Zur Erhöhung der Schaltleistung eines Leitungsschutzschalters werden eine Reihe von Maßnahmen getroffen, um dafür zu sorgen, daß der Lichtbogen möglichst schnell in das Lichtbogenlöschblechpaket hineinwandert. Eine dieser Maßnahmen, mit denen dieses unterstützt werden kann, besteht darin, parallel zu der Lichtbogenleitschiene eine zusätzlichen Leiter zu verlegen, in dem der Strom in die gleiche Richtung fließt, wie in der Lichtbogenleitschiene. Eine derartige Stromleiteranordnung ist aus der DE-B-21 41 525 bekanntgeworden. Bei dieser Anordnung allerdings wird eine sogenannte zusätzliche Blasschleife dadurch gebildet, daß an dieses parallel verlaufende Leiterteilstück noch weitere Leiterteilstücke anschließen, die die Lichtbogenlöschkammer schleifenartig umgeben. Dadurch wird praktisch eine Art Doppelschleife gebildet, die eine starke Verschiebungswirkung auf den Lichtbogen zeigt. Der Nachteil dieser Anordnung besteht aber darin, daß diese zusätzliche Schleife und der zusätzliche Leiter bzw. die zusätzlichen Leiterteilstücke dauernd in den Stromkreis eingeschaltet sind, wodurch eine höhere Erwärmung des Schalters verursacht wird, was sich ungünstig bei höheren Nennstromstärken auswirkt.To increase the switching capacity of a circuit breaker, a number of measures are taken to ensure that the arc migrates as quickly as possible into the arc quenching plate package. Aus diesem Grunde erscheint das Vorsehen einer eigentlichen Blasschleife, wie sie in der DE-B-28 41 004 beschrieben ist, unzweckmäßig; vielmehr kommt es lediglich darauf an, Maßnahmen zu treffen, um zumindest in dem Bereich der Lichtbogenleitschiene, in der sich das bewegliche Kontaktstück bei der Ausschaltstellung befindet, und in dem der Lichtbogenfußpunkt auf der Leitschiene seinen ersten Antrieb erhält, den parallelen Stromfluß durch das zusätzliche Leiterteilstück zu erzeugen. Wenn nun die Kontaktstelle 41 öffnet und der bewegliche Kontakt bzw. das bewegliche Kontaktstück 20 zur Lichtbogenleitschiene hin in Pfeilrichtung A hinüberschwenkt, dann springt der Lichtbogen mit seinem einen Fußpunkt zunächst im Bereich 33 auf die Lichtbogenleitschiene 16; dadurch wird folgender Strompfad erzielt: Herkommend von der Klemme 14 fließt der Strom gemäß Pfeilrichtung P₁ zunächst von oben, über den Steg 34 zu dem Leiterteilstück 31 und von hier nach unten, über den Quersteg 35, das Teilstück 36 nach oben und den oberen Quersteg 37, ebenfalls entlang der Pfeilrichtung P₁, zur Lichtbogenleitschiene 16. Man erkennt, daß der Strom, der durch das Leiterteilstück 31 fließt, parallel und in gleicher Richtung wie der Strom fließt, der durch die Lichtbogenleitschiene 16 fließt. Die Zuordnung des Leiterteilstückes 31 zu der Lichtbogenleitschiene bzw. zu dem Klemmensteg 30 ist so, daß der Abstand von dem Klemmensteg 30 bis zur Lichtbogenleitschiene ca. 5 bis 6 mm beträgt, abhängig von der Dicke der einzelnen Blechteile und von dem erforderlichen Abstand zwischen dem Klemmensteg 30, dem Leiterstück 31 und dem Bereich 33 der Lichtbogenleitschiene 16. Das Querstück 37 trägt zum Raumbedarf in Richtung der Verbindungsebene zwischen den beiden Klemmen 14 und 15 praktisch nichts bei, so daß der im Inneren eines Leitungsschutzschalters ohnehin schon sehr knappe Raum auch nicht besonders weiter und zusätzlich beengt wird, wie dies beispielsweise bei dem Schalter gemäß der DE-AS 28 41 004 der Fall ist.Due to the arrangement of the upper and lower cross pieces 37 and the section 36 laterally next to the conductor section 31 and the arc guide rail 33, considerable space is saved, which can be used for other purposes if necessary. Claims (2)

  1. Circuit-breaker having a contact arrangement (41), which forms a U-shaped blow-out loop and consists of a moving and a fixed contact member (20, 21), and an arc chamber, which has an arc splitter assembly (22) with an arc guide rail (16, 33) and parallel splitters assigned approximately at a right angle to the U-shaped blow-out loop, which arc guide rail conducts the arc struck in the case of a breaking operation to the arc splitter assembly (22), and having an additional conductor rail (31), which is arranged behind the arc guide rail (16, 33) and, at least in the region (33) of the arc guide rail (16, 33) in which the moving contact member (20) is located in the breaking position, extends parallel to said arc guide rail and is not switched into the circuit until the production of an arc and the run up thereof on to the arc guide rail (16, 33), characterised in that the arc guide rail (16, 33) and the additional conductor rail (31) are connected to one another by means of a rectangular connecting line (35, 36, 37) which adjoins essentially alongside and next to the arc guide rail and is located essentially in the region of the breaking position of the moving contact member.
  2. Circuit-breaker according to Claim 1, characterised in that the connecting line (35, 36, 37) adjoins the arc guide rail (16, 33) on the side and continues behind the latter and forms a rectangle in plan view, that is to say when projected on to the surface of the arc guide rail.
