Der Innendurchmesser des Rings 8 ist dabei so bemessen, daß er auf dem Halsabschnitt locker sitzt, so daß dieser in ihm drehbar ist, jedoch ist der Durchmesser des Konus 5 an der Übergangsstelle zum Halsabschnitt 7 so bemessen, daß der Ring 8 darübergeschoben werden kann aber dann hinter dem Konus einrastet, so daß er in axialer Richtung festgelegt ist. Der Außendurchmesser des Rings 8 ist so bemessen, daß er stramm in die Hülse 1 paßt, in die er zusammen mit der Spindel 4 und dem Drehknopf eingeschoben werden kann. Gemäß Fig. 2 sind im Ring 8 zwei axiale Einschnitte 10 vorgesehen, zwischen denen eine federnde Rastnase 11 gebildet wird, die einen einwärts weisenden Rastvorsprung 12 aufweist. Der Rastvorsprung 12 wirkt mit einem oder mehreren Schlitzen 13 im Halsabschnitt 7 zusammen, in die der Rastvorsprung 12 bei Betätigung des Drehknopfes 6 einfällt. Es kann ein einziger Schlitz 13 oder eine Vertiefung vorgesehen werden, so daß pro Umdrehung des Drehknopfes 6 nur einmal eine Rastung erfolgt, jedoch können auch mehrere Schlitze oder Vertiefungen 13 vorgesehen werden, so daß eine Rastung schon bei Bruchteilen einer Umdrehung erfolgt.Before the piston 3 is brought into position on the spindle 4, a ring 8 can be pushed onto the neck section 7, which ring is provided with a flange 9 at its right end in FIG. 1. Claims (5)

  1. Pencil-shaped device for the application of liquid or pasty substances, consisting of a sleeve containing the substance, of one or more outlet openings for the substance provided at the head end of the sleeve and of a rotary knob disposed at the foot end of the sleeve, by which knob a piston guided, secured against rotation, in the sleeve can be moved via a spindle towards the head end of the sleeve, there being provided between the sleeve and the rotary knob detent means which can be overrun and which become active once each revolution or fraction of a revolution, characterized in that, between the rotary knob (6) and the spindle (4) carrying the piston (3), a hollow cylindrical neck portion (7) is disposed, the diameter of which is smaller than the rotary knob (6) but larger than the diameter of the spindle (4), that a ring (8) is so disposed on the neck portion that the neck portion (7) is indeed rotable but not axially displaceable in it , that the ring (8) is connected, secured against rotation, to the sleeve (1), and that the detent means (12, 13) act between the ring (8) on the one hand and the neck portion (7) on the other hand.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that, between the spindle (4) and the neck portion (7), a cone (5) is disposed , the diameter of which increases at least up to the internal diameter of the ring (8) and suddenly decreases at the transition point to the neck portion.
  3. Device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the detent means are formed of one or more axial slits (13) or recesses in the neck portion (7) and of a resilient detent projection (11) on the ring (8).
  4. Device according to Claim 3, characterized in that the ring (8) is provided at its one end with a flange (9), and that the external diameter of the ring (8) is so dimensioned that the ring (8), snap-engaged onto the neck portion (7), can be pushed up to its flange (9) into the foot end of the sleeve (1) and is retained in the sleeve by clamping.
  5. Device according to Claim 4, characterized in that a plug (14) can be pushed into the end of the rotary knob (6), which plug closes the rotary knob (6), and the cylindrical front end (15) of which on the one hand is sufficiently long to penetrate into the hollow cylindrical neck portion (7) and on the other hand is somewhat larger in diameter than the internal diameter of the neck portion (7).
