Die Erfindung betrifft ein Polstermöbel nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1. Polstermöbel sollen einerseits eine bequeme Sitzgelegenheit bilden und andererseits trotz ihrer hierzu erforderlichen voluminösen Bauweise den vorhandenen Platz möglichst günstig ausnützen. Hierzu ist es bekannt, Einheiten von Polstersitzen, die jeweils einem einzigen Sitzplatz entsprechen zu einem Sitzmöbel zusammenzustellen, welches dem vorhandenen Platz angepasst ist. Claims (8)

1. Upholstered furniture (1) with a seat part (2) and seat arm parts (3, 4) adjacent the end faces of the same, where at least the seat part (2) has upholstery and is adjustable in respect of its width (B) usable for seating with respect to at least one of both seat arm parts (3, 4) characterised in that the seat part together with its upholstery (2', 2") can be slid into the side arm part (3, 4).

Upholstered furniture according to claim 1 characterised in that the seat part (2) has a seat plate (14) and a back rest (15) wherein in the side arm part an open hollow space (5) is provided opposite the seat part (2) into which the seat part projects with its ends and in which the seat plate (14) is supported.
3. Upholstered furniture according to claim 2 characterised in that the seat plate (14) and the back rest (15) are fixedly connected with one another.
4. Upholstered furniture according to claim 1, characterised in that the seat part (2) on its underside directed to the floor has an ajustment device (16) with which the usable width (B) for sitting is ajustable.
5. Upholstered furniture according to claim 4, characterised in that the adjustment device (16) is a spindle drive (21, 24; 22, 25) acting perpendicular to the side arm parts (3, 4) with which at least one side arm part (3, 4) can be slid with reference to the seat part (2).
6. Upholstered furniture according to claim 5 characterised in that the spindle drive is part of a rotatable shaft (17) extending below the seat part (2) wherein the spindle nut (24, 25) is connected via a push connection e.g. via two push rods (26) with the side arm part (3, 4).
7. Upholstered furniture according to claim 6, characterised in that with the shaft (17) both side arm parts (3, 4) are simultaneously slidable.
