Elektrisches Drahtheizelement, welches nach dem Verfahren gemäß der Ansprüche 1 oder 2 herstellbar ist und einen die Heizleiterwicklung aufnehmenden Heizleiterträger hat der aus mehreren im Winkel aneinanderstoßenden Trägerplatten aus wärmebeständigem Isoliermaterial gleicher Form und Kantenlänge besteht, wobei der drahtförmige Heizleiter mäanderartig, zickzackförmig oder nach Art eines Wellbandes ausgebildet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trägerplatten (1-4) gegeneinander in Längsrichtung verschieblich angeordnet sind.3.
