Description

The present invention relates to a folding box with a reclosable pouring opening according to the preamble of independent claim 1.

The problem of spouts on folding boxes has been addressed many times. A solution for cuboid folding boxes was specified in CH-A 527 735. The closure of the folding box should have a dividing flap, which is connected to the front wall by a fold line, in such a way that a flap of twice the thickness of the material is produced when the closing edge is opened, which serves as an insertion flap. This closure opens the entire top surface of the folding box and no spout is formed.

From US-A 2294964 a folding box according to the preamble of claim 1 is known, in which a perforation line extends across a side wall, then vertically along the side edges and horizontally along part of the top edges. When the tear-open tab is closed again, the edges of the tab border each against the front or rear wall. This does not provide adequate sealing, especially if the box contains powdery material.

The object of the invention is to eliminate this disadvantage. This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.

The triangular surface areas formed by the first and third perforation lines and the fold lines can be folded in sideways during reclosing, thereby achieving a flat seal.

In the figures, solid, dashed lines indicate tear perforations and thin, dashed lines show fold lines. In the first exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4, the blank has a front wall 10, a rear wall 12 separated therefrom by a side wall 11 and a second side wall 13 on the second side part of the front wall 10. The rear wall 12 has on its corresponding side part an adhesive flap 14 which is glued to the outer side wall 13 in order to close the folding box on its circumference. The front wall 10, the rear wall 12 and the two side walls 11, 13 each have a cover flap 15-18 and 19-22 on both sides. The front wall 10 is delimited from the two side walls 11, 13 by means of fold lines 30, 31 and from the cover flaps 15, 19 by means of fold lines 34. The rear wall 12 is delimited accordingly with fold lines 34, 36 from the cover flaps 17, 21 and with fold lines 32, 33 from the side wall 11 or from the adhesive flap 14. The dividing lines between the cover flaps 15-18 and 19-22 in the continuation of the folding lines 30-33 are sections which are cut through in a known manner.

Rückwand 12.In the side wall 11 located between the front wall 10 and the rear wall 11, a tear tab with the tear perforation lines 50, 51, 52 is formed. Two first tear-open perforation lines 50, 51 lie in the fold lines 31, 32 and second tear-open perforation line 52 crosses the side wall 11 and connects the end points of the two other tear-open perforation lines 50, 51. Third tear-open perforation lines 53, 54 lie in the fold lines 36, 37 between the respective cover flaps 19, 21 and front wall 10 or rear wall 12.

The lengths of the first and third tear-open perforation lines 50, 54 and 51, 53 are not the same size. The end points of the tear perforation lines 50, 54 and 51, 53 lying on the edge of the front wall 10 and on the edge of the rear wall 12 are each connected to one another by a fold line 55, 56. Two triangular fields 63, 64 are thus delimited in the front wall 10 and in the rear wall 12. Two further fold lines 57, 58 cross the cover flaps 19, 21 perpendicular to the second tear perforation lines 53, 54 and have their origin in their end points. Two rectangular fields 61, 62 are thus delimited in the cover flaps 19, 21.

When closing the blank connected to a rectangular tube, the cover flaps 20, 22 are first folded inwards, then the cover flap 21, which is articulated on the rear wall, and finally the cover flap 19 of the front wall 10 is glued over the cover flap 21. Of course, another order would also be conceivable.

The side wall edge on which the pouring spout is located is of such a closed folding box voltage is attached, shown in Figs. 2 to 4. The perforation line 52 can be broken open by pressing in the direction of arrow A at point B in FIG. 2. The tear tab 60 on the side wall 11 can thus be covered and opened upwards along the tear perforation lines 50, 51 and 53, 54. This creates a pouring opening according to FIG. 3. To close, the triangular surface portions 55, 56, which are delimited by fold lines 55, 56 from the front wall 10 and the rear wall 12, are folded inwards and the tear-open tab 60 is between the side wall 11 and the adjacent edges of the tear perforation lines 50, 51 are pushed down into the folding box. The pouring opening according to FIG. 4 is closed again.

A second embodiment of the tear-open tab is shown in FIG. 5 in the original closed form and in FIG. 6 in the resealed form. The lengths of the first tear-open perforation lines 50a, 51a and the third tear-open perforation lines 53, 54 are the same length. The fold lines 55a, 56a thus have a length a {i. If the length of the third tear-open perforation line 53, 54 is a. The tear tab 60a is here provided with a tab 70 which is formed by a semicircular cut 73. On both sides of the incision 73 there are fold lines 71, 72 which run parallel to the second tear perforation line 52a. The tear tab is divided in the ratio b: d by these fold lines 71, 72. The length b is such that the sum of the length a of the third tear-open perforation lines 53, 54 and the length b is equal to the length c of the fold lines 55a, 56a.

If the second tear-open perforation 52a is broken open again in the case of a folding box of this type, the tear-open tab can be gripped and torn open completely. For closing, the tab 70 is removed to the outside by bending the tear tab 60a downward along the fold lines 71, 72. The bent part of the tear tab 60a with the length d is pushed between the side wall 11 and the edges of the broken tear perforation lines 50a, 51a. This closes the pouring spout according to FIG. 6.

In the overlapping fields 20, 61, 62 and in the tear tab 60a, fold lines can also be embossed in such a way that the closure lid of the pouring opening, which is formed with these sections of the blank, can be pressed into the pouring opening to form a dustproof closure form. Such folding lines are known from packaging technology and therefore do not need to be specifically explained at this point.

A third exemplary embodiment differs from this known exemplary embodiment only in that the flap 70 is provided with a fold line 74 between the end points of the semicircular cut 73 and the fold lines 71, 72 described earlier are omitted. The closed folding box is shown in Fig. 7.

When it is closed again, the tab 70 is bent over and inserted behind the side wall 11. For granular goods, this closure is sufficient to prevent the packaged goods from trickling out when the opened box is knocked over.

The problem of trickling out of powdery material is addressed in two further variants according to FIGS. 9 to 12. 9, the edge parts 50a, 51 abutting the upper edge 39 between the front wall 10, rear wall 12 of the side wall 11 on the one hand and the edge parts 53, 54 between the front wall 10, rear wall 12 and the associated cover flap 19, 21 on the other hand perforated. Another perforation 52a crosses the side wall 11 at the end points of the perforated lines 50a, 51a. A finger tab 90 with a semicircular perforation line 91 and a fold line 92 is delimited in the tear tab 60 of the side wall 11. The fold lines 93 for delimiting the triangular corner parts 63 are additionally weakened at their end parts 94 by incisions.

To open the corner parts 63, 64 are pressed together and the finger tab 90 is pressed in, the edge perforations 50a, 51 a, 53, 54 jump open, and the tab 60 can be separated at the perforation line 52a. For closing, the tab 60 is gripped and, after the tab 61 has been pressed inwards, pushed over the tear-off edge of the perforation line 52a into the folding box until the finger tab 90 comes to lie behind the side wall 11. This mutual position is shown in Fig. 10.

Fig. 11 und 12 zeigen eine Faltschachtel, bei der die Ausgußöffnung selbsthaltend verschlossen werden kann.11 and 12 show a folding box in which the pouring opening can be closed in a self-retaining manner.

In contrast to the previously described folding box, this additional folding box has a finger opening 100 in the outermost cover flap 19 in the rectangular upper corner field 61. In addition, perforation lines 50a, 51a, 52a, 53 and 54 are the same and have similar masses as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5 and 6 stamped. In addition, however, the folding line 101 is at a distance b from the upper edge 39 or at a distance d from the perforation line 52a crossing the side wall 11 and is arranged parallel to the upper edge 39.

This folding box is also opened by lateral pressure on the triangular surface parts 55, 56 and by separating the flap 60 from the side wall 11. To close the opening, the rear triangular surface part 64 is first folded inwards, then the flap 60 over this folded surface part 64 with the tab part 60a pushed behind the side wall 11, and finally the tip 102 of the front triangular surface area 63 is pushed into the finger opening 100.

When manufacturing this box, care must of course be taken that the area around the finger opening 100 is free of glue. This can be done in the simplest way by two strips of glue on the side outside the finger opening.
