4. An ignition distributor according to Claim 2, characterised in that on the other peripheral edge of the resilient spacing gasket (14) there are formed means (14d) for preventing rotation of the base (13) of the coil carrier (12).
5. An ignition distributor according to Claim 2, characterised in that means (14d) for preventing rotation of the coil carrier base comprise projections abutting on the lateral edges of branches formed in the base (13) of the coil carrier (12).
6. An ignition distributor according to Claim 2, characterised in that, on the other peripheral edge of the resilient spacing gasket (14), there are formed means for securing the base (13) of the coil carrier (12) in a predetermined position with respect to the housing (1) of the ignition distributor, said means comprising a slot (14e) in which a corresponding portion (15a) formed on the said connecting device (15) is resiliently inserted.
7. An ignition distributor according to Claim 1, characterised in that the resilient spacing gasket (16) has alternate slots (16a) formed on both its peripheral edges and so arranged that, corresponding to the slots (16a) formed on one of the peripheral edges, there are projections (16b, 16c) on the other edge.
8. An ignition distributor according to Claim 7, characterised in that the projections (16b, 16c) have a width smaller than the widths of the slots (16a) and are disposed approximately in line with the middle of the latter.
9. An ignition distributor according to Claim 1, characterised in that the resilient spacing gasket (18) is perforated through its lateral wall with a plurality of openings (18a), formed through the wall and parallel to its peripheral edges.
10. An ignition distributor according to Claims 7 and 9, characterised in that the resilient spacing gasket (16, 18) is formed by rolling or forming one side.
11. An ignition distributor to Claim 7, characterised in that the resilient spacing gasket (16, 18) is rolled or formed to a diameter slightly greater than the internal diameter of the wall against which it is resiliently applied.
