Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Herstellen von Kunststoffbeuteln aus einer intermittierend voranbewegten flachliegenden Schlauchfolienbahn mit einer in Vorschubrichtung der Schlauchfolienbahn hinter einer Querschneideeinrichtung angeordneten Halteeinrichtung zum Festhalten des jeweils zuletzt von der Schaluchfolienbahn abgetrennten Beutels im Bereich seines Öffnungsrandes. Um eine derartige einfach aufgebaute Vorrichtung zu schaffen, mit der sich unperforierte Beutel herstellen lassen, besteht die Halteeinrichtung aus einem Saugkasten (32), der im Bereich der Transportebene mit zwei quer zur Transportrichtung verlaufenden Sauglochreihen (33, 34) versehen ist, deren Abstand etwa dem Abstand der geschuppt übereinander abgelegten Gruppen von Beuteln entspricht. Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß die Halteeinrichtung aus einem Saugkasten besteht, der im Bereich der Transportebene mit zwei quer zur Transportrichtung verlaufenden Sauglochreihen versehen ist, deren Abstand etwa dem Abstand der geschuppt übereinander abgelegten Gruppen von Beuteln entspricht, und daß auf den jeweils zuletzt abgelegten Beutel eine heb- und absenkbare Druckwalze absenkbar ist, die mit einer unter dem Obertrum des Förderbandes angeordneten Gegendruckwalze zusammenwirkt und derart gesteuert ist, daß sie im wesentlichen nur während des intermittierenden Vorzugs des Förderbandes abgesenkt ist. Innerhalb der einzelnen abgelegten Gruppen weisen die geschuppt übereinander liegenden Beutel einen Abstand voneinander auf, der etwa dem Abstand der Querschneideinrichtung bis zu der ersten Sauglochreihe entspricht. Das jeweilige Ende der Schlauchfolienbahn wird von dem Blasluftstrom bis unter die absenkbare Druckwalze vorgetragen. Im Endbereich der jeweils frei vorgetragenen vorderen Enden der Schlauchfolienbahn ist eine Druckwalze 35 angeordnet, die von einer Druckmittel-Kolben-Zylinder-Einheit 36 betätigt wird, deren Zylinder gestellfest gelagert ist. Die Druckwalze 35 senkt sich auf die Gegendruckwalze 37 ab, sobald ein Beutel von dem Messer der Querschneideinrichtung 11 von der Schlauchfolienbahn 8 abgetrennt worden ist, und zwar solange, bis das hintere offene Ende dieses Sack- oder Beutelstücks über der hinteren Sauglochreihe 33 des Saugkastens 32 liegt und von diesem angesaugt wird. Danach hebt sich die Druckwalze 35 und das nächste Sack- oder Beutelstück wird durch den Blasluftstrom über das von der Sauglochreihe 33 gehaltene Sack- oder Beutelstück ausgetragen. Es ist eine nicht dargestellte Steuereinrichtung vorgesehen, die diesen Vorgang so oft wiederholt, bis eine gewünschte Anzahl von Sackstücken in einer Gruppe geschuppt übereinanderliegend auf das Förderband 5 abgelegt worden ist. Anschließend wird durch entsprechende Steuerung ein größerer Schuppenabstand mit dem Maß X gebildet. Zu diesem Zweck wird die Druckwalze 35 so lange auf die Gegendruckwalze 37 gedrückt, bis das obere Sackstück über die Sauglochreihe 33 hinaus bis zu der vorderen Sauglochreihe 34 gezogen worden ist und von dieser gehalten wird.
