Definitions
- the invention relates to a cable crane with a crane truck, which can be moved on a supporting cable with the aid of a tow rope, which runs at one end via a drive winch and which is designed at the other end for fastening a load, in particular one or more tree trunks, the crane truck with With the help of remotely controlled, solenoid valves, locking devices can be locked with respect to the carrying cable and with respect to the tow rope, and a ratchet device is provided which can be locked with a weight body provided on the lifting rope and with a limit switch on the crane truck, which is due to the weight body arranged on the tow rope actuatable, d. H. when pulling up the load end of the tow rope can be closed in its upper end position, and the locking devices for releasing have hydraulic cylinders which can be controlled by the solenoid valves.
- Such cable cranes have the advantage that the drive winch, which is arranged near one of the two fixed points of the suspension cable, serves both as a travel drive for the crane truck and as a lifting drive for the load, and the crane truck can therefore be designed very easily.
- no circulating ropes are necessary. Only one suspension cable needs to be tensioned between two fixed points (e.g. two tree trunks) and the crane truck can then be placed on the suspension rope and suspended from the one fixed point using the drive winch on the tow rope.
- Simple cable cranes of this type as are known, for example, from US Pat. Nos. 3,948,398 and 4,454,951, have a locking device for the crane wagon, which acts either on the towing cable or on the supporting cable, which is clamped by a brake overrun ball which is clamped at a preselected point on the supporting cable (and a similar ball of the Tow rope) is controllable.
- the disadvantage here is that the crane truck can not be stopped arbitrarily, but only at the location of the brake overrun ball of the suspension cable in order to pick up or put down load.
- a hydraulic cylinder is provided for actuating the brake acting on the suspension cable.
- This pressure medium motor receives pressure medium via a valve which is controlled by two electromagnets. The brake is applied when the electromagnet takes effect, and when the electromagnet takes effect, the brake that fixes the cable crane wagon opposite the support cable is released.
- the cable crane according to US Pat. No. 3,079,008 also has a special feature in that the lifting cable is connected to the return cable via a coupling point.
- brakes that can be applied to the return cable by pressure medium motors and a brake that can be activated by a pressure medium motor are provided on the lifting cable.
- Two switches are also provided in the cable crane wagon, which are actuated by the weight part on the lifting cable, when the weight part is held in the lock.
- the switch controls the electromagnets for the return rope brake and the hoisting rope brake.
- the switch is equipped with a delay relay, the output of which is connected to the electromagnet in order to release the brake acting on the suspension cable independently of the electronic control.
- the electromagnet When the switch is closed by the weight part, the electromagnet is actuated so that the brake is opened. This position is maintained as long as the switch is closed.
- the invention has for its object to provide a simpler cable crane, which is also profitable for the smaller forester and for the erection and operation of which the drive winch of a conventional tractor is sufficient. Nevertheless, all possible uses of the known rope crane mentioned last should be open.
- the additional switch is provided that bridges the limit switch. It is therefore possible to change the position of the crane truck when the load is still on the ground, which is particularly important when bringing wood when obstacles have to be avoided.
- FIGS. 3 to 5 show a first detail of the cable crane in an enlarged view compared to FIGS. 1 and 2, the views 3 and 4 correspond to FIGS. 1 and 2 and FIG. 5 is a section along the line VV of FIG. 3, FIGS. 6 and 7 show a second detail of the cable crane in an enlarged view, the views being those of FIG. 1 and 2 respectively,
- FIG. 8 shows an electrical circuit diagram of the remote control and
- FIG. 9 shows the circuit diagram of another embodiment.
- FIG. 1 and 2 show a crane truck 2 running on a support cable 1 (tensioned between two fixed points which are not visible) and which is pulled by a tow rope 3.
- a support cable 1 tensioned between two fixed points which are not visible
- the tow rope 5 runs over a deflection roller 6 which is mounted on a central vertical section 7 of the support frame of the crane truck 2.
- the tow rope 3 runs from the deflection roller 6, on the one hand, parallel to the supporting rope 1 to its one end (not visible on the left in FIG. 1), where it passes over a near one of the ends the fixed points of the suspension cable 1 arranged drive winch (not shown) runs.
- the tow rope 3 runs vertically from the deflection roller 6 to its other end (not shown), where it can take up the load.
- the crane truck 2 can be locked against the supporting cable 1 by means of a remotely controllable locking device (shoe brake 8), as will be explained in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 3 to 5. This lock is necessary if the crane truck 2 is to stand still, i.e. especially when picking up or setting down the load. A movement of the tow rope 3 can then either serve to deliver slack tow rope 3 from the crane truck 2 or to pull in or pull up the load located at the lower end of the tow rope 3.
- a remotely controllable locking device shoe brake 8
- the crane truck 2 can also be locked by means of a remotely controllable locking device (ratchet device 9 and stops 10, 11) relative to the tow rope 3, as will be explained in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7.
- This lock is necessary if the crane truck 2 is to be moved, which is done by rotating the fixed drive winch of the tow rope 3 mentioned in the desired direction.
- FIG. 3 to 5 show the detail with the shoe brake 8 acting on the suspension cable 1 in more detail.
- the jaws 12 of the shoe brake 8 arranged on both sides of the suspension cable 1 are attached to a saddle 13 which overlaps the suspension cable 1.
- the saddle 13 is arranged in a horizontal guide 14 of the frame section 4 of the crane carriage 2 so that it can be moved in relation to the supporting cable 1.
- the jaws 12 of the shoe brake 8 can only be actuated on one side of the support cable 1 (left in FIG. 4) by a cylinder-piston device 15.
- the jaw 12 arranged on the right in FIG. 6 is firmly connected to the saddle 13.
- Both jaws 12 are pressed against four fixed points 16 on corresponding struts 17, 18 of the frame section 4 by means of compression springs 19, which are penetrated by bolts 20 screwed into the brake shoes 12, into the non-engagement position with respect to the supporting cable 1.
- the crane carriage 2 By actuating the cylinder-piston device 15, the crane carriage 2 can be locked in relation to the supporting cable 1.
- a hydraulic connection the piston-cylinder device is indicated at 21 in FIG.
- the pawl device 9 has two pliers legs 24 which are articulated on the vertical frame section 7 of the crane truck 2 near its lower end.
- the pliers legs 24 can be actuated via scissor links 25 by a common cylinder-piston device 26, which is supported on the vertical frame section 7 at 27.
- a compression spring 28 In the interior of the cylinder of the piston-cylinder device 26 there is a compression spring 28 which pulls the tong legs 24 into the open position.
- the pliers legs 24 can engage with their lower cross strut 29 on the underside of a body 30 fastened to the tow rope 3 near the load end thereof.
- a lower position of the body 30, in which it is released by the pawl device 9 (see its open pliers legs 24, which are shown with broken lines) is shown in broken lines in FIG.
- the locking device acting on the tow rope 3 - in addition to the described latch device 9 - also has cooperating stops 10, 11 of the tow rope 3 and the crane truck 2, which limit the lifting of the load end of the tow rope 3.
- the upper side of the body 30 attached to the tow rope 3 near its load end represents the stop 10 of the tow rope 3.
- the stop 11 of the crane truck 2 is located at the lower end of its vertical frame section 7.
- FIG. 7 shows the body 30 attached to the tow rope 3 in its uppermost position when the stops 10 and 11 interact. In this position, the body 30 actuates a switching pin 31 of an electrical limit switch 32.
- the control of the locking devices of the crane truck 2 with respect to the carrying rope 1 and the tow rope 3 is explained in more detail in FIG.
- the cylinders of the cylinder-piston devices 15 and 26 can be acted upon by hydraulic fluid which is supplied by pressure accumulators, which are not shown in the drawing and are arranged on the crane truck.
- the pressure accumulators are loaded by a pump (also not shown) which rotates with one of the rollers 5.
- the supply of hydraulic fluid to the cylinders of the cylinder piston devices 15 and 26 is controlled by means of a solenoid valve M shown in FIG. 8. It is a solenoid valve with a detent and four hydraulic connections (inlet, return, two consumer connections.).
- a consumer is fed, in the present case e.g. the cylinder of the cylinder-piston device 26 for actuating the pawl device 9 ("caliper closed, brake open”).
- the other consumer is supplied, namely the cylinder of the cylinder-piston device 15 for actuating the shoe brake 8 ("brake on, caliper on”).
- the solenoid valve is controlled via a receiver E of a radio remote control system installed in the crane truck 2, which has two separate relays for actuating the two mentioned working positions of the solenoid valve M.
- the working position "brake closed, caliper open” can only be switched via the radio remote control (right-hand relay of receiver E in Fig. 8).
- the solenoid valve M can only get into the working position "caliper closed, brake open” if the relay E of the receiver E on the left in Fig. 8 and additionally the limit switch 32 close the circuit.
- the work with the cable crane according to the invention proceeds as follows: First, the suspension cable 1 is stretched between two fixed points (e.g. two tree trunks). Then the crane truck 2 is nearby a fixed point with the rollers 5 placed on the support cable 1, the tow cable 3 being wound on a drive winch (also of a tractor) which is also located there. The crane truck 2 can then run downward by unwinding the tow rope 3 from the drive winch due to its own weight on the supporting rope 1. The operator who attaches the load gives a signal to stop the crane truck at the desired work location. With the help of the radio remote control, the solenoid valve M is brought into the "brake closed, pliers open” position and the crane truck 2 is thus blocked relative to the supporting cable 1.
- the solenoid valve M With the help of the radio remote control, the solenoid valve M is brought into the "brake closed, pliers open” position and the crane truck 2 is thus blocked relative to the supporting cable 1.
- the above-mentioned operator then grips the tow rope 3 on the body 30 attached to it and has the drive winch unwind the necessary length of tow rope 3 in order to be able to attach the load to its end.
- the weight of the body 30 causes it to come down as long as it is not yet accessible by hand.
- the tow rope 3 is allowed to wind up again at the other end by the drive winch.
- the speed of the winding takes account of the obstacles that may stand in the way of the load until the crane truck 2 is reached and is greatly slowed down shortly before reaching the pawl device 9 and in particular the cooperating stops 10, 11 of the tow rope 3 or the crane truck 2.
- the solenoid valve M is also brought into the "pliers closed, brake open” position using the radio remote control.
- the tong legs 24 are closed and the brake 8 is released.
- a further winding of the tow rope 3 on the drive winch then pulls the crane truck 2 together with the load attached to it upwards.
- the solenoid valve M is brought back into the "brake closed, pliers open” position using the radio remote control.
- the pliers legs 24 cannot open because of the pressure on them until a short pull on the tow rope 3 is not exerted by means of the drive winch.
- the additional switch 33 (for example a relay) provided in the receiver E is actuated by radio command.
- a separate actuation switch for the switch 33 is provided on the control device. If this additional actuation switch is activated at the same time as the actuation switch on the control device which triggers the command “tong closed, brake on”, then the locking device 8 effective with respect to the suspension cable 1 is released and the crane truck 2 can move along the suspension cable under the action of the tow rope 3 1 move.
- a switch 34 is provided which can be controlled by the radio control device using a separate button (which may be covered by a protective flap and can only be actuated after the flap has been folded up).
- the solenoid valve M is also set to the "brake open” position when the limit switch 32 is open. The fact that the pliers are closed at the same time is not a problem since they do not attack the lifting rope. If you want to prevent the pliers from being closed, the switch 34 can also be used to stop the hydraulic circuit for actuating the pliers or actuating the pressure medium cylinder for actuating the pliers.
- the carriage of the cable crane can be moved along the suspension cable even if the lifting cable is not fully raised (the bulb on the cable crane is not accommodated in the bell of the cable crane truck and the limit switch 32 is open).
- the safety circuit which is provided by the limit switch 32, can be canceled, so that in special cases the carriage of the cable crane can also be moved if the hoisting rope is not fully wound, i.e. the bulb is not included in the bell of the cable crane truck and the limit switch is not actuated.
- the buttons provided on the control panel for radio-controlled actuation of switches 33 or 34 are preferably covered by a protective flap.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a cable crane with a crane truck, which can be moved on a supporting cable with the aid of a tow rope, which runs at one end via a drive winch and which is designed at the other end for fastening a load, in particular one or more tree trunks, the crane truck with With the help of remotely controlled, solenoid valves, locking devices can be locked with respect to the carrying cable and with respect to the tow rope, and a ratchet device is provided which can be locked with a weight body provided on the lifting rope and with a limit switch on the crane truck, which is due to the weight body arranged on the tow rope actuatable, d. H. when pulling up the load end of the tow rope can be closed in its upper end position, and the locking devices for releasing have hydraulic cylinders which can be controlled by the solenoid valves.
Such cable cranes have the advantage that the drive winch, which is arranged near one of the two fixed points of the suspension cable, serves both as a travel drive for the crane truck and as a lifting drive for the load, and the crane truck can therefore be designed very easily. In addition, no circulating ropes are necessary. Only one suspension cable needs to be tensioned between two fixed points (e.g. two tree trunks) and the crane truck can then be placed on the suspension rope and suspended from the one fixed point using the drive winch on the tow rope.
Simple cable cranes of this type, as are known, for example, from US Pat. Nos. 3,948,398 and 4,454,951, have a locking device for the crane wagon, which acts either on the towing cable or on the supporting cable, which is clamped by a brake overrun ball which is clamped at a preselected point on the supporting cable (and a similar ball of the Tow rope) is controllable. The disadvantage here is that the crane truck can not be stopped arbitrarily, but only at the location of the brake overrun ball of the suspension cable in order to pick up or put down load.
From US-
In a cable crane known from US Pat. No. 3,079,008, a hydraulic cylinder is provided for actuating the brake acting on the suspension cable. This pressure medium motor receives pressure medium via a valve which is controlled by two electromagnets. The brake is applied when the electromagnet takes effect, and when the electromagnet takes effect, the brake that fixes the cable crane wagon opposite the support cable is released.
The cable crane according to US Pat. No. 3,079,008 also has a special feature in that the lifting cable is connected to the return cable via a coupling point. In the cable crane truck, brakes that can be applied to the return cable by pressure medium motors and a brake that can be activated by a pressure medium motor are provided on the lifting cable.
Two switches are also provided in the cable crane wagon, which are actuated by the weight part on the lifting cable, when the weight part is held in the lock.
The switch controls the electromagnets for the return rope brake and the hoisting rope brake. The switch is equipped with a delay relay, the output of which is connected to the electromagnet in order to release the brake acting on the suspension cable independently of the electronic control.
When the switch is closed by the weight part, the electromagnet is actuated so that the brake is opened. This position is maintained as long as the switch is closed.
The invention has for its object to provide a simpler cable crane, which is also profitable for the smaller forester and for the erection and operation of which the drive winch of a conventional tractor is sufficient. Nevertheless, all possible uses of the known rope crane mentioned last should be open.
This object is achieved in a cable crane of the type mentioned above in that the pawl device and the locking device effective with respect to the supporting cable can be actuated together by a solenoid valve, in one working position of which the pawl device is open and the locking device is closed and in its other working position the pawl device is closed and the locking device is open, with the proviso that a limit switch which can be actuated when pulling up the load end of the tow rope is closed and that a remote-controlled switch is provided which bridges the limit switch.
In the cable crane according to the invention, an erroneous loosening of the locking device effective against the suspension cable before the load is pulled up to the crane truck is prevented by the limit switch which can be actuated by means of the body attached to the tow rope, the actuation of which only releases the opening of the locking devices effective against the suspension cable by means of the remote control.
To the rope crane still with the limit switch not activated, d. H. to be able to move when the load is not fully raised, the additional switch is provided that bridges the limit switch. It is therefore possible to change the position of the crane truck when the load is still on the ground, which is particularly important when bringing wood when obstacles have to be avoided.
Further features of the invention emerge from the subclaims and the following description of an exemplary embodiment of a cable crane according to the invention shown in the drawing. 1 and 2 show the entire crane truck of the cable crane together with the carrying and towing cable seen from the side or from the front, FIGS. 3 to 5 show a first detail of the cable crane in an enlarged view compared to FIGS. 1 and 2, the
Absetzen der Last. The

As best shown in FIG. 7, the locking device acting on the tow rope 3 - in addition to the described latch device 9 - also has cooperating
The control of the locking devices of the
The work with the cable crane according to the invention proceeds as follows:
First, the suspension cable 1 is stretched between two fixed points (e.g. two tree trunks). Then the
If the
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 9, a
With this design, the carriage of the cable crane can be moved along the suspension cable even if the lifting cable is not fully raised (the bulb on the cable crane is not accommodated in the bell of the cable crane truck and the
By means of the
