Die erfindungsgemäße Brennkraftmaschine besteht aus einer oberen Reihe unbeweglicher Zylinderblöcke 1 mit oberen rechten Zylinderköpfen 2 und oberen linken Zylinderköpfen 3 und einer unteren Reihe unbeweglicher Zylinderblöcke 1' mit unteren rechten Zylinderköpfen 2' und unteren linken Zylinderköpfen 3'. In der unteren Reihe unbeweglicher Zylinderblöcke 1' sind untere doppeltwirkende Kolben 4' montiert, wobei die unteren doppeltwirkenden Kolben 4' die Arbeitsräume der unteren Reihe unbeweglicher Zylinderblöcke 1' in untere rechte Arbeitsräume 5' und untere linke Arbeitsräume 6' teilen. Die oberen doppeltwirkenden Kolben 4 sind durch obere Glieder 7 und obere Gelenke 8 mit den oberen Enden von Schwinghebeln 9 verbunden. Die unteren Enden der Schwinghebel 9 sind bei einer zweireihigen Anordnung der unbeweglichen Zylinderblöcke mit unteren Gelenken 10 bei einer Anordnung in einer Reihe mit unbeweglichen Stützen 11 verbunden.
