Description

The invention relates to a lace fastener with eyelets for shoes, the eyelets can be inserted through openings in the shaft or in a fastening part to be connected to the latter.

The so-called Ghilly lacing is used for certain types of shoes. The Ghilly lacing is made in such a way that e.g. plastic ring-shaped eyelets are attached in a special operation to the reinforcement part usually referred to as eyelet leather. The attachment is usually done by sewing rags or strips connected to the eyelets to the reinforcing part. If necessary, such strips are already provided on the reinforcement part, which are then threaded through the eyelets and sewn to the reinforcement part after bending. In some cases, the flaps or strips sewn to the reinforcement part themselves are loop-shaped eyelets through which the shoelace is pulled.

The Ghilly lacing, which normally ensures a tight and firm fit of the shoes, is rarely used because it is very expensive to manufacture. Fastening the eyelets or loops is very difficult and largely requires manual work when threading the eyelets and sewing the fastening strips.

In order to counter the aforementioned disadvantages, it has been proposed to produce one-piece eyelet moldings which are injection molded from plastic and which already contain the eyelets or in which the metal eyelets are partially embedded. Such solutions have become known, for example, from the documents of DE-GM 80 21 660 and DB-GM 70 23 657. The plastic strip to be sewn in must be sufficiently strong and dimensionally stable; this requires the use of a suitable material of sufficient thickness. Therefore, however, special precautions, such as Heating the thermoplastic, necessary in order to be able to sew such an eyelet on the shaft at all. Such eyelet lasts also have a disadvantageous effect when wearing shoes provided with these lasts. In addition, the visual appearance of these plastic eyelets does not satisfy fashionable footwear in any way.

The invention has for its object to propose an eyelet closure of the type in question, which is simple and inexpensive to manufacture and can also be quickly and efficiently attached to the shafts of shoes and which even with fashionable footwear offers an optically perfect view and which furthermore allows the adjustment or The curvature of the shaft over the instep of the foot is not impeded and does not cause any pressure points.

This object is achieved in that in the case of a lacing closure strip, the eyes are connected with their base to a substantially straight, rod-shaped web and consist of one piece therewith, the web sections adjacent to each individual eyelet having a length to the side of the eyelets that are half the length Distance of the passage openings in the shaft or in the fastening part corresponds and that the web sections between and laterally of the eyelets lie over their entire length on the underside of the shaft part or the fastening part between the passage openings for the eyelets.

The lace fastener strips with eyelets according to the invention meet all the conditions imposed on them on the one hand with regard to their own production, and on the other hand with regard to their assembly when attaching sn the shafts of shoes during their manufacture. It is only necessary in shoe manufacture to punch slot-shaped openings either in the leather or in fastening parts to be connected to it, which openings can be punched at the same time without the need for an additional operation. The closure strips designed according to the invention are then only to be pushed through the slit-shaped openings from the correct side, whereupon the shaft is further processed in the manner considered in each case, as can be seen from the exemplary embodiments and their description. The individual eyelets on the rod-shaped web are secured and fixed by this, since the web sections between and to the side of the eyelets lie essentially over their entire length either on the underside of the shaft part or on a fastening part. It is advantageous that the eyelets can be pivoted about the axis of your rod-shaped web, which makes it easier to pull in laces. The inventive design of the closure strips ensures that the individual eyelets have a firm hold and tearing out of the parts holding the bar between the individual slot-shaped openings for the eyelets is prevented.

It is also possible, if necessary, to articulate the individual eyelets of the lace closure strip on the rod-shaped web connecting them, i.e. pivotable, to fasten, i.e. that the eyelets are provided on their web with a hole with which they are threaded on, for example, a piece of wire. Further features of the lace fastener bar with eyelets according to the invention emerge from the subclaims and the description of the exemplary embodiments.

  • Fig. 1 eine Ansicht einer erfindungsgemäß ausgebildeten Schnürverschlußleiste mit Ösen;
  • Fig. 2 einen mit einem Schnürverschluß mit Schnürverschlußleisten nach Fig. 1 versehenen Schuh;
  • Fig. 3 einen Teil eines Schaftes für einen Schuh nach Fig. 2;
  • Fig. 4 und 5 je einen Schuh mit Schnürverschluß, bei welchen die Schnürverschlußleisten von einen gesonderten Befestigungsteil gehalten werden;
  • Fig. 6, 7 und 8 je eine Ansicht von Befestigungsteilen zum Anbringen der Schnürverschlußleisten an einem Schuh;
The invention is explained below with reference to the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 9 of the drawing. Show it:
  • Fig. 1 is a view of an inventive trained laces with eyelets;
  • 2 shows a shoe provided with a lace closure with lace closure strips according to FIG. 1;
  • 3 shows a part of a shaft for a shoe according to FIG. 2;
  • FIGS. 4 and 5 each have a shoe with a lace closure, in which the lace closure strips are held by a separate fastening part;
  • 6, 7 and 8 each show a view of fastening parts for attaching the lacing closure strips to a shoe;
  • Fig. 9 shows a women's shoe in which the lace closure strips are attached to the shaft parts.

As can be seen from Fig. 1, the lace closure bar with eyelets according to the invention consists of an essentially straight, rod-shaped web 11, to which the eyelets 12 are connected in the region of their base 13, i.e. that the base 13 of the eyelets 12 forms part of the web 11. The eyelets 12 are in the usual eyelet spacing and along the base of the eyelets 12 these are connected to one another by the web sections 14. With their web sections 14, the webs 11 of the closure strips rest on the shaft 21 of a shoe or on a fastening part 22 to be attached to the shaft, in each case between the slot-shaped passage openings 23, so that the web sections 14 lie over the entire length of the shaft 21 or fastening part 22 support.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, the passage openings 23 for the eyelets 12 lie along the fold line 24 30 of the shaft leather.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the lacing closure strips are carried by a fastening part 22, which are shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. These fastening parts 22 are quilted with the shaft 25.

Another type of fastening of the lacing closure strips can be seen from FIG. 5. In the shoe shown, a fastening strip 26, which is shown in FIG. 8 and which has the slot-shaped openings 23 for the passage of the eyelets 12, is sewn onto the shaft 27.

In the women's shoe shown in Fig. 9, the lace closure strips are inserted through slot-shaped through openings in the leather upper, which is provided with a lining on its underside. Advantageously, the upper is sewn to the lining on both sides by means of a stitching 28 on each side of the webs 11.

The eyelets 12 can have any shape. It is only essential that they are connected to one another at their base 13.
