Description

The invention relates to a floor frame for windows or doors with an attachable roller shutter box or the like. A blind box can also take the place of a roller shutter box.

It is known to place a roller shutter box on a window or door frame, the cross and side parts of which have the same cross section. Such elements, however, have a relatively large overall height and require a correspondingly large amount of installation space, which is not always available, in particular when renovating old buildings. To reduce the overall height of such constructions, numerous solutions have therefore become known in which the roller shutter box completely replaces the upper cross part of the window or door frame (compare, for example, DE-OS 2722 289). The bottom of the box is formed in all these cases either by aluminum rails with relatively complicated cross sections or by relatively unstable plastic parts, on which the stops for the casement of the window or door are provided. Apart from the generally poor thermal insulation, when using aluminum profile rails for the above purposes there is a risk of condensation water forming in the connection areas of the frame and thus of structural damage. The decisive disadvantage of the last-mentioned elements, however, is that the separate production of the stick frame - without a frame cross piece at the top - (U-shaped) is technically difficult, which also applies to the assembly of the U-shaped frame with the roller shutter boxes. Finally, the variable profile designs on the bottom of the box made of aluminum or plastic also require a very specific profile for the frame parts, i. that is, the profile cross section of the box lower parts is predetermined by the cross section of the frame parts.

The invention has for its object to provide a floor frame for windows or doors with attachable roller shutter box or the like, which is simple and easy to assemble as a complete four-part frame in manufacture with the roller shutter box, but the overall height of the element should be relatively low. Furthermore, the loss of light should be negligible compared to normal windows. Finally, good thermal insulation should be achieved and the risk of condensation should be eliminated and the window or door frame should also be usable without the roller shutter box.

According to the invention this object is achieved in that the upper cross part of the frame has a reduced height, which is only a fraction of that of the two side parts and the lower cross part of the frame, and that the lower part of the roller shutter box or the like by a reinforcing profile rail for the formed upper cross part of the floor frame or is provided with such a reinforcing profile rail, which can be connected to the upper cross part of the floor frame in a positive and non-positive manner.

The stick frame is therefore easy to manufacture, just like the known frames, which have four parts with the same cross-sectional shape, but has the desired reduced overall height compared to the latter. The required reinforcement of the upper "weakened cross part of the stick frame is advantageously carried out by a box-side reinforcement profile rail, which can be connected to the upper cross part of the stick frame in a positive and non-positive manner. This means that the roller shutter box can always be quickly and precisely connected to the frame. Alternatively, however, the cane frame can advantageously also be used without a roller shutter box, in which case only the reinforcing profile rail (without the remaining parts of the roller shutter box) is to be connected to the upper transverse part of the cane frame. The upper cross part of the stick frame can be used for smaller series such. B. obtained by correspondingly reducing (recutting) the profile used for the side parts and the lower cross part of the frame, in the case of larger quantities it is advantageous to use a separately extruded, low profile. The invention can be used with window or door frames made of plastic, metal or wood and is suitable for all commercially available window and door profiles, that is to say also for so-called center sealing systems. Furthermore, the invention enables good thermal insulation in the connection area between the floor frame and the roller shutter box and eliminates the risk of condensation. If the reinforcing profile rail, which stabilizes the weakened upper cross section compared to the other parts of the frame, also forms the lower part of the roller shutter box, you can advantageously achieve a relatively small winding space for the roller shutter curtain, which in turn has a favorable effect on the overall height of the element that the latter is particularly suitable for renovating old buildings.

The assembly of the roller shutter box with the stick frame is further simplified if the reinforcing profile rail on the underside of the roller shutter box can be plugged or fitted onto or into the upper transverse part of the stick frame.

According to yet another embodiment of the invention, the reinforcing profile rails have an essentially Z-shaped cross section and the upper transverse part of the frame at least has a complementary contour with respect to the reinforcement profile rail. In the Opposite directions angled leg of this reinforcing profile rail can advantageously absorb the contact pressure of the seals on the casement of the window or the door particularly well when closing the same. The further embodiment of the invention according to claim 4 further promotes the above mode of operation.

If, according to yet another embodiment of the invention, the bearing plates for the winding shaft of the roller shutter are arranged at the ends of the reinforcing profile rail, for. B. molded, screwed or attached, the reinforcing rail advantageously fulfills a further function as a supporting element for these bearing plates or the winding shaft.

Mit diesen seitlichen Abschlußplatten 14 sind auch die Eckprofilschiene 21 sowie die Außenblende 13 durch nicht gezeigte Schrauben verbunden.FIG. 1 shows a roller shutter box 10 which contains an upper part 11, a rear wall 12 which closes the inspection opening 15, an outer panel 13 and lateral end plates 14, of which only one can be seen in FIG. 1. The lower part of the roller shutter box 10 is formed by a reinforcing profile rail 16 for the upper transverse part 17 (FIG. 2) of a window frame. This reinforcing profile rail 16 is made of metal and, as shown, has a substantially Z-shaped cross section. 18 is the roller shutter curtain wound on a winding shaft (not shown) in the roller shutter box 10, of which a lowered part 19 in one of the two lateral guide rails 20 is indicated in FIGS. 2, 4 and 5. The rear wall 12 is connected to the upper part 11 of the roller shutter box by a corner profile rail 21. At the upper edge of the outer panel 13, a flange 22 is formed, with which the outer panel is attached to the upper part 11. The rear wall 12 is also screwed at 23 to the reinforcing profile rail 16, which in turn is firmly connected to the side end plates 14 by screws, not shown. With these side end plates 14, the corner rail 21 and the outer panel 13 are connected by screws, not shown.

In order to connect the roller shutter box 10 to the window frame, the box with its reinforcing profile rail 16 is fitted onto the upper transverse part 17 of the frame and connected to it by screws. Since the upper cross part 17 of the window frame also has a substantially Z-shaped cross-section, when the roller shutter box 10 is placed on the frame di the legs 24 and 25 of the reinforcing profile rail 16 projecting up and down against the corresponding legs Place 26 or 27 of the upper cross part 17 of the stick frame, whereby if the box is laterally aligned on the stick frame, the roller shutter box 10 is arranged exactly on the stick frame.

The window casement, of which only the upper cross member 28 is shown in Figure 2, consists of plastic profiles which are reinforced by embedded, U-shaped metal rails 29. 30 denotes the two laminated glass panes which are used in a sealed manner in the window casement. The sealing strips of the window are indicated at 31 and 32. The strip 31 is attached to the upper cross part 28 of the casement and the strip 32 to the upper cross part 17 of the stick frame. It is understood that the sealing strips extend around the entire window. The sealing strip 31 lies with the window closed against a downward extension 33 of the leg 26 of the upper cross part 17, while the sealing strip 32 attached to the leg 27 of the upper cross part 17 is held against the outside of the upper cross part 28 of the casement.

Das untere nicht gezeigte Querteil des Flügelrahmens hat das gleiche Querschnittsprofil.FIG. 3 shows a horizontal section in the area of one side part of the cane and sash frame, which is used in the embodiment according to FIG. 2. A comparison of Figures 2 and 3 shows that the side parts 28 'of the casement have the same cross-sectional profile made of plastic as the upper part 28 and also contain the reinforcing U-shaped metal rails 29'. The lateral sealing strips are indicated at 31 'and 32'. The lower cross part, not shown, of the casement has the same cross-sectional profile.

The side parts 34 and the lower cross part (not shown) of the stick frame have the same cross-section shown in FIG. 3, are made of plastic and contain embedded reinforcing rails 35. In order to obtain the flat top cross part 17 (FIG. 2) for the stick frame, a Plastic profile can be cut along the line AB in Fig. 3. This method is preferred for small series Larger quantities, however, the upper cross part 17 of the frame is appropriately extruded separately. In comparison with FIG. 2, FIG. 3 clearly shows the structural height of the upper transverse parts 17, which is greatly reduced in comparison to the other three profiles of the frame. The weakened compared to the remaining three parts of the frame upper cross member 17 is solidified or stabilized by the reinforcing profile rail 16 made of metal when the shutter box 10 is attached. In the event that the stick frame containing the upper weakened cross part 17 is to be used without the roller shutter box 10, all that is required is to connect a separate reinforcing profile rail 16 to the upper cross part 17 in the manner shown in FIG. This creates a stable, torsion-resistant stick frame.

In FIG. 2, 36 denotes one of the two bearing plates for the winding shaft of the roller shutter curtain 18, which is not shown. These bearing plates 36 are notched at the ends of the reinforcing profile rail 16 and bent upwards at a right angle.

The embodiment according to FIG. 4 essentially corresponds to that according to FIG. 2 and the same parts are therefore identified by the same reference numbers. Only the upper cross part 17 'of the floor frame is designed to be somewhat flat, whereby a further reduction in the overall height of the window roller shutter element is achieved. In addition, here the sealing strip 31 is advantageously pressed against the leg 26 ′ of the upper transverse part 17 ′ supported by the reinforcing profile rail 16 when the window is closed.

The exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5 contains the same roller shutter box 10 with reinforcing profile rail 16 as the examples according to FIGS. 1, 2 and 4. The upper transverse part 17 "of the plastic frame also has legs 26" or 27 "drawn upwards and downwards, however, approximately in the middle still another leg 37, against which the sealing strip 32A is pressed when the window is closed. The sealing strip 32A is likewise attached essentially centrally to the upper transverse part 28A of the window casement. The upper transverse part 17 "has metal rails in relation to the other three solidified parts (not shown) of the frame also in this case have a significantly lower overall height and are stiffened or stabilized by the reinforcing profile rail 16 of the roller shutter box 10.
