An electric apparatus including a case (10) with a front face provided with a manual control switch (15) capable of being moved between two endmost "on" and "off" positions, said switch extending overlappingly on a support element (23) which is fixed with respect to the case and having on its front face two position indications one of which is a vertical line indicating the "on" position and the other is a circle indicating the "off" position, the two indications being positioned with respect to each other so that a single one of them appears after movement of the switch from one position to the other, characterized in that said switch (15) and said support element (23) are of contrasting colors and said switch (15) is pierced with two openings (26,27) through each of which the underlying support element (23) appears and each of which stands out against the support element by contrast of said colors, one (26) of the openings being rectilinear and forming the indication of the "on" position and the other opening (27) being circular and forming the indication of the "off" position.
  2. The electric apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that said switch (15) has on its front face, in the middle thereof, a manual grip (18) on each side of which said two openings (26,27) are situated.
  3. The electric apparatus as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that said switch (15) provided with said two openings (26,27) and said manual grip (18), is formed as a single piece by molding an insulating material.
  4. The electric apparatus as claimed in one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that said support element is formed by a shaft (23) provided in the case and said switch is in the form of a button mounted for pivoting on said shaft, which has a diameter such that the opening indicating one of the "on" or "off" positions of the switch (15) stands out entirely with respect to said shaft when said pivoting switch occupies the corresponding positions.
  5. The electric apparatus as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that said case (10) and said support shaft (23) for the switch are of the same color and are formed as a single piece by molding an insulating material.
