Abstract

The barrel housing of a multistage centrifugal pump has an elongated cylindrical main section and a discrete annular section which is inserted into one end portion and defines an annular shoulder facing the other end portion of the main section. The shoulder is engaged by the inner casing of the pump. The annular section can constitute a prefabricated component or is formed by cladding. The inlet opening of the housing is provided only in the one end portion of the main section, only in a portion of the annular section which extends outwardly beyond the one end portion of the main section, or is a composite opening having a first part in the one end portion of the main section and a registering second part in the annular section. The outlet opening for compressed fluid is provided in the other end portion of the main section.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Topfgehäuse für Kreiselpumpen gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Hauptanspruches.The invention relates to a pot housing for centrifugal pumps according to the preamble of the main claim.

Aus der US-PS 30 51 090 sowie der US-PS 31 53 383 ist eine derartige Pumpenkonstruktion bekannt, bei der ein zusammengespanntes Stufengehäusepaket im Bereich der Saugseite an einem Ansatz des Topfgehäuses anliegt. Diese Anlage sowie der Zusammenhalt der einzelnen Stufengehäuse erfolgt bei dieser Konstruktion durch Zuganker. Es sind auch andere Konstruktionen geläufig, bei denen beispielsweise der druckseitige Gehäusedeckel des Topfgehäuses die einzelnen Stufengehäuse gegen diesen Ansatz preßt. Der Ansatz dient zur Aufnahme derjenigen Kräfte, die innerhalb des Topfgehäuses vorherrschen und durch die Geometrie der hydraulischen Einbauten sowie der Dichtungskräfte bestimmt sind. Die Anlagefläche für die Stufengehäuse bildet somit die Trennung zwischen der druckmäßig niedrig belasteten Zulaufseite und dem hochbelasteten Bereich am Pumpenaustritt bzw. dem die Stufengehäuse umhüllenden Topfgehäuse . Die an dieser Anlagefläche vorherrschende Flächenpressung bedingt eine bestimmte radiale Breite und bestimmt somit auch den Innendurchmesser des Topfgehäuses. Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt gemäß dem kennzeichnenden Teil des Hauptanspruches. Somit kann durch die Verwendung eines einfachen zylinderförmigen Rohrstückes, in das ebenso einfach herzustellende Einsätze eingebracht und mit dem Rohrstück dichtend und/oder kräfteaufnehmend verbunden werden, mit geringstem Aufwand ein hohe Kräfte aufnehmendes Gehäuse erstellt werden. Die innerhalb des Rohrstückes befindliche Stirnseite des oder der Einsätze dient als Anlage für das Stufengehäusepaket und der außerhalb des Rohrstückes befindliche Teil des Einsatzstückes wirkt als Zulaufseite. Eine andere Ausgestaltung der Erfindung sieht vor, daß der Einsatz oder die Einsätze im Endbereich des Rohrstückes angeordnet sind, wobei deren nach innen gerichtete Stirnseite eine axiale Anlagefläche für die Stufengehäuse bildet. Die äußere Stirnseite kann hierbei mit dem Rohrstück abschließen oder innerhalb desselben zum Liegen kommen.The invention has for its object to develop a little complex pot housing, which is easy to manufacture under high loads.
