Description

The starting point of the invention is a device for holding a parabolic antenna with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1. It is known to attach two parallel, vertical cheeks to the rear of the parabolic antenna and to pivotally connect them to another pair of parallel cheeks, which are part of a holder which is provided for fastening to a stand or antenna mast for the parabolic antenna. In the known device, the cheeks of the parabolic antenna are connected to each other by a horizontal screw bolt. This bolt is provided near the top of the cheeks. In order to be able to fix the parabolic antenna of selectable inclination, two elongated holes are provided in one pair of cheeks below the swivel axis, which are designed in the shape of a circular arc and have their center of curvature on the swivel axis. Two clamping screws extend through these elongated holes in threaded holes in the other two cheeks. By tightening these clamping screws, the parabolic antenna can be fixed on the cheeks of the bracket with a pre-selectable inclination.

The known device has the disadvantage that the parabolic antenna cannot be easily mounted on the stand. The connection between the dish and their mounting is so difficult that it can be carried out on the ground, but hardly on an antenna mast or on a sloping roof. Rather, in such locations it is necessary to provide the parabolic antenna with its holder on the ground first and then to fix this holder together with the attached parabolic antenna to the stand provided for this purpose - as a rule this is a standpipe; but the latter is also extremely laborious given the size and weight of the parabolic antenna.

The invention has for its object to improve and simplify a device for holding a parabolic antenna in such a way that even at locations on a sloping roof or on an antenna mast first attach a bracket to an antenna stand and then without much effort the parabolic antenna in it Bracket can use.

This object is achieved by a device with the features specified in claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

Because the swivel axis of the parabolic antenna is no longer attached to the cheeks of the parabolic antenna by one bolt, but by two Cone is formed, which are sunk into two matching slots, which run inclined in the cheeks of the bracket, the parabolic antenna can be initially installed without regard to the adjustment of its inclination in the bracket previously attached to the stand of the antenna, which the cheeks with the includes two sloping slots. This is possible with one hand, and then the parabolic antenna hangs captively in the oblique slots of the holder. Secured in this way, the inclination of the parabolic antenna can then be adjusted and fixed using the clamping screws provided. The arrangements of clamping screw, slot and threaded hole are provided both above and below the pivot axis formed by the pin. This has the advantage that the tilting moment acting on the parabolic antenna can be absorbed just as well as in the known device described at the outset, because both the known device and the new device have clamping screws near the upper and lower edges the vertical cheeks. However, since in the novel device the pivot axis is no longer formed by a screw bolt provided on the upper edge of the cheeks, but is arranged in the middle between the upper and lower screw bolts, the new device has the same height of the cheeks and the same Arc length of the elongated holes a twice as large ver Setting angle for the inclination of the parabolic antenna than in the known device. This is another advantage of the new device.

To adjust the inclination of the parabolic antenna, there is preferably a part on the holder with a threaded hole into which an externally threaded rod is screwed, the tip of which abuts against the rear of the parabolic antenna. A trough is provided there so that the position of the tip on the back of the parabolic antenna is clearly defined. This trough lies below the swivel axis. By advancing the tip of the rod, the parabolic antenna, which tends to tip down under its own weight, is raised. Because the parabolic antenna is pivoted, the trough in which the tip of the adjusting rod rests moves on an arc, but not along a straight line, in particular not in the direction of the adjusting rod. Therefore, the part with the internal thread on the holder, in which the rod with its external thread is inserted, is expediently a nut which is attached to the holder by means of a cage so as to be non-rotatable but limited in its inclination, so that the rod has a pivoting movement the parabolic antenna can perform the following pivoting movement.

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawings.
  • Fig . 1 shows a parabolic antenna in side view,
  • Fig . 2 shows the same parabolic antenna suspended in a holder which is intended for attachment to an antenna standpipe,
  • Fig . 3 shows the section taken along the section line III-III in FIG. 2 through the holder with a view of the rear of the parabolic antenna, and
  • Fig . 4 shows a plan view of the holder with the parabolic antenna attached.

Die beiden gleichachsigen Zapfen 9 definieren die Schwenkachse des Reflektorflansches 1.The parabolic antenna comprises a reflector flange 1 and a reflector 1a and a coaxial housing 2 arranged on its front side, which contains the excitation system of the antenna. On the back of the reflector flange 1 are the signal outputs 3 and 4 of the excitation system and two mirror-image cheeks 5 and 6 of the same design and arrangement, which are arranged symmetrically with respect to the axis 7 of the reflector. A threaded hole 8 is provided in the vicinity of the upper edge and the lower edge of the two cheeks 5 and 6. In addition, each cheek carries a pin 9 projecting outwards in the middle between the threaded bores 8, exactly at the axis 7 of the reflector 1a. The two coaxial pins 9 define the pivot axis of the reflector flange 1.

The holder 10, to which the reflector flange 1 is to be fastened, comprises a base plate 11 and two cheeks 12 and 13 projecting at right angles therefrom and having the same mirror image, the spacing of which is just such that the two cheeks 5 and 6 of the reflector flange 1 can be inserted between them. The two cheeks 12 and 13 each have a slot 14 which runs obliquely from top to bottom and is open at the top, which is just wide enough for the pin 9 to slide therein. The slots 14 are rounded in a circular arc at their lower end, so that the reflector flange 1 suspended in the slots 14 with the pins 9 can be pivoted about the axis formed by the pins 9 (FIG. 2). Above and below the slot 14 in each of the two cheeks 12 and 13 there is an arcuate slot 15 and 16 respectively. These two elongated holes are designed and arranged such that their center of curvature lies on the pivot axis of the suspended reflector flange 1.

To fasten the bracket 10 to a standpipe 17, two pairs of clamps 18 are attached to the base plate 11, with which the holder 10 can be clamped to the standpipe 17 by an upper stop on the base plate 11. Once this has been done, the reflector flange 1 can be hung into the slots 14 of the holder 10 with the pin 9. To adjust the inclination a rod 19 is provided, which carries on part of its length an external thread 20, with which it is screwed into a nut 21, which is mounted in a cage 22 which is inserted into a hole in the base plate 11 of the holder 10. The tip 23 of the rod rests in a deep recess 24, which is molded onto the back of the reflector flange 1. By rotating the rod 19, the parabolic antenna can be lifted more or less strongly, the rod 19 being able to follow the pivoting movement because the nut 21 is pivotably supported in the cage 22 to a limited extent.

In the cheek 13 a further arcuate elongated hole 25 is provided above the elongated hole 16, which reveals the view of a scale line 26, which is attached to the cheek 5 behind the reflector flange and allows the reading of an angular scale 27, which runs along the edge of the elongated hole 25 is attached to the cheek 13. After setting the desired reflector inclination, this inclination is fixed by screwing the clamping screws 28 into the threaded bores 8.
