Aus der Rohbahn werden verarbeitungsfähige Tapetenbahnen dadurch hergestellt, daß die Rohbahn zunächst entlang der strichpunktierten Linie 8 geteilt wird, wonach die so gebildeten Bahnen an ihren Rändern beschnitten werden, z.B. auf eine Breite von 51 cm. Die Breite der Streifen 5, 6, 7 ist so gewählt, daß nach dem Beschneiden beschichtete Randstreifen mit einer Breite von ca. 3 cm verbleiben. Durch die Randstreifenbeschichtung erreicht man, daß sich die Fäden 3a, 3b im Bereich der Tapeten-Seitenkanten nicht von der Trägerschicht 1 ablösen.In Fig. 3 an untrimmed wallpaper raw sheet is shown.
