Definitions
- the present invention relates to a screwless electrical clamp with an approximately V-shaped leaf spring piece, the V-legs of which have mutually angled, overlapping end portions, each of which is provided with a first or second opening for pushing through at least one electrical conductor to be connected, wherein in the unloaded state of the leaf spring piece which have two openings in relation to each other, but can be made to coincide with each other by elastic pushing together of the V-legs, and with an electrically conductive support and contact piece to which one of the V-legs of the leaf spring piece is attached and which has an approximately parallel to the angled end portion of the attached leg extending tab with a third opening, which is congruent with the opening of the end portion of the attached V-leg, between the tab of the support and contact tstükkes and the approximately parallel end portion of the attached V-leg there is a free space in which the angled end portion of the movable other V-leg of the leaf spring piece engages with play.
- a screwless electrical terminal with the features defined above is known from DE-B-1 105 937. Since the end portions of the V-shaped leaf spring piece provided with openings, as well as the tab provided on the support and contact piece and provided with a third opening, consist of thin-walled sheets undesirable deformations of the conductor to be clamped during operation. In addition, the contact between the conductor and the contact piece is sometimes very poor.
- the object of the invention is to provide a clamp of the type mentioned, which is technically simple, takes up relatively little space and still offers a relatively large contact area between the conductor and contact piece, prevents undesirable deformations, even thin conductors, and can be produced inexpensively.
- the clamp found to solve this problem has the features defined in the characterizing part of claim 1.
- An expedient development of the clamp according to the invention is defined in the dependent patent claim.
- the screwless electrical terminal 10 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 has an essentially approximately V-shaped leaf spring piece 11 with a first and a second V-leg 11a or 11b, each of which extends in a straight line and in the V-apex through a circular arc extending apex 11c are interconnected. End parts 11d and 11e of the two V-legs facing away from the apex part 11c are angled towards each other and are arranged and designed such that they overlap. The angled end parts 11d and 11e are each provided with a first or second rectangular opening 12 or 13.
- the V-legs 11a and 11b enclose between them an angle in the range from 110 ° to 140 °, preferably from 130 °, and the two openings 12 and 13 have positions offset from one another, as clearly shown in Fig. 1 can be seen.
- the angled end parts 11d and 11e expediently each have at least in part an approximately circular arc shape around the axis of curvature 14 of the apex part 11c.
- the leaf spring piece 11 is made of electrically conductive material, for example stainless steel or spring bronze.
- One (11a) of the V-legs 11a and 11b is fastened to an electrically conductive support and contact piece 16, for example by means of welding points 15 or by means of rents (not shown).
- the latter has an angled tab 16a which runs approximately parallel to the angled end portion 11d of the V-leg 11a fastened to the support and contact piece 16.
- the tab 16a of the support and contact piece 16 has a third opening 18, which with the opening 12 of the end part 11d of the V-leg 11a fastened to the support and contact piece 16 is congruent.
- the opening 18 is formed by punching and angling a tongue 16b, which protrudes through the two openings 12 and 13 of the leaf spring piece 11 (see FIG. 1).
- This tongue 16b is located at the edge of the opening 12 which is more distant from the fixed V-leg 11a and forms a contact surface for the electrical conductor 20 to be connected, as shown in FIG. 4.
- the clamp 10 described is suitable e.g. as a connection terminal on an electrical device.
- the leaf spring piece 11 of the clamp is expediently pretensioned in such a way that in the idle state according to FIG. 1, ie when no electrical conductor is connected, the lower edge of the opening 13 of the movable V-leg 11b is pressed against the tongue 16b with a pretensioning force.
- This measure results in a sufficiently high contact pressure when connecting thin conductors and strands, the cross section of which is formed flat when pinched.
- the bias of the leaf spring piece 11 also ensures that the connected The conductor 20 alone is sufficiently secured against being pulled out of the clamp 10 by means of the lower edge of the opening 13 of the movable V-leg 11b in FIG. 4.
- a pair of terminals 10 can have a common contact piece 16.
- the terminal 10 described has the advantage of being structurally simple and less susceptible to malfunction, of taking up relatively little space and of being able to be produced inexpensively. It is particularly suitable for connecting or connecting electrical signal and control lines.

Description
The present invention relates to a screwless electrical clamp with an approximately V-shaped leaf spring piece, the V-legs of which have mutually angled, overlapping end portions, each of which is provided with a first or second opening for pushing through at least one electrical conductor to be connected, wherein in the unloaded state of the leaf spring piece which have two openings in relation to each other, but can be made to coincide with each other by elastic pushing together of the V-legs, and with an electrically conductive support and contact piece to which one of the V-legs of the leaf spring piece is attached and which has an approximately parallel to the angled end portion of the attached leg extending tab with a third opening, which is congruent with the opening of the end portion of the attached V-leg, between the tab of the support and contact tstükkes and the approximately parallel end portion of the attached V-leg there is a free space in which the angled end portion of the movable other V-leg of the leaf spring piece engages with play.
A screwless electrical terminal with the features defined above is known from DE-B-1 105 937.
The object of the invention is to provide a clamp of the type mentioned, which is technically simple, takes up relatively little space and still offers a relatively large contact area between the conductor and contact piece, prevents undesirable deformations, even thin conductors, and can be produced inexpensively.
The clamp found to solve this problem has the features defined in the characterizing part of claim 1. An expedient development of the clamp according to the invention is defined in the dependent patent claim.

- 2 shows a cross section along the line II-II in Fig. 1.
- Fig. 3 is a plan view of Fig. 1;
- Fig. 4 is a Fig. 1 analog representation of the same terminal with a connected electrical conductor.
The screwless
One (11a) of the V-
The use and mode of operation of the clamp described is as follows:
In order to connect one or more electrical conductors to the support and
In the manner described, several electrical conductors of smaller diameter can also be connected to the terminal and electrically contacted with the support and
To release the conductor 20 (or several connected conductors), one only needs to exert a force again on the
The
The
Of course, a pair of
In addition to the properties mentioned, the
