Es werden für die Dauer des Gültigkeitsbereiches eines Sondertarifes in regelmäßigen Zeitintervallen von der Zentrale Tarifschaltsignale ausgestrahlt, die ein elektronisches Zeitrelais eines Zeitkreises in die Selbsthaltung steuern. Die der Relaisschaltung zugeordneten Kontakte werden betätigt und überbrücken beispielsweise eine mittels Schrittschaltwerk über eine Welle in serialer Folge schaltbare Tarifstufenumschaltung. Das wirkt sich in einem praktischen Anwendungsfall beispielsweise so aus, daß während eines Zeitbereiches, in welchem nur der Tarif II zur Anwendung kommen soll, das Taxametergerät durch den Einschalteffekt sich über den Tarif I hinweg unmittelbar auf den Tarif II einstellt. Diese Einrichtung dient vornehmlich der Gleichstellung der Fahrer untereinander und verhindert gleichzeitig eine nicht erlaubte Tarifumschaltung auf höhere Tarifstufen. Um ein mobiles Datenterminal an die verfügbaren Einrichtungen der Datenerfassung und Datenverarbeitung anzubinden und ein systemfähiges Konzept zu entwickeln, ist es von wesentlicher Bedeutung, daß die einzelnen Funktionseinheiten für das Erfassen, Verarbeiten, Übertragen, Anzeigen, Protokollieren usw. in modularer Technik aufgebaut sind. Je nach Erfordernis der Datenerfassung entsteht dann eine im Taxifahrzeug aus einzelnen Modulen kombinierbare Anlage. Kernstück eines mobilen Datenterminals ist eine Zentraleinheit 1 mit integriertem Taxametermodul. Die Zentraleinheit 1 enthält einen Programmspeicher und einen Datenspeicher zur Zwischenspeicherung von Informationen. Zum Anschluß von Systemperipherie an die Zentraleinheit 1 sind mehrere Schnittstellen 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 angeordnet, über welche mittels getrennter Leitungsverbindungen 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 Peripherieeinheiten anschließbar sind. Entsprechend ist über eine Leitung 7 ein Gebermodul 12 mit der Schnittstelle 2 der Zentraleinheit 1 verbindbar zur Übernahme von vom Taxifahrzeug abhängigen Daten. Eine Leitungsverbindung 8 führt über die Schnittstelle 3 in der Zentraleinheit 1 an ein Sende-Empfangs-Terminal 13. Eine Leitungsverbindung 9 ist vorgesehen für den Anschluß eines Lesemoduls 14 mit der Schnittstelle 4 der Zentraleinheit 1 zur Übernahme von Daten aus einer Wertkarte oder Identkarte 18. Eine Leitung 10 führt vort der Schnittstelle 5 der Zentraleinheit 1 zu einem Druckerterminal 15 zur programmgesteuerten Protokollierung sowohl intern ermittelter Daten in der Zentraleinheit 1 als auch von Daten aus einer ortsfesten Taxizentrale 19. Schließlich ist eine Schnittstelle 6 angeordnet für die Auskopplung aller Informationen über eine Leitungsverbindung 11 auf ein Anzeigefeld 17 eines Display-Terminals 16. A line 10 leads before the interface 5 of the central unit 1 to a printer terminal 15 for program-controlled logging of both internally determined data in the central unit 1 and data from a fixed taxi center 19. Finally, an interface 6 is arranged for the decoupling of all information via a line connection 11 on a display field 17 of a display terminal 16. Hierzu ist in der Zentraleinheit 1 ein Funkmodem vorgesehen. Die Übertragung von Textinformationen oder Taxametersteuerdaten von der Taxizentrale 19 zu einem mobilen Datenterminal erfolgt über den Sprechfunkkanal alternativ zum Sprechfunkverkehr. Der Sprechfunkverkehr wird dabei wenig beeinträchtigt, da die Übertragungszeiten sehr kurz sind. Für den Funk-Wechselsprechverkehr ist eine handliche Mikrofon-Lautsprecher-Kombination 20 vorgesehen, die über ein steckbares Kabel 21 mit dem Sende/Empfangsterminal 13 verbunden ist. Bei zentraler Einsatzsteuerung der Taxifahrzeuge sind die im Taxametermodul der mobilen Zentraleinheit 1 auslösbaren Funktionen, wie Ein/Ausschaltung, Tarifwahl, Datenanzeige, Quittungsdruck und dergl. mittels Funksignale aus der ortsfesten Taxizentrale 19 steuerbar. Entsprechend sind von der ortsfesten Taxizentrale 19 ausgegebene Informationen im Anzeigefeld 17 des Display-Terminals 16 darstellbar. Darüber hinaus sind diese Informationen und die über den Taxametermodul in der Zentraleinheit 1 ermittelten Daten auf einem Belegstreifen 22 des Druckerterminals 15 ausdruckbar. Selbst wenn ein Taxifahrer sich augenblicklich nicht in seinem Fahrzeug aufhält oder bei einem laufenden Fahrauftrag seine Aufmerksamkeit auf das Verkehrsgeschehen gerichtet ist, erhält er die Information auf einem Beleg abgedruckt in der Form einer schriftlichen Mitteilung. Durch einen Hörfehler bei Auftragserteilung über Sprechfunk beispielsweise falsch interpretierbare Informationen sind damit völlig ausgeschaltet.For this purpose, a radio modem is provided in the central unit 1. Diese Umschaltbarkeit auf eine autonome Betriebsweise ist erforderlich für eine Nutzung des mobilen Datenterminals außerhalb der Reichweite des Funkrufsystems in der ortsfesten Taxizentrale 19. Claims (9)

  1. Mobile data terminal for a taxi vehicle, having a taximeter unit which has a switching device which may be switched to a plurality of tariff stages, for the evaluation of tariff switching information and of instructions from a stationery taxi central exchange such that by means of radio transmission of an item of information the taximeter may be controlled to give a tariff stage predetermined by the taxi central exchange, characterized by a combination, which may be installed in a taxi vehicle, of individual modules which may be installed separately from one another, comprising: a module for a central processing unit (1) with an integrated taximeter module, an internal program memory, a data memory and with a plurality of input/output interfaces (2, 3, 4, 5, 6); further a transmitter/receiver terminal (13) for two-way transmission of taximeter data, control information and verbal instructions; a display terminal (16) which is constructed as an independent display device and may be installed; a printer terminal (15); and a reader module (14) for the evaluation of data and information provided on data carriers.
  2. Mobile data terminal according to Claim 1, characterized in that the central processing unit (1) contains a radio modem for the conversion of the pulsed received signals into digital signals and, conversely, of digital signals into pulsed transmitted signals.
  3. Mobile data terminal according to Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the functions which may be triggered in the taximeter module of the central processing unit (1), on/off switching, tariff selection, data display, receipt printing and the like, may be controlled by means of a radio signal from the stationary taxi central exchange (19).
  4. Mobile data terminal according to Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that, by way of the radio modem of the mobile central processing unit (1), information issued by the stationary taxi central exchange (19) may be displayed in the display field (17) of the display terminal (16) of the taxi vehicles.
  5. Mobile data terminal according to Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that information from the stationary taxi central exchange (19) and data acquired in the taximeter module of the mobile central processing unit (1) may be printed out on a tape voucher (22) of the printer terminal (15), which may be connected to the central processing unit (1) by way of an interface (5).
  6. Mobile data terminal according to Claim 1, characterized in that the mobile central processing unit (1) has an interface (4) for linking the reader module (14) for use of payment and identity cards (18).
  7. Mobile data terminal according to Claim 1, characterized in that the mobile central processing unit (1) has a further interface (2) for linking the generator module (12) for feeding the data dependent on the taxi vehicle on the one hand to the taximeter module for program-controlled determination of a fare, and on the other hand for the transmission and logging of taxi vehicle data to a stationary data processing unit (EDPU) in the taxi central exchange (19).
  8. Mobile data terminal according to Claims 1 and 3, characterized in that the functions of the taximeter module which are necessary for taxi operation may be triggered by way of autonomous activating means (23) integrated in the mobile central processing unit (1).
  9. Mobile data terminal according to Claims 1, 2 and 3, characterized in that the central processing unit (1) in a taxi vehicle may be switched over to autonomous operation by the stationary taxi central exchange (19) by means of the transmission of a signal code.
