Definitions
- the invention relates to an empty bottle collecting and billing device with an input zone for receiving individual bottles of any size in a common collecting container, the bottom of which can be lowered from an upper starting position depending on the number of bottles entering the collecting container to a lower end position .
- Such devices should support the possibility of reusing bottles and should therefore be suitable for saving valuable raw materials.
- a device shows, for example, a lowerable floor in a collecting container, which lowers by a predetermined, predetermined amount for each empty bottle entered.
- the distance between the bottles entered and the bottle acceptance opening can become so great that a risk of bottle breakage can be caused when bottles are further entered.
- the emptying of the collecting container, which is permanently installed in the device, is just as cumbersome as it is time-consuming.
- the collecting container is designed as a carriage that can be inserted into a frame, the bottom of which can be displaced in height by a chain drive in the frame, its respective height being influenced by the uppermost, a limit switch for the drive motor of the chain drive contacting bottle in the collection container.
- a collecting container 1 which is designed as a carriage, is located in a frame 2.
- a bottom 3 of the container 1 has lateral protruding support pins 4, which are loosely connected to drivers 5 on a chain drive 6.
- a drive motor 7 is used via chain wheels 8 to raise and lower the floor 3.
- a limit switch 9 limits the upward movement of the floor 3.
- An ultrasound head 10 is used to record the size and shape of a bottle that is entered into an open sector 11 of an acceptance rotor 12, the values of which are recorded in a computer 13. Via closed relays 14 and 15, the acceptance rotor 12 can now start until the current is interrupted again, specifically by means of a switching pin 16, which reaches a notch 17 in a disk 18, which is fastened on the shaft of the acceptance rotor 12. At the same time, the direction of rotation of the acceptance rotor 12 is changed by entering a further empty bottle, so that the alternately sliding over bottle drain plates 19 Fill empty bottles evenly to the left and right and prevent the formation of a bottle pyramid and thus bottle breakage.
- guide lips 22 are arranged at the outer end of the surfaces delimiting the sectors 11 and guide flaps 24 are arranged on the housing 23 surrounding the acceptance rotor.
- light barriers 25 and 26 are arranged on the housing 23 on both sides of the acceptance rotor, which give the computer 13 a corresponding impulse by a bottle sliding past. If a bottle remains on the bottle drain plate 19, one of the light barriers 25 or 26 interrupts the circuit for the acceptance rotor until the bottle drain plate 19 is free again and the obstructing bottle is rolled into the collecting container 1. After each bottle acceptance, the acceptance rotor 12 changes its direction of rotation under the influence of the relays 27 and 15. During the rotary movement, the relay 15 is switched off via relay 27 until the light barrier 25 or 26 is interrupted by a bottle which remains on the bottle drain plate 19. If the light barrier 25 is interrupted, the relay 27, like that of the light barrier 26, can no longer respond to the relay 14.
- the direction of rotation of the acceptance rotor 12 is maintained until the second light barrier 25 or 26 is interrupted again.
- the interruption of the light barriers 25 and 26 also has the consequence that the relay 28 responds and starts the drive motor 7 and initiates a downward movement of the floor 3. After the light barrier 25, 26 has become free, this downward movement is continued by a time delay relay 29 in order to avoid an uncontrolled upward and downward movement.
- the relay 28 is connected in series with the delay relay 29 via both light barriers 25, 26.
- the duration of the run-on time initiated by the relay 29 depends on the diameter of the largest acceptable empty bottle plus approximately 15 mm.
- the bottom 3 moves upwards again until the uppermost bottle lying on the bottom touches one of the two switch blades 30 or 31 arranged under the bottle drain plates 19, which act on limit switches 32 or 33.
- the direction of rotation of the drive motor 7 from the downward travel via the relay 28 to the upward travel is achieved in that after the overrun time the relay 28 drops out and the limit switches 32 and 33 have been released by the previous downward travel.
- a relay 34 picks up, causing the base 3 to move upward again until one of the limit switches 32 or 33 on the switching vanes 30 or 31 is closed.
- a signal is triggered by a switch 35 which indicates that the now filled collection container 1 is to be replaced by an empty one.
- the control system is de-energized by a limit switch 36 and a corresponding signal appears on a display part 37 which indicates that the bottle acceptance is blocked.
- Closing a switch 38 via a door lock 39 causes the drive motor 7 to start, even if the limit switch 36 should not yet be closed, the relay 28 picking up primarily until the limit switch 36 is reached. This ensures that the bottom 3 is always in its lower end position after opening a door in a housing, not shown.
- the empty bottle collection and billing device can be expanded if the values determined by the computer 13 are transferred to a printer 40 which determines the bottle deposit to be expected and immediately reports it.

Abstract
The device is used to collect and settle empty beverage bottles in beverage markets. In this case, a trolley is provided as a collecting container, the bottom of which can be displaced in height by a chain drive, and inevitably via light barriers and switching vanes, depending on the bottles continuously entering the collecting container. The bottles enter an acceptance rotor with sectors when they are entered. This rotor changes its direction of rotation after each bottle entered, so that the bottles alternately enter the container in two directions via guide plates. This avoids the formation of bottle pyramids. The particular advantage is the avoidance of bottle breakage due to the height adjustment of the bottom and the easy replacement of a full container with an empty one. In connection with a bottle detection and evaluation unit, the device can accept bottles and settle their deposit amounts.
Description
The invention relates to an empty bottle collecting and billing device with an input zone for receiving individual bottles of any size in a common collecting container, the bottom of which can be lowered from an upper starting position depending on the number of bottles entering the collecting container to a lower end position .
Such devices should support the possibility of reusing bottles and should therefore be suitable for saving valuable raw materials.
Known devices of this type, however, have certain disadvantages, in particular in that they require a considerable amount of space and their use is time-consuming.
A device according to OS 1 574575 shows, for example, a lowerable floor in a collecting container, which lowers by a predetermined, predetermined amount for each empty bottle entered. In this case, however, the distance between the bottles entered and the bottle acceptance opening can become so great that a risk of bottle breakage can be caused when bottles are further entered. The emptying of the collecting container, which is permanently installed in the device, is just as cumbersome as it is time-consuming.
These disadvantages are now eliminated by the invention in that the collecting container is designed as a carriage that can be inserted into a frame, the bottom of which can be displaced in height by a chain drive in the frame, its respective height being influenced by the uppermost, a limit switch for the drive motor of the chain drive contacting bottle in the collection container.
- Fig. 1 eine schematische Darstellung der gesamten Vorrichtung
- Fig. 3 einen Schaltplan für die Vorrichtung.
- Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of the entire device
- Fig. 2 shows a section of the chain drive for the floor
- Fig. 3 is a circuit diagram for the device.
A collecting container 1, which is designed as a carriage, is located in a
An
The direction of rotation of the
The interruption of the
As a result of this measure, an extremely small distance between the empty bottles respectively entered in the collecting container 1 and the
If the collection container 1 has now largely filled with empty bottles entered and the
If the
Closing a
The empty bottle collection and billing device can be expanded if the values determined by the
