Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, daß auf jeweils einer tragenden Folie aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff zumindest ein mäanderförmig isolierter Heizleiter verlegt und durch eine in der Regel gleiche Folie abgedeckt wird, wobei die thermische Formbeständigkeit der Heizleiterisolation die der Folien um ca. 50% überschreitet, daß anschließend durch Zufuhr von Wärme und Druck ein fest verbundenes Heizelement gebildet wird, dessen Heizleiter ohne Entstehen einer Bindung mit den Folien in den entsprechend der Verlegung ausgebildeten mäanderförmigen Kanälen einliegt, und daß die elastischen Eigenschaften des Heizelementes in Verbindung mit der Wahl eines möglichst geringen Mäanderabstandes so eingestellt werden, daß in spannungsfreiem Zustand eine große Länge des Heizleiters gegeben ist, so daß das Heizelement an jeder belasteten Stelle mindestens bis zur doppelten Länge und Breite zerstörungsfrei dehnbar ist. Verfahren zum elektrischen Beheizen von Sitzen, insbesondere Fahrzeugsitzen, durch mindestens ein flächig ausgebildetes Heizelement, dessen isolierter Heizleiter beidseitig abgedeckt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, d a ß auf jeweils einer tragenden Folie aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff zumindest ein mäanderförmig isolierter Heizleiter verlegt und durch eine in der Regel gleiche Folie abgegedeckt wird, wobei die thermische Formbeständigkeitder Heizleiterisolation die der Folien um ca. 50% überschreitet, d a ß anschtießend durch Zufuhr von Wärme und Druck ein fest verbundenes Heizelement gebildet wird, dessen Heizleiter ohne Entstehen einer Bindung mit den Folien in den entsprechend der Verlegung ausgebildeten mäanderförmigen Kanälen einliegt, und d a ß die elastischen Eigenschaften des Heizelementes in Verbindung mit der Wahl eines möglichst geringen Mäanderabstandes so eingetellt werden, daß in spannungsfreiem Zustand eine große Länge des Heizleiters gegeben ist, sodaß 'das Heizelement an jeder belasteten Stelle mindestens bis zur doppelten Länge und Breite zerstörungsfrei dehnbar ist. 1.
