Claims (6)

  1. Electrical connector comprising a base (1) and a plug (2), composed of a base body (3) and a plug body (4), each receiving an insert of insulating material (5, 6), one of which is provided with male connecting pins (7) and the other with female connecting pins (8), complementary grooves and ribs (18, 19) over the plug body and base body so as to position them angularly during their assembly by axial displacement, a lock (10) rotatably mounted on a shoulder (9) of the plug body (4), this lock being provided with a thread (10₁) engaging, during the assembly of the connector, with a corresponding thread (3₁) of the base body (3), the plug body (4) and the lock (10) additionally comprising, for the one, a circular alignment of catches (12, 21), and, for the other, an axially movable ring (13, 23) which is provided with at least one complementary catch, called finger (14, 22), oriented towards the alignment of catches, elastic means (15, 16, 26, 27) being provided to interact with the ring (13, 23) and hold, in the non-assembly position of the connector, the finger away from the alignment of catches, this ring and these elastic means being arranged on the path of the base body (3) so that this base body pushes the finger elastically between the catches at the end of assembly of the connector.
  2. Connector according to Claim 1, characterised in that the ring (13, 23) is arranged axially between two elastic means (15, 16, 26, 27).
  3. Connector according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the alignment of catches (12) is provided on an integral inner edge (10₂) of the lock (10), while the ring (13) and the elastic means (15, 16) are arranged on the plug body (4) in such a manner that the base body (3) can push the finger (14) towards the catches at the end of assembly of the connector.
  4. Connector according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the ring (13) provided with the finger (14) is arranged between two elastic means (15, 16), another ring (17) being arranged against one of these elastic means so as to come into contact with the base body (3) during the assembly of the connector.
  5. Connector according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the axially movable ring (13, 23), and also the alignments of catches, are made from materials which are different from those constituting the plug body and the base body.
  6. Connector according to Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the alignment of catches (22) on the one hand, and the finger (21) on the other hand, are provided so as to be mutually opposite, the finger on the shoulder (9) of the plug body (4), and the alignment of catches on an axially movable ring (23) which is provided on the lock (10) between two elastic means (26, 27) in order to be situated on the path of the base body (3) during the assembly of the connector.
