Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an awning movable in the vertical plane for trapezoidal or similarly irregularly constructed or adapted to the respective roof inclinations of external windows of buildings, houses or the like.
As a visual, light and weather protection for such asymmetrical windows, which occur very often on the gable side, for example in the case of studio expansion of attics, it has hitherto only been known from DE-PS 26 46 115 by the same applicant to arrange correspondingly designed roller shutters. Such roller shutters perform to a large extent all of the tasks intended for them due to their hollow chamber profile structure, but they have the disadvantage of being relatively expensive due to their not inconsiderable structural outlay, in particular for large windows.
The present invention has therefore set itself the task of developing an awning according to the preamble of the main claim, which is particularly suitable as protection for trapezoidal outer windows and is intended to represent an inexpensive alternative to the known roller shutter for such windows.
This object is essentially achieved in that the entire surface of the awning is subdivided into at least one rectangular and one triangular surface section and the individual sections can be rolled up or collapsed independently of one another, with the triangular shape in a special, inventive design for windows with an inclined frame top Surface section is movable only after rolling up or the like of the rectangular.
Further essential details of the present invention, in particular its structural configuration in detail, are set out in the dependent claims using an exemplary embodiment, are shown in the form of a sketch and are explained in more detail below with the aid of these.

- Fig. 3 eine teilweise Seitenansicht zu Fig. 2,

18.The awning shown for covering a trapezoidal window with the
So that the outer awning described above is always securely fixed with respect to the
As a result of the length changes a to c, which inevitably occur when the
According to a further feature of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 5, instead of the
Ultimately, it is also conceivable that, instead of the manually operated
The inventive basic system of dividing a trapezoidal window into a rectangular and a
