Abstract

Ein Bimetallschalter 1 weist einen Isolierstoffsockel 2 auf, an welchem eine an ihrem freien Ende 4 mit einem Bewegungskontakt 5 versehene Kontaktfeder 3 angeordnet ist. In ihrem Mittelbereich 6 trägt die Kontaktfeder 3 das sie betätigende Bimetallelement. Ein mit dem Bewegungskontakt 5 zusammenwirkender Festkontakt 8 ist am Isolierstoffsockel angeordnet, unter dem Mittelbereich 6 der Kontaktfeder 3 ist ein Heizwiderstand vorgesehen. Um einen derartigen Bimetallschalter so weiterzubilden, daß er bei verbesserter Wirkungsweise vereinfacht hergestellt werden kann, ist der Heizwiderstand 9 als an der der Kontaktfeder 3 zugewandten Isolierstoffsockelseite 10 flächig und mit Wärmekontakt zum Sockel angeordneter Schichtwiderstand ausgebildet, der mit dem Isolierstoffsockel 2 zusammen einen Schichtverbundkörper bildet.
