Description

The invention relates to a belt consisting of upper material and lining, wherein the upper material and the lining consist in particular of leather or leather-like material and are connected to one another by gluing, with at least one end of the belt having a connecting part made of rigid material such as metal or Plastic, is connected and with a part of the connecting part protruding between the upper material and the lining, a flexible strain relief member fixed between the upper material and the lining of the belt in the form of a tensile fabric tape, a tensile film or in the form of threads running in the longitudinal direction of the belt on a Carriers are attached, is connected.

To connect straps to other parts, e.g. B. when connecting watch straps to watch cases, there are many options. been hit. A common one. The option used is to form a loop at the end of the belt, which is wrapped around a web, for example the lug of a watch. It has also been proposed to provide connecting parts made of rigid material in straps, which are then attached to another object, e.g. B. a watch case. However, it has been shown that these connecting parts do not hold the belt firmly enough, since the adhesive between the belt material and the rigid connecting part does not last long. In addition, it was previously disadvantageous that the connecting part had to extend very far into the strap in order to achieve a reasonably secure hold, but this impaired the softness and flexibility of the strap, which is particularly sought for watch bands.

It has therefore already been proposed (AT-B-360 785) to connect hook-shaped brackets for watch straps, by means of which the watch strap can be attached to the housing of a watch, to a plastic core provided in the watch strap in that the strap is cast into the plastic core .

In der CH-A-493 223 wird ein Riemen der eingangs genannten Gattung vorgeschlagen, bei dem eine Verstärkungseinlage mit einem als Röhrchen ausgebildeten Anschlußteil durch Anschweißen verbunden ist.CH-A-493 223 proposes a belt of the type mentioned at the outset, in which a reinforcing insert is connected by welding to a connecting part in the form of a tube.

A similar proposal is known from US-A-2573 055. There are embedded between the upper material and lining of a watch band, running in the longitudinal direction, thread-like elements with sleeve-shaped connecting parts by soldering.

Absatz).DE-A-21 29022 proposes gluing a hook-shaped bracket to the belt and additionally pulling a fabric strip through a slot provided in one of the legs of the bracket. Then an insert, which is provided between the upper leather and the lining leather, is glued to the fabric strip. Finally, the lining leather is glued to the insert. This type of connection is complex and disadvantageous in terms of production technology, which is also mentioned in DE-A-21 29022 (see page 1, last and page 2, 1st paragraph).

The problem with the aforementioned solution proposals is to achieve a secure connection between the connecting part and reinforcing insert with unimpaired flexibility, without the need for complex measures.

The invention has for its object to provide a safe and easy to produce connection between the connector and the strain relief member.

According to the invention this is achieved in that the strain relief member is attached directly to the connection part, forming a loop between the upper material and the lining of the belt through the rigid connecting part, and in that the strain relief member is glued between the upper material and the lining, the adhesive simultaneously for Connection of upper material and lining serves.

In the invention, the flexible strain relief member is connected to the connector without affecting the suppleness of the belt, it being sufficient to insert the flexible strain relief member through the eyelet of the connector and then to manufacture the belt, as is known, by gluing the upper material and lining. It is possible with the invention to connect a strain relief member to a connecting part without additional steps being necessary except for simply pushing the strain relief member through.

The connection according to the invention between the connecting part and the belt also allows the area of the connecting part projecting into the belt to be chosen very short, so that the flexibility of the belt is not adversely affected. According to the invention, it can be provided that the connecting part extends into the belt over a fraction of the width thereof.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the strain relief member can be fixed by at least one seam between the upper leather and the lining.

Further details and features of the invention result from the following description of the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. It shows
  • 1 shows an exploded oblique view of a first embodiment,
  • FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment, partly in longitudinal section,
  • FIGS. 3 to 5 different further embodiments of the connecting part and the strain relief member in an oblique view,
  • Figure 6 shows a detail of Figure 5 in view and
  • Figures 7 and 8 two modified embodiments of the connecting part and the strain relief member, also in an oblique view.

A connection part 1 shown in FIG. 1 is designed as a watch lug to be fastened to a watch case. This attachment can be done in different ways, e.g. B. by screws or the like. The connecting part 1 has a transverse slot 3 in a tapered part 2. Through this transverse slot 3, a strain relief member 4 designed as a fabric band is pushed through and bent to form a loop 5. The strain relief member 4 connected in this way to the connecting part 1 is inserted between the upper leather 6 and the lining leather 7 of a belt and is fixed between the upper leather 6 and the lining leather 7, for example by gluing and / or seams. The ends of the upper leather 6 and lining leather 7 on the connecting part side extend to the shoulders 8 and 9 of the connecting part 1, so that a largely stepless transition between the belt and the connecting part 1 is obtained. The longitudinal edges of the belt can, as is known from AT-PS-252634, be partially or completely remborded.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the connecting part 1 is entirely accommodated between the upper leather 6 and the lining leather 7. The connection between the connection part 1 and the strain relief member 4 takes place, as shown in FIG. 1, by means of a loop 5.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, too, the longitudinal edges of the belt can be remborded, the rembordment extending into the area of the connection part 1, so that the connection part 1 itself is not visible. The connecting part 1 can be connected to the abutment 11 of a watch case 12, for example using a spring pin, not shown.

The connecting part 1 shown in Figure 3 is equipped with spring pins 13 for attachment to a watch case, not shown. In this embodiment of the invention, the strain relief member 4 to be inserted or fixed between the upper leather 6 and the lining leather 7 consists of two bands which are fastened in transverse slots 3, which are arranged in a tapered part 2 connected to the connecting part 1 or integrally formed therewith. The upper leather 6 or the lining leather 7 can on the spring pins 13 receiving z. B. cylindrical part of the connector 1 may be connected flush or cover it, z. B. in the form of a loop.

According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the connecting part 1 is designed as a metal part, which, as illustrated in FIG. 1, has a transverse slot 3 through which a band-shaped strain relief member 4 is led to form a loop 5 and is fastened by closing the loop.

Figures 5 and 6 show an embodiment similar to Figure 3 of a connecting part 1 with spring pins 13 and a tapered part 2 with transverse slots 3 for the passage of a band-shaped strain relief member 4, but in this case a one-piece threading. According to this embodiment, the connecting part is used to connect a belt (not shown) to a clasp 14, such as a pin buckle.

Bohrungen 3' hindurchgefädelt sind.FIG. 7 shows an embodiment in which a metal part is provided as the connection part 1, which can be connected to the watch case 12 using bores 15 and a pin 16. As a strain relief member 4, threads are provided which are threaded through a transverse slot 3 in the connection part 1 or bores 3 '.

Die Figur 8 zeigt eine Ausführungsform, bei der als Zugentlastungslied 4 wieder Fäden vorgesehen sind, die durch den Anschlußteil 1 in Bohrungen 3' eingefädelt und sich kreuzend in den Riemen zwischen dessen nicht weiter dargestelltes Oberleder und Futterleder eingefügt sind.FIG. 8 shows an embodiment in which threads are again provided as strain relief members 4, which are threaded through the connecting part 1 into bores 3 'and are inserted crossing into the belt between the upper leather and lining leather (not shown further).
