Abstract

1. A synthetic bristle (1, 1a) which is adapted to be inserted into the brush body (4) or the like while being bent in a U-shape and is prefabricated to have a spherical thickening (2) integral therewith at either end, characterized in that the spherical thickenings (2) at either end of the bristle are of different diameter.
