Description

A device for the production of gas from solid fuels
This invention relates to a device for the production of gas through air-reduction from solid fuels where the device is provided with an intake fitted for primary air, an outlet fitted for collected gas, steering devices for the regulating of required heat to intake and outlet, a fuel chamber which consists of an upper part arranged with circular cross-section and a lower conical part attached to the upper part and enclosed into two between each other conical parts where the outer part is welded at the fuel chamber, a displaceable rotary motor driven means arranged in a vertical line inside the fuel chamber and consisting of a fixed part which into its upper part is provided with a rotary motor driven compensation means for supplied fuel and two in this fixed part telescopic parts displaceable into each other, where the inner vertically adjustable part regulated by motor in its lower part is provided with holes for the supply of air to the fuel for the gasifying into the bottom to a combustion chamber whieh comprises steering means for the regulating of heat and which is situated below the conical part and between the inserted displaceable parts and the conical part which is enclosed the conical part, an outlet means, which is arranged between the device and the welded conical part, to the outlet for collected gas, conventional equipment in the form of combustion damper, an intake not showed airtight relative to the device for the supply of fuel, a feeder for the distribution of fuel supplied and inspections hatches required for the working.
It is before known different types of boilers, generators or the like having either upstream or downstream combustion for gas production where the supply of primary air occurs be means of overpressure or vacuum on an exact place into the process works. If intake of primary air occurs on several places, a complete combustion of the material arises. The device according to the invention intends to produce a supply of primary air on several places without the final combustion of the material arising, i.e. incomplete combustion and a satisfactory combustible gas can be produced for further use of any kind. The device is further below its combustion chamber provided with a means, which is vibratory, burnable and adjustable in vertical and horizontal line and intends to regulate right supply of fuel, rate of gasifying and ash-feed-out with a particular steering means. By means of the supply of oxygen in adjustable amount to the different places it can be attained more effective moment of oxidation, whereas less sensitiveness for damper material and choice of fuel quality are attained. It also occurs in some materials, as for example chips or the like, a large amount of impurities in the form of for example stones, gravels or the like, or if refuse is used, plate, scrap or the like. These materials clog existing grate means. In the invention this material is removed in order to avoid clogging. The device according to the invention is characterized by what is evident from the patent claim enclosed where consideration has been taken in the preamble of the claim to the applicant's patent application nr 8500849-8, since the invention in some parts is a further development of said application.
The device will now be more closely described with reference to the drawing enclosed where the figure shows the device in a frontal view.
The figure shows the lower part of a device, which is like the applicant's before filed patent application nr 8500849-8. The device 1 is provided with an intake 2 for primary air and an outlet 3 for collected gas for further treatment in the heat- or power production, whereas steering means not showed are arranged for the regulating of required heat to intake 2 and outlet 3. The device 1 is further provided with a fuel chamber 4 consisting of an upper part 5 arranged with circular cross-section and a lower conical part 6 attached to the upper part 5 and enclosed into two between each other conical parts 7 and 8, where the outer part 8 is welded at the fuel chamber 4, while the inner part 7 either by way of ceramic material is connected to the outer part 8 or possibly is adjustable relative to the outer part 8. At the upper part of the device 1 there is conventional equipment not showed in the form of a combustion damper, an intake airtight relative to the device for the supply of fuel, a feeder for the distribution of fuel supplied and inspection hatches required for the working. Inside the fuel chamber 4 there is arranged a means 9 which is produced rotary displaceable in vertical line and which is composed of a fixed part 10 which in its upper part is provided with a not showed rotary compensation means for the fuel supplied and two in this part 10 telescopic parts 11 and 12 displaceable into each other, where the inner part 12 is vertically adjustable and into its lower part provided with holes 13 for supply of air to the fuel for the gasifying into the bottom to a combustion chamber 14 which comprises a steering means for the regulating of heat. The combustion chamber 14 is situated below the conical part 6 and between the two inserted displaceable parts 11 and 12 and the conical part 7 which encloses the conical part 6. Between the device 1 and the welded conical part 8 there is an outlet means 15 to the outlet 3 for collected gas. The rotary movement for compensation means and the displaceable means 9 is produced by motors of conventional type. The vertically adjustable movement for the telescopically displaceable part 12 is also by motor of conventional type. The combustion chamber 14 is also provided with at least two adjustable intake means 16 for primary air. Below the combustion chamber 14 there is a half ellipsoidal-shaped means 17, which is composed of ceramic material and supports gasified material rests. The half ellipsoidal-shaped means 17 is arranged on a plate 18 or the like which is provided with a steering device not showed for right supply of fuel, rate of gasifying and ash-feed-out and which is produced vibratory and adjustable under turnable conditions in vertical- and horizontal line. Below the supporting means 17 there is an ash-feed-out means 20 which is steered by a driving means 21 in the form of a motor of conventional type and is provided with a cooling shell 19. The ashes are brought down into a sluice device nox; showed having an ash transporter for further removing. The device 1 is also provided with a fan means not showed into the intake 2 for primary air. The primary air is arranged to go on one hand along the fuel chamber for the supply into the upper part not showed of the fixed part 10 of the displaceable means 9 and then down to the holes 13 on the other into the adjustable intake means 16. The plate 18 is driven by a driving means 23 in the form of a motor of conventional type and is further provided with a guidable means 24 for ash scraping.
The device functions in about the same way which has been described in the patent application earlier given by the applicant. The principal difference is that the grate hearth has been removed and replaced with the means 17 which is composed of ceramic material and that the attached lower conical part 6 is vibratory and gives a good supply of fuel to the combustion chamber 14, especially for damp material.
The invention is of course not United to this design but can of course be varied within the scope of the invention idea.
