Abstract

1. An injection timing means regulated by centrifugal force for injection pumps associated with combustion engines, in particular self-firing, air-compressing combustion engines, formed of a drive unit and a take-off shaft (3), of a rotating casing (1) connected to the drive unit, of centrifugal weights (6) which are arranged within the casing (1) and are displaceable against force exerted by springs (10), the take-off shaft (3) being drivable to change its angle of rotation, and of an additional means which influences the displacement of the centrifugal weights, characterized in that said means is constituted by unilaterally acting shock-absorbing elements which inhibit the displacement of the centrifugal weights (6) only during a brief rapid acceleration of the centrifugal weights (6) (t =< 15 seconds).
