Abstract

To prevent cats and dogs from entering children's play areas and to prevent window panes from being broken by flying bullets or the like, a play cage is constructed in the play area. cage includes uprights (1), beams (2), side walls in the form of nets (3) and a roof in the form of a net (4) suspended with a tensor wire (7) stretched between two opposite posts (8 , 9).

Description

* - Playing provision for children. -
The invention relates to a playing provision for children. The disadvantage of playgrounds near houses and buildings is that window-panes might by broken by balls or such like. In addition playgrounds are often freely accessible for dogs and cats that may 5 drop there excrements.
The object of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages by a rather simple provision.
Therefore according to the invention a playing cage is build on the playground said cage comprising posts, girders disposed at 10 the upperendof the posts, side wall portions of net shaped material applied between the posts and the girders, and a roof made of net shaped material.
In a simple roof construction a bracing wire is strained between two opposite span poles, from which bracing wire a ridge wire 15 of the roof is suspended.
To prevent the children from climbing on the girders, barbed wire may be fixed around the cage, said barbed wire being suspended from brackets connected to the girders and/or the upper end of the posts. To abate noise the net shaped material for the side wall 20 portionsand theroofis preferablymade of textile, such as nylon. The invention will now be elucidated with the aid of the figure showing an embodiment perspectively.
The shown cage is build up from posts l.anchered in the bottom by concrete blocks, girders 2 connected to the upper end of the 25 posts, net shaped side wall portions 3 slackly applied between the posts and the girders, and a slanting roof of which a ridge wire 5 _ is suspended by wires 6 from a bracing wire 7 connected to two opposite posts 8, 9.
The net shaped side wall portions 3 are suspended from S-shaped 30 hooks, of which the upper loop is put into openings in.the girders 2 and of which the lower loop is closed by pincers. Clamps 10 are used to connect the nets to the posts.
Brackets 11 are mounted at the upper end of the posts 1, on which bracket a barbed wire 13 is hung said wire being strained around
OMPI the cage.
The net shaped material could be made of metal gauze zinc- plated or covered with plastic, however to abate noise the net is preferably made from textile, such as nylon. To hinder climbing in the net the side wall portions are loosely connected.
Within the scope of invention a lot of modifications are possible.
