Description
The invention relates to a telescopic mast according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such masts and in particular antenna masts serve as mobile carriers for the installation of devices to be held at a greater height at different locations and at different heights. Stability, bending and torsional stiffness as well as construction times are of essential importance for such masts. The bending stiffness is essential with regard to the deflectability of the extended mast within prescribed limits and the torsional stiffness is important with regard to the most precise possible alignment of the device to be held, in particular an antenna held by the mast, because of the wind loads occurring in open terrain.
From the brochure "Salzgitter Antenna Mast" W 343-677-1000G a supporting mast is known, in which booms pivotable about vertical axes are articulated on a base frame which supports the lower mast part and can be designed as a motor vehicle.
- The lower mast part is only held in the base frame itself at its lower end. The deflecting forces acting on the mast, in particular wind forces, therefore stress not only the upper mast parts but also the lower mast part fully on the one hand on bending and on the other hand on torsion. If deflection limits are specified and the most precise possible alignment of the device to be held and in particular the antenna being carried is required, the known supporting mast can only be used to a limited extent or separate bracing is required. Because the bending and torques acting on the mast and in particular the lower mast part can only be dissipated through the mast foot, in the known case it can be carried out via the base frame. Guyings, however, especially with different heights, involve considerable additional assembly and disassembly times. Increased assembly and disassembly times also result from the necessity of the respective latching of the mast parts and the free travel of the lifting device of the known mast arrangement.
From DE-B-2 742 431 a telescopic supporting mast, in particular an antenna mast, is known, the lower mast part of which can be supported by three supporting legs distributed over the circumference and adjustable in length. The support legs are each articulated on the lower mast part via a hinge part to a horizontally extending bearing bolt, the end of each support leg facing away from the lower mast part being connected to the lower region of the lower mast part via a tension element. These tension elements can each be tensioned via an adjusting device which is arranged in the region of the support feet of the individual support legs. The lower mast part is attached to a base frame designed as a chassis.
It is the object of the invention to improve a generic mast so that an increased bending and torsional rigidity is achieved, the achievable height can be increased without the use of disadvantageous bracing and in which the required assembly and dismantling times can be kept short. According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of the patent claim. Because the lower mast part is thus firmly supported over its entire height, the bending stiffness of the entire supporting mast is improved. The special design of the sleeve, by means of which each support leg is articulated on the lower mast part, has the advantage that the torsional moments introduced into the support mast are transmitted to the support legs and are derived in each case as controllable bending moments. These bending moments are reduced in the support legs to lateral forces at their lower base points. With the same predetermined mast height, a significantly increased torsional rigidity of the supporting mast is achieved in that the torques acting on the lower part of the mast are absorbed at the upper end thereof. The stability of the mast according to the invention is also improved by the telescopic design of the support legs, which enables large spans. The increase in the bending stiffness, the torsional stiffness and the stability also leads to an increased achievable height of the supporting mast even with given deflection limits and also has the advantage that no guy lines are required even at greater extension heights, which also means the assembly and dismantling times greater heights can be shortened considerably. The erection of the mast is facilitated by the telescopic support legs. After erecting the mast that has not been extended, the support legs are pulled out by hand or by telescopic drives, if necessary, until the tensioning cables are tensioned, after which the lower mast part is fully supported and stiffened in the manner described. Then the mast can be extended to the desired height. The marked design of the lower ends of the support legs, in cooperation with the features described above, leads to an accurate alignment of the lower mast part via the adjusting devices after the above-described pulling out of the support legs up to the first tensioning of the tensioning cables can and at the same time the tensioning ropes can finally be fully tensioned. As a result, the described increases in stability as well as bending and torsional rigidity come to full effect, so that overall the operational safety of the extended mast is improved.
It is known per se for a supporting mast similar to the type mentioned at the beginning, but without mast-specific drive means for the telescopic parts (GB-PS 24 966 from 1906), to articulate non-length-adjustable support legs via a fastening ring on the upper section of the lower mast part and with tensioning cables on the To relax feet. Apart from the fact that the support legs cannot be telescoped, a certain increase in the bending stiffness is possible in this known arrangement because the articulation of the support legs is not guided and controlled in any way, but with this arrangement no torques introduced into the lower mast part can be dissipated via the support legs. In addition, there is no reliable guidance of the support legs during the pivoting movement, so that the known arrangement for achieving the required support requires additional rigid connecting elements between the support leg feet.
The articulation of the support legs according to the invention via the sleeves mentioned, on the other hand, ensures the exact pivoting out of the support legs and the exact support of the support feet of the support legs on the floor to form the polygon resulting from the number of support legs. Stepless extension of the mast parts and secure mounting of the mast parts in the respective extended position is possible without any latching. The appropriate different rope drives can be used, e.g. individual cable pulls coupling the telescopic mast parts or a continuous cable sheared at the upper or lower ends of the successive mast parts. Such a cable drive can also be used in the non-extended state and with mast parts locked together in this state to erect the lower mast part on the base frame. With the help of the support legs provided according to the invention and also adjusting devices, the base frame designed as a chassis can be lifted off the floor, so that it only hangs on the lower mast part, whereby the stability of the supporting mast is further increased by the weight of this base frame. In the working position, the mast according to the invention thus rests exclusively on the support legs of the support legs.
