Abstract

Underneath a support table for a cover element or sheet there are positioned a number of receiving or storage bins for additional or supplementary sheets. Between the receiving or storage bins and the support table there is placed a conveyor belt. One run of the conveyor belt is pressed against the underside of the support table. A thrust element for advancing the cover element is coupled with the conveyor belt. A piston-cylinder unit displaces the conveyor belt and the thrust element in a direction of movement towards a deposit device. Durch Ansteuerung der Kolben-Zylindereinheiten 41, 42, 43 werden die gewünschten Beiblätter 35', 36' bzw. 37' vorgeschoben. Im in der Fig. 2 dargestellten Fall wird nur ein Beiblatt 35' benötigt, das mit seinem vorderen Ende in den Bewegungspfad des Förderbandes 25 hineinragt. Durch Einfahren der Kolbenstange 11 in Richtung des Pfeiles B wird nun sowohl das Stossorgan 16 wie auch das Förderband 25 in Richtung des Pfeiles A bewegt. Das Stossorgan 16 schiebt dabei das auf dem Auflagetisch 2 aufliegende Deckblatt 3 gegen die Ablage 5. Der, wie bereits erwähnt, an die Unterseite des stationären Auflagetisches 2 angedrückte obere Trum 25b des Förderbandes 25 wälzt sich nun am Auflagetisch 2 ab, wodurch das Förderband 25 umlaufend angetrieben wird. Der förderwirksame Trum 25a des Förderbandes 25 bewegt sich somit ebenfalls in Richtung des Pfeiles A. Beim Vorbeilaufen des Förderbandes 25 am vorgeschobenen Beiblatt 35' zieht der förderwirksame Trum 25a dieses Beiblatt 35' vom Stapel 32 ab und nimmt ihn (und allenfalls weitere vorgeschobene Beiblätter 36' und 37') mit. Da das Förderband 25 einerseits mit der durch die Einfahrgeschwindigkeit der Kolbenstange 11 festgelegten Vorschubgeschwindigkeit vorwärtsbewegt wird und andererseits mit ebenfalls dieser Vorschubgeschwindigkeit umläuft, werden die Beiblätter 35', 36', 37' doppelt so rasch vorgeschoben wie das Deckblatt 3. Somit ist sichergestellt, dass die Beiblätter 35', 36', 37' zumindest gleichzeitig mit oder gar vor dem Deckblatt 3 zur Ablage 5 gelangen, obwohl diese Beiblätter 35', 36', 37' einen längeren Weg zurückzulegen haben als das Deckblatt 3. Dies bedeutet, dass das Deckblatt 3 wie gewünscht auf die übereinanderliegend gesammelten Beiblätter 35', 36', 37' zu liegen kommt, wie das aus Figur 3 hervorgeht, in der das Stossorgan 16 und das Förderband 25 in ihrer vorderen Endlage dargestellt sind. 1. Apparatus for laying flexible sheet-like structures (35, 36, 37), especially leaves and sheets, on top of one another, with at least one upwardly open receiving compartment (29, 30, 31) which is intended for a stock of sheet-like structures (35, 36, 37) and which is arranged underneath a conveyor track (26) leading to a repository (5) for the sheet-like structures (35, 36, 37) collected so as to lie on top of one another, and with a collecting device (25) shiftable along a conveyor track (26) between an initial position and an end position and intended for conveying to the repository (5) the sheet-like structures (35, 36, 37) extracted from the receiving compartment (29, 30, 31) during its run past the latter, characterized in that the collecting device is at least one endless conveyor belt (25) which, during the shift from the initial position to the end position, is driven in rotation, by means of a first strand (25a) facing the receiving compartment (29, 30, 31), so to move in a shifting direction (A) of the conveyor belt (25).

Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that above the conveyor belt (25) is arranged a support (2) for further sheet-like structures (3) which determines a path of movement (4) leading to the repository (5), and in that there is an advancing device (16) for moving these further sheet-like structures (3) along this path of movement (4) to the repository (5).

7. Apparatus according to Claims 2 and 5, characterized in that the second strand (25b) of the conveyor belt (25) rests against the underside of the support (2).
8. Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized by a common drive (9) for moving the conveyor belt (25) along the conveyor track (26) and for advancing the further sheet-like structures (3) to the repository (5).
9. Apparatus according to Claims 6 and 8, characterized by a piston/cylinder unit (9) for moving the pushing member (16) and the conveyor belt (25) to and fro.
10. Use of the apparatus according to one of Claims 5 to 9 for assembling a respective cover-sheet set intended to be laid on to a stack of sheet-like products, especially printed products, and consisting of a cover-sheet (3) and of at least one supplementary sheet (35, 36, 37) arranged underneath the latter.
