Abstract

1. Joint connection for frameworks, especially of steel constructions with more than two rods, which are formed as round tubes (2) and are connected together in a joint by means of screw connections arranged on the tube axes, wherein the ends of the round tubes (2) converging to a joint have an external thread (10) and are fixed to a joint piece (1) by means of sleeve nuts (11) on projections of the joint piece (1) with external threads (13), characterized in that the root diameter (d1 ) of the external threads (10) provided at the ends of the round tubes (2) is at least as large as the outer diameter (D) of the round tubes (2), in that the cross-sectional surface and the bending stiffness of the round tubes (2) in the region of the external threads (10) of the same is at least as large as in the remaining part of the round tubes (2), in that the clear width of the sleeve nuts (11) is at least as large as the outer diameter (D) of the round tubes (2), so that they are slidable over or rotatable on the round tube (2), and in that the length of the thread (12) of the sleeve nut (11) is substantially equal to the sum of the lengths of the external threads (13; 10) on the projections and on the ends of the round tubes (2).
