Definitions
- the invention relates to a partition for shower with a fixed side wall and a sliding door, the door being supported at its upper end and pivotable with its lower end transversely to the direction of displacement from the side wall, one in the overlap region of the closed door with the fixed side wall Edge of the door acting longitudinal guide is provided.
- the object of the present invention is to store the sliding door so that it can be swiveled for good cleaning, but on the other hand to prevent unintentional swiveling out while using the shower.
- This task which is contradictory per se, is achieved according to the invention in particular in that the longitudinal guide is designed as a positive guide and is displaceable and / or detachable from the door area.
- the longitudinal guide in the functional position during normal use of the shower, there is advantageously a forced guide to prevent it from swinging out, but this must be deactivated if necessary, so that the door can then be pivoted for cleaning or the like.
- a guide piece can be provided as the longitudinal and positive guide, which overlaps the lower edge of the sliding door at least on its side facing away from the fixed side wall.
- latching connection elements are provided for holding the longitudinal guide on the one hand on the longitudinal guide and on the other hand on a profile rail for holding the lower fixed side walls.
- This latching connection for the longitudinal guide results in a sufficiently stable fixing of the door against unintentional pivoting for normal use, but on the other hand it can be disengaged when cleaning the door or the side wall and pivoted away with the door.
- connection of the sliding guide is positively fixed transversely to the direction of displacement of the door and is displaceable in the direction of displacement. This preferred embodiment prevents unintentional pivoting even in the event of stronger counterpressure in the pivoting direction of the door.
- connection of the sliding guide is positively fixed transversely to the direction of displacement of the door and is displaceable in the direction of displacement.
- a preferably rail-like additional guide can be provided above the door rollers, the distance from the upper running plane of the door rollers being smaller than the depth of engagement of the support rail in the door rollers. This reliably prevents the upper bearing from unhooking when the door is pivoted.
- a shower cubicle 1 (FIG. 1) has fixed side walls 2 and two sliding doors 3.
- the sliding doors 3 are mounted in the upper area 4 by means of rollers 5 and rails 6 (cf. FIG. 4).
- the side walls 2 are fixedly mounted in circumferential profile rails 8 (FIG. 2), while the sliding doors 3 are slidably mounted in longitudinal guides 9.
- the longitudinal guides 9 are formed by comparatively short, preferably U-shaped profile pieces in cross section, which, however, also another z. B. can have an angular shape and overlap the lower edge of the sliding door on the side facing away from the side wall 2. In the exemplary embodiment, they are approximately the same length or shorter than the resulting overlap region between the fixed side wall 2 and the associated door 3 in the closed position. According to the invention, these longitudinal guides 9 are now displaceable and / or detachable from the door area.
- FIG. 2 A preferred embodiment is shown in FIG. 2.
- the longitudinal guide 9 is in particular displaceable and positively connected to the profile rail 8.
- a flange 10 is provided on the inside of the profile rail 8, which is overlapped by a part of the longitudinal guide 9.
- the upper edge of the flange 10 has a recess 11 in which an approximately hook-shaped extension 12 of the sliding guide 9 engages.
- a longitudinal groove 13 is provided, in which a corresponding nose of the longitudinal guide 9 engages.
- the guide in the lower area could be of the same design as in the upper area, that is to say with a recess and a hook-shaped extension, so that the longitudinal guide 9 is then non-detachably connected to the profiled rail 8 in the transverse direction to the direction of displacement of the door 3.
- To pivot the door 3 is then in this embodiment Longitudinal guide 9 shifted in the longitudinal direction relative to the profile rail 8 until it comes outside the engagement area of the door. The door can then be pivoted away from the side wall 2 for cleaning.
- the longitudinal guide 9 can consist of an aluminum profile or, in the case of a snap-in connection, preferably of plastic.
- the longitudinal guide 9 a is locked with the rail 8.
- locking connecting elements 14 are provided both on the profile rail 8 on the one hand and on the longitudinal guide 9 a on the other.
- the profile rail 8 has on its inside a receiving cavity 15 with two inwardly projecting latching projections 16 which latch with latching tongues 17 in the functional position (FIG. 3).
- the longitudinal guide 9 a can be disengaged by the latching connection together with the sliding door 3 shown in broken lines and pivoted about its upper bearing 18 according to the arrow Pf 1. 2 and 3 it can still be clearly seen that the profile rail 8, which is provided all around in the region of the side walls 2 and the sliding doors 3, is designed for sealing against splashing water and running water with an extension 19 projecting upwards over the lower edge of the doors are.
- the profile rail 8 thus advantageously fulfills a triple function, namely on the one hand the lower mounting of the side walls 2, sealing against splashing water in the door area and, in addition, counterholders for the longitudinal guides 9, 9 a. It should also be mentioned that the profile rail 8 engages around the lower edge of the side walls 2 approximately in a U-shape, but the inner U-leg is comparatively short in order to prevent dirt from getting stuck in the door area and to have good accessibility for cleaning. If necessary, a particularly tight cover 8, as indicated by the broken lines in FIG. 3, could also be provided as the upper end of the profiled rail 8 outside the side wall region.
- the profile rail 8 is preferably arranged circumferentially on the lower edge of the side walls 2 and the doors 3, but can also be provided only in the overlap area or only for the side walls to hold them.
- the sliding doors 3 are mounted or guided in their upper area by means of rollers 5 and rails 6.
- a preferably rail-like additional guide 20 is provided above the door rollers 5, as shown in FIG. 4.
- the distance of this additional guide 20 to the rollers 5 is dimensioned such that if the door 3 is inadvertently lifted, in particular when pivoting transversely to the direction of travel, unhooking from the guide is prevented.
- the additional guide 20 according to FIG. 4 has a web 21 which is arranged parallel to the support rail 6 and which is narrower than the distance between the lateral annular groove boundaries.
- This web 21 is now arranged in such a way that the radial depth of the annular groove 22 is greater than the radial clear distance of the web 21 from the groove base 23 another limit stop for the pivoting movement of the sliding door 3, since from a certain pivoting an annular groove limitation comes to rest on the web 21.
- this comparatively small pivoting is generally sufficient for the accessibility, in particular of the overlap area between the sliding door 3 and the side wall 2, this comparatively small pivoting is generally sufficient.
- FIG. 5 shows a somewhat modified embodiment of a safety catch for the sliding door mounting 18.
- the additional guide 20 has a stop surface 24 covering the upper roller swivel area at a distance.
- the distance a is smaller than the depth of engagement b of the support rail 6 in the annular groove 22 of the door rollers 5.
- This embodiment allows the possible pivoting range of the door 3 to be determined independently of the width of the annular groove 22. A comparatively large swivel range can thus also be selected.
- a swivel limit stop, for. D. be provided by an extension 25.
- the sliding doors 3 can be pivoted safely for cleaning.
- FIG. 6 shows a modified embodiment of a longitudinally displaceable guide 9 b for the door 3.
- a dovetail guide 26 serves as a holder on the profile rail 8.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a partition for shower with a fixed side wall and a sliding door, the door being supported at its upper end and pivotable with its lower end transversely to the direction of displacement from the side wall, one in the overlap region of the closed door with the fixed side wall Edge of the door acting longitudinal guide is provided.
It is already known from DE-PS 25 23 314 to let the sliding door rest loosely on one side in the lower area against a stop due to the force of gravity and the nature of its suspension. As a result, the door can be pivoted away from the stop, so that the door can be cleaned better in the lower area and in the overlap area with the side wall. Due to the only one-sided guide stop for the door there is the disadvantage of unintentional pivoting and then swinging back against the stop, so that, in addition to annoying noise, there is also the risk of damage to the glass door or the like.
So you already have the lower side guide. Magnets or opposing poles arranged for this to prevent this unintentional pivoting. Nevertheless, after overcoming the magnetic force, unintentional swiveling is possible, but then with increased momentum, so that the aforementioned disadvantages and dangers also exist here.
The object of the present invention is to store the sliding door so that it can be swiveled for good cleaning, but on the other hand to prevent unintentional swiveling out while using the shower. This task, which is contradictory per se, is achieved according to the invention in particular in that the longitudinal guide is designed as a positive guide and is displaceable and / or detachable from the door area. As a result, with the longitudinal guide in the functional position during normal use of the shower, there is advantageously a forced guide to prevent it from swinging out, but this must be deactivated if necessary, so that the door can then be pivoted for cleaning or the like. In this case, a guide piece can be provided as the longitudinal and positive guide, which overlaps the lower edge of the sliding door at least on its side facing away from the fixed side wall.
One embodiment provides that latching connection elements are provided for holding the longitudinal guide on the one hand on the longitudinal guide and on the other hand on a profile rail for holding the lower fixed side walls. This latching connection for the longitudinal guide results in a sufficiently stable fixing of the door against unintentional pivoting for normal use, but on the other hand it can be disengaged when cleaning the door or the side wall and pivoted away with the door.
Another embodiment of the invention provides that the connection of the sliding guide is positively fixed transversely to the direction of displacement of the door and is displaceable in the direction of displacement. This preferred embodiment prevents unintentional pivoting even in the event of stronger counterpressure in the pivoting direction of the door. On the other hand, with simple handling by longitudinally displacing the sliding guide, there is no disengagement bring the sliding guide from the area of the door and then pivoting from this, possible.
According to a development of the invention, a preferably rail-like additional guide can be provided above the door rollers, the distance from the upper running plane of the door rollers being smaller than the depth of engagement of the support rail in the door rollers. This reliably prevents the upper bearing from unhooking when the door is pivoted.
Additional embodiments of the invention are listed in the further subclaims. Fig. 4) gelagert. A shower cubicle 1 (FIG. 1) has fixed
The
A preferred embodiment is shown in FIG. 2. The
If necessary, the guide in the lower area could be of the same design as in the upper area, that is to say with a recess and a hook-shaped extension, so that the
The
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 3, the longitudinal guide 9 a is locked with the
Even outside the area of the
Here, the
Als Halterung an der Profilschiene 8 dient dabei eine Schwalbenschwanzführung 26.FIG. 6 shows a modified embodiment of a longitudinally
