Abstract

The invention relates to a tool for crimping, cutting, pressing or the like, having a tool head and gripping levers arranged on the latter for actuating the tools and also, in order to fix the final pressure required for pressing, having a positive lock which is engaged between the gripping levers and designed as a ratchet, having a toothed segment which is provided on one gripping lever and a pawl on the other gripping lever, which pawl engages in the toothed segment, with the mounting of the pawl (6) in the gripping lever (2) being adjustable in order to change the final pressure required for pressing.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Werkzeug zum Crimpen, Schneiden, Pressen oder dgl. mit einem Werkzeugkopf und an diesem angeordneten Griffhebeln zur Betätigung des Werkzeuges sowie einer zwischen den Griffhebeln eingeschalteten verstellbaren Zwangssperre bestehend aus einem nach innen gerichteten Zahnsegment und einer in dieses einrastenden Rastklinke. Ein solches Werkzeug ist bereits in der US-A-3 157 075 gezeigt. Das Zahnsegment ist hier jedoch im Zangengelenk gelagert, was einerseits zusätzliche Kosten verursacht und andererseits die Bewegungsmöglichkeiten der Griffhebel begrenzt. Darüberhinaus ist durch die Lagerung des Zahnsegmenten ein gewisses Bewegungsspiel unvermeidlich. Da auch die Rastklinke beweglich angeordnet sein muß und damit zwangsweise auch ein gewisses Bewegungsspiel aufweist, ist mit einem solchen Werkzeug eine präzise reproduzierbare Einstellung des Auslöse- bzw. Druckpunktes nicht möglich. Auch eine genaue Einstellung auf unterschiedliche Werkstücke ist aüsgeschlossen.The invention relates to a tool for crimping, cutting, pressing or the like. Tool for crimping, cutting, pressing or the like, with a tool head and hand levers arranged thereat for the actuation of the tool as well as with an adjustable constrained lock which is connected between the hand levers (1, 2) and consists of an inwardly directed toothed segment (3) and a detent pawl (6) detenting into this, characterised thereby, that the toothed segment (3) is rigidly connected with the one hand lever (1) and the detent pawl (6) borne in a fork (11), which is borne by means of a threaded spigot (15) and an adjusting nut (16) in the other hand lever (2) to be displaceable in the direction of the toothed segment (3, 4) for the adjustment of the pressure point.
2. Tool according to claim 1, characterised thereby, that the detent pawl (6) is loaded by a spring (14) drawing it back into the detent setting.
