1. Picture tube socket comprising a contact spring chamber in which a contact spring for the focus voltage is arranged, and comprising a focus chamber which surrounds the junction between the high voltage supply and the contact spring, characterized in that a focus voltage controller (32, 44; 48) is arranged inside the focus chamber (14).
