Definitions
- a slitting and / or creasing machine according to DE-A-2142117 is also known.
- a gripper arrangement is used for positioning.
- the tool bodies are moved by an adjustment slide for the purpose of positioning and the gripper releases the tool body to be positioned in each case. Once all the tool bodies have been removed, they are clamped pneumatically or hydraulically onto the tool shafts. It is disadvantageous that considerable dimensional differences can occur both during the adjustment process and in particular when the tool bodies are fixed, because the tool bodies are very short in relation to the shaft diameter and therefore tend to tilt at the slightest contamination.
- Another slitting and / or creasing machine which also works with a gripper arrangement, is known from FR-A-2 274 415 (corresponds to DE-A-25 26 599).
- the invention offers the advantage that the slitter and / or scoring machine can be built more cheaply because only one positioning drive is necessary. For a machine with three tool stations, depending on the design variant, only six or only two adjusting spindles and sliding bodies are required.
- the moving material web is a corrugated cardboard web and this is moved in a horizontal plane by the slitting and / or creasing machine 1.
- the longitudinal cutting and / or creasing machine 1 or 1 ' has a frame 2, which has a yoke-like base frame part 3 and side stand parts 4 and 5.
- the base frame part 3 is fixedly connected to the foundation 7 by means of foundation rails 6.
- Tools 9, 10 are arranged above and below the dash-dot corrugated cardboard web 8.
- An upper tool 9 and a lower tool 10 work together as a pair of tools.
- the tools indicated in FIG. 1 above and below the corrugated cardboard web 8 are cutting knives, with one cutting knife above and below the corrugated cardboard web 8 being combined to form a pair of tools.
- Each cutting knife 9 above and each cutting knife 10 below the corrugated cardboard web 8 is exchangeably mounted in a slide-shaped tool body 11.
- the tool bodies 11 of the upper tools 9 are guided so that they can be displaced along parallel guide rods 13, 14 by means of ball guides 12.
- the guide rods 13, 14 are fastened to a rigid cross member 16 by means of fastenings 15.
- the tool body 11 of the lower tools 10 are also guided by means of ball guides 17 on parallel, spaced guide rods 18, 19.
- the guide rods are fastened to a cross member 21 by means of fastenings 20.
- the rigid crossmember 21 is formed by two parallel U-rails which are arranged at a distance from one another and are connected to one another at the ends by end plates.
- the cross member 21 is connected to the stand parts 4, 5 so as to be vertically displaceable in the direction of the arrow I.
- lateral lifting spindles 22, 23 are connected to it, which are driven via an endless chain 23 'jointly by a pressure medium cylinder acted on on both sides with a continuous piston rod, for example a pneumatic cylinder.
- a pressure medium cylinder acted on on both sides with a continuous piston rod, for example a pneumatic cylinder.
- the individual tools 9, 10 above and below the corrugated cardboard web 8 are each driven by drive shafts 25, 26 which are centered by the tools 9, 10, e.g. Knife, run.
- the drive shafts 25, 26 are longitudinally grooved, their key movement is transmitted via feather keys to the tools, which in turn can be moved along the rotating shafts 25, 26.
- the drive shafts 25, 26 protrude beyond the stand part 4. Outside the stand part 5, the drive shafts 26, 25 are connected via a cardan shaft (not shown) and chains 27 to a continuous shaft 28, which is driven by a coupling 29 from the main drive (not shown) of the entire corrugated cardboard system.
- the shaft parts 30 protruding beyond the stand part 4 and the guide rod parts 31 also protruding beyond this stand part enable the tool pairs to be transferred into a parking space 32.
- Sliding tubes 33 and 34 are used to adjust the tools 9, 10. These run between the U-rails of the upper cross member 16 and the lower cross member 21. They run parallel to the guide rods 13, 14 and 18, 19, respectively.
- the sliding tubes 33, 34 traverse shoe brakes 35, which are formed on the tool bodies 11.
- Each shoe brake 35 has a pivotable shoe 36 with a brake lining 37.
- the brake shoes 36 are transferred into a clamping position by means of a spring arrangement 40, in which the tool bodies 11 are then clamped on the associated sliding tubes 33 and 34, respectively.
- a displacement device which comprises a displacement body 41, is used to adjust the tool body 11 and thus the tools 9, 10 when the shoe brake 35 is released.
- One end of each displacement tube 33, 34 is fixedly connected to this displacement body 41.
- a spindle nut 43 is fixedly connected to the nut flange 42 of the displacement body 41.
- An adjusting spindle 44 passes through this.
- This adjusting spindle is mounted by means of a bearing 45 in the stand part 5 or in the adjustable cross member 21.
- the adjusting spindle 44 passes centrally through each shift tube 33, 34. Its free end is slidably supported in the shift tube 33 or 34 via a bearing 46.
- the adjusting spindle 44 can be driven by a positioning motor 47.
- the adjusting spindles 44 are connected to one another via toothed belts 48.
- the sliding tubes 33, 34 are mounted in the shoe brakes 35 via slide bearings 49.
- the adjustment of all sliding tubes 33, 34 takes place via a single positioning motor 47, the web edge correction, i.e. the correct positioning of the tools for the respective lateral edge of the corrugated cardboard web is carried out via the positioning drive, so that the machine no longer has to be displaceable.
- the tool pairs of the individual tool stations which are each formed by the tool pairs of a vertical plane, are moved in and out via pneumatic cylinders 24.
- a cylinder 24 is assigned to each tool station.
- the longitudinal cutting and / or creasing machine 1 has three tool stations a, b, c located one behind the other in the web direction. There are therefore also three pneumatic cylinders 24.
- the individual cylinders 24 are arranged on a common carriage 50 which can be driven via the adjusting motor 51 via an adjusting spindle 52. With this arrangement, the tool pairs of the individual tool stations can be extended and retracted separately.
- the adjustment of the tool stations, the so-called creasing depth adjustment is carried out for all three stations together by adjusting the slide 50 via the adjusting motor 51.
- the tool bodies 11 of each tool 9, 10 are usually clamped onto the sliding tubes 34, 33 via the spring arrangement 40 and the shoe brakes 35.
- the clamping of the tool body 11 on the sliding tubes 33, 34 can be released in the area of the parking space 32.
- the parking area begins behind a pawl 53 (Fig. 3).
- the roller 39 arranged on the brake shoe arm 38 runs onto a run-up rail 54 which extends longitudinally over the parking space 32 and is mounted such that it can move in height in a holding rail 55 which is C-shaped in cross section.
- the bottom side of each ramp rail 54 can be acted upon by pressure pads 56. If the guide rail 54 is moved to the limit by the holding rails via pressure pads 56, the shoe brake is released when the rollers 39 and the movable brake shoe connected to it, i.e. the clamping of the tool body 11 on the sliding tube 33 or 34 is released.
- each tool body 11 can be moved relatively easily on the associated sliding tube 33 or 34. Additional tool bodies 11 can thus easily be pushed onto the projecting shaft parts or guide rod parts or tool bodies can be exchanged.
- the parking space 32 also extends outside the frame 2 of the machine 1. As a result, the machine width can be kept small despite many tools 9, 10. The risk of deflection of the cross beams 16 and 21 is reduced and the setting accuracy is increased.
- the pawl 53 is pivotally mounted. It can be actuated by the piston rod 58 via a pressure medium cylinder 57. In the locked position, the pawl nose 59 engages with a locking part 60 of the tool body 11. The cylinder 57 works with two different closing pressures. The closed position of the pawl 53 is controlled by a limit switch, not shown.
- the tools 9, 10 are positioned as follows:
- the tools 9, 10 are in their positioned positions.
- the tools of each pair of tools are in their positioning positions, i.e. moved apart, for which the lower cross member 21 with the tool bodies 11 and the lower tools 10 is lowered down.
- the pawl 53 is open, i.e. the pawl nose 59 is pivoted slightly counterclockwise and allows the locking parts 60 of the tool body 11 to pass freely.
- the sliding body 41 of the first tool (eg zero meter) is connected simultaneously with the 'tool body. 11
- the clamped tool bodies 11 are displaced in the direction of the parking space 32 via the adjusting spindle 44, displacement body 41, displacement tubes 33 and 34, while maintaining their positions relative to one another.
- the shoe brake 35 is released when the roller 39 runs onto the extended run-on rail 54 and the clamping connection between the tool body 11 and the displacement tube 33 or 34 is released.
- the tool bodies 11 arriving gradually push the tool bodies 11 which have already been unclamped further and further into the parking space 32. After all tool bodies 11 have been parked in the parking space 32 and the sliding body 41 has reached its zero mark with a limit switch (not shown), the clearing process is ended. A subsequent positioning process can begin.
- the adjusting pawl 53 is transferred to the closed position (FIG. 3) by the cylinder 57.
- the cylinder 57 initially works with the lower pressure.
- the run-up rail 54 is retracted.
- the positioning motor 47 drives the adjusting spindle 44 in the opposite direction of rotation.
- the counting of a position counter, not shown starts from zero when the displacement body 41 has a position counter, not shown, e.g. passed by a limit switch predetermined switching point.
- the displacement body 41 is moved in the direction away from the parking space 32 by the adjusting spindle 44.
- the first subsequent tool body 11 runs against the pawl nose 59 of the pawl 53 and presses it slightly at the lower pressure of the cylinder 57.
- the jack limit switch not shown, is actuated.
- the casserole rail 54 is extended, whereby the tool body 11 on the sliding tube 33 and 34 are unclamped.
- the cylinder 57 for the pawl 53 is switched to a higher pressure, as a result of which the adjacent tool body 11 is reliably pushed back into its zero position. This zero position must correspond to the switching point at which the position counter begins to count.
- the positioning drive is stopped, the run-up rail 54 moves in, the tool bodies located in the parking space are clamped on the sliding tube 33 or 34 and the pawl 53 opens.
- the positioning drive starts with a reduced positioning speed.
- the locking part 60 of the subsequent tool body 11 has left the locking pawl nose 59 (limit switch control)
- the locking pawl 53 closes with low pressure.
- the pawl 53 is pressed on by the next tool body 11, the run-up rail 54 is extended, the tool body 11 still in the parking space is unclamped, the pawl cylinder 57 is switched to higher pressure, as a result: the third tool body 11 is pressed into the zero position and the positioning drive switches to the maximum adjustment speed and stops again when the set dimension between the second and third tool is reached. Then the described process is repeated until all tools are positioned.
- the last positioning step is to move all the tools clamped on the sliding tubes at the correct distance from each other so much further that the zero knife is at the pre-selected web edge.

Description
The invention relates to a longitudinal cutting and / or creasing machine for moving material webs, in particular for corrugated cardboard webs according to the preamble of claim 1.
Corrugated cardboard plants are getting smaller and smaller orders with shorter terms, i.e. higher working speeds. For slitting and / or creasing machines, which form part of such a corrugated cardboard system, ever shorter changeover times for the tools are required. Slitting and / or creasing machines according to DE-A-2 250 125 achieve average changeover times of approx. 10 seconds with a simple arrangement. This is too long for a modern corrugated cardboard system. To realize short changeover times. To be able to, there is an increasing tendency to set up two longitudinal cutting and / or creasing machines in a so-called tandem arrangement. While one machine is in operation, the tools of the other machine are positioned for the next job.
When changing the format, the upper and lower tools of the machine in operation are separated and at the same time the positioned tools of the second machine are engaged. The changeover time from one machine to another is approx. 1 second. The machine according to the aforementioned DE-PS is too expensive to use for the tandem arrangement, since each tool has its own drive spindle and each tool pair is assigned its own drive motor, its own actual value transmitter and evaluation electronics.
A slitting and / or creasing machine according to DE-A-2142117 is also known. A gripper arrangement is used for positioning. The tool bodies are moved by an adjustment slide for the purpose of positioning and the gripper releases the tool body to be positioned in each case. Another slitting and / or creasing machine, which also works with a gripper arrangement, is known from FR-A-2 274 415 (corresponds to DE-A-25 26 599).
The invention has for its object to improve the known machine described above while maintaining the separation of guide shafts and drive shafts so that the high expenditure on adjusting units is avoided.
Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe mit den Merkmalen des kennzeichnenden Teils des Patentanspruches 1.The invention solves this problem with the features of the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
The invention offers the advantage that the slitter and / or scoring machine can be built more cheaply because only one positioning drive is necessary. For a machine with three tool stations, depending on the design variant, only six or only two adjusting spindles and sliding bodies are required.
In addition, there is no longer any need to move the entire web edge correction machine. Finally, it is possible to attach additional tool bodies without widening the machine, thereby ensuring a minimal deflection of the crossbeams for guiding the tool pairs. In addition, easy tool changes, minimal adjustment times when changing formats and high adjustment accuracy are achieved.
Further refinements of the invention result from the subclaims.

The

Since all
The tool pairs of the individual tool stations, which are each formed by the tool pairs of a vertical plane, are moved in and out via
The loosening of the clamping of the
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the
The
The
It is believed that the sliding
The adjusting
As soon as the set dimension between the first tool and the subsequent tool is reached, the positioning drive is stopped, the run-
The positioning drive starts with a reduced positioning speed. As soon as the locking part 60 of the
The
Instead of providing a
