Claims (5)

1. Device for decoupling vibrations particularly between the members of an internal combustion engine and comprising a sectional joint in elastomer ensuring the connection between the parts of at least two members, characterized in that the joint (5) is provided with parallel grooves (6, 6a) into which fit the edges (8, 9) of members (4 and 2) to be assembled, the said grooves (6, 6a) being arranged so as to have their openings (7, 7a) situated on opposite faces of the joint and being offset heightwise one with respect to the other, in order to keep between them a highly deformable area and that a beed (11, 11a) of material is left, between the bottom of each groove (6, 6a) and one of the faces of the joint, in tight contact with the wall (12, 12a) of one of the members (4, 2).
2. Decoupling device according to claim 1, characterized in that the grooves (6, 6a) into which the edges (8, 9) of the members to be assembled, are engaged, are defined on one of their faces by a lip (13, 13a) which is in contact with one of the faces of the edge (8, 9) of the member.
3. Decoupling device according to claim 1, characterized in that the joint (5) is continuous.
4. Decoupling device according to claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the joint presents, between the grooves (6, 6a) in the highly deformable area, at least one cell (10) filled with a gas.
5. Decoupling device according to claim 1, characterized in that the sealing beads (11, 11a) are in the form of lips resting against the walls (12, 12a) of the members.
