Claims (3)

1. A stop device for a pivotable door (3) comprising an arm (4) for pivotally mounting on one of the parts constituted by the door (3) and by the fixed post (1) on which the door is mounted, this arm (4) having the shape of a strip having two opposed edges in contact with which are applied two rollers (12, 13) carried by a member (14) adapted to be fixed on the other part, one of the rollers being fixed and the other roller being movable and subjected to a resiliently yieldable action which creates a pressure of contact between each of the two rollers (12, 13) and the arm (4), the latter being provided with a stop step (9) for retaining the fixed roller (12) in the open position of the door, characterised in that each roller (12, 13) comprises two cylindrical rings (46, 47) which are fitted one inside the other and include at one of their ends a planar radially outwardly extending flange (56, 57), the flange (56) of the inner ring (46) having a such radial dimension that it projects from the cylindrical surface of the outer ring (47) and a sliding contact can thus be established, not only radially between the two rings, but also axially between the flanges (56, 57) and the respective outer surfaces (4c, 4d) of the arm (4).
2. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the two rings (46, 47) are provided with a coating (58) of a material having a low coefficient of friction.
3. A device according to one of the claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the outer surfaces of the flanges (56, 57) are adapted to come into sliding contact with the inner surfaces (18a, 18b) of planar branches (18) carried by the member (14) which the pins (19, 21) extend through.
