Claims (9)

1. A window or door, preferably a pivoted window or pivoted door, having mounting members (5, 26) which are disposed in the corner regions of the spaces between the fixed frame and the sash frame, characterised in that the one- piece mounting members which are provided with two limb portions (7, 8 ; 29, 33) extending perpendicularly to each other are fixed in position exclusively by means of a clamping screw (9, 27) which bears with its free end against a wall portion and/or the bottom portion (12) of a receiving groove (13) of the fixed frame and which is passed through a screwthreaded bore (10, 28) extending at an acute angle to the longitudinal central plane (11) of the mounting member, both limb portions engage into a receiving groove in the fixed frame (2) and, at a longitudinal edge, have hooking projections or hooking web portions (15, 30) and (21, 41) which, when the clamping screw is tightened, engage behind an edge bar portion of the receiving groove.
2. A window or door according to claim 1, characterised in that at least one limb portion (8) of the mounting member has an abutment surface which is associated with the inward longitudinal edge surface (23) of the edge bar portion (22) of the receiving groove and which, after the mounting member has been fitted into the receiving groove, with the longitudinal edge surface (23), forms an inclined edge, or which, in plan view of the limb portion (8), in regard to the outside edge of the hooking portion (21), is an inclined surface which, when the clamping screw is tightened, initially ensures linear contact at the longitudinal edge surface of the edge bar portion.
3. A pivoted window or door with a bottom pivot mounting having a mounting member which is secured to the fixed frame and which is of an angular configuration, according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the vertical limb portion (7) which is provided at a longitudinal edge side with a hooking projection (15) can be rotated into position in the receiving groove (16) of a vertical fixed frame member (17) and the horizontal limb portion (8) which is provided with a hooking portion (21) at a side remote from the hooking projection (15) can be inserted into the receiving groove of a horizontal fixed frame member and the clamping screw (9) is provided in the region of the free end of the horizontal limb portion (8).
4. A window or door according to claim 3, characterised in that at both longitudinal sides, the horizontal limb portion (8) has abutment surfaces (19, 20) delimiting the depth of insertion with respect to the receiving groove (13).
5. A window or door according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the hooking portion (21) which engages under the edge bar portion of the receiving groove of the horizontal fixed frame member, the abutment surface (24) and the horizontal abutment surface (19) which delimits the depth of insertion of the horizontal limb portion (8) define a groove for receiving the edge bar portion (22).
6. A window or door according to claim 5, characterised in that the depth of the groove tapers down from the side adjacent the clamping screw (9), to the corner region of the angular mounting member.
7. A window or door according to claim 6, characterised in that the groove terminates in the corner region of the mounting member (5).
