Abstract

Zwangsgekühlter Drahtwiderstände, bei denen die Verlust­ leistungen mittels Siede- oder Flüssigkeitskühlung abge­ führt werden, werden bei Stromrichtern verwendet, bei denen die Kühlung der Halbleiterelemente mittels Dosen­ kühlung erfolgt. Die Beschaltungswiderstände werden an den Seitenflächen der Kühldosen angeordnet. Hierbei gibt es eine Leistungsbegrenzung, die von der Seitenflächen­ größe der Kühldose und der zulässigen Flächenbelastung des Widerstandsmoduls abhängig ist. Eine Widerstandsbau­ art mit Zwangskühlung, bei dem mit kleinem Temperatur­ gradient größere Leistungen abgeführt werden können, wird dadurch erreicht, daß ein Widerstand aus einem elektrisch isolierenden zylindrischen Hohlkörper (1) be­ steht, auf dessen Innenwand eine Widerstandsdrahtwick­ lung (6) angeordnet ist und ein Kühlmedium das Innere durch­ fließt. An beiden Seiten ist ein elektrischer Anschluß (13, 19) vorgesehen; auf der einen Seiten an einem Kragen (16) und auf der anderen Seite entweder an einem Kragen oder an einem Deckel (9). Der Kragen dient gleichzeitig zum Anschluß einer hydraulischen Leitung für das Kühlmedium. Bei einseiti­ gen Anschluß strömt das Kühlmedium in der Mitte nach unten und steigt an den Seiten nach oben und kühlt gleichzeitig die Drahtwindungen. Bei beidseitigem An­ schluß durchströmt das Kühlmedium in einer Richtung das Innere des Widerstandes.
