Abstract

A driving apparatus for fasteners, which receives the fasteners, such as nails, pins, or screws attached to a supply belt, has a cutter for cutting off sections of the supply belt as the latter comes out empty of a belt guide channel in which the fasteners are removed, one by one, from the supply belt. Bei dem in Fig. 1 gezeigten Einschlaggerät ist in einem Gehäuse 1 ein Druckschlagkolben 2 mit Schlagstössel 3 verschiebbar gelagert. Mit dem Gehäuse 1 ist ein Zylinderfuss 4 verbunden, in dessen Ausstosskanal 5 das Befestigungsmittel, also z.B. der Nagel 6, bereitgestellt ist und von dort mit dem Schlagstössel 3 in ein nicht dargestelltes Werkstück eingeschlagen werden kann. Die Nägel 6 sind durch einen Haltegurt 7 zu einem Nagelstreifen 6 verbunden und spiralig aufgerollt in einem Trommelmagazin 8 gespeichert. Claims (3)

1. A driving-in device for fastening means (6) which are connected by at least one retaining belt (7) to a central fastening strip (6'), said device having a cylinder foot (4) in whose ejection channel (5) a power-operated impact rod (3) is movably supported, having a magazine (8) to hold the central fastening strip (6') from which magazine said strip is passed via a delivery shaft (9) to the ejection channel (5), having an outlet slit (13) for the empty retaining belt (7), and having a movably supported parting-off knife (16) on the cylinder foot (4) vertical to the delivery shaft (9), characterized in that the parting-off knife (16) is actuable independently of the impact rod (3) and from the opposite side of the retaining belt (7) inside a guide sleeve (15).
2. A driving-in device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the parting-off knife (16) has an actuating pin (22) with which said knife is manually actuable against the force of a spring (19).
3. A driving-in device according to Claim 1, characterized in that a compressed-air cylinder (25) is connected to the guide sleeve (24), and that the parting-off knife (16) is actuatable with the compressed-air piston (23) of said cylinder.
