (20).
5. Lingotière de coulée continue selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce qu'un limiteur de basculement (22, 23) est associé à la petite paroi latérale (3, 4).
6. Lingotière de coulée continue selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce qu'un dispositif de mesure de l'angle d'inclinaison (24) est associé à la petite paroi latérale (3, 4)
7. Lingotière de coulée continue selon l'une ou plusieurs des revendications 1 à 6 caractérisée en ce que la largeur des petites parois latérales (3, 4) et des plaques d'entretoisement (5, 6) est inférieure à 70 mm.
8. Lingotière de coulée continue selon l'une ou plusieurs des revendications 1 à 7 caractérisée en ce que les grandes parois latérales (1, 2) sont évasées vers le haut à la manière d'un entonnoir en vue de former une zone d'admission du métal en fusion (25).
9. Utilisation d'un lingotière de coulée continue selon les revendications 7 et 8 pour la coulée continue de bandes d'acier minces ayant une épaisseur de 20 à 70 mm, à une vitesse de coulée supérieure à 2,5 m/min.
