Dieses Verfahren hat sich im Laufe der vergangenen Jahre an sich recht gut bewährt, da es eine direkte und relativ schnelle Methode zum Ausjustieren einer Druckplatte darstellt, bei der Plattendeformationen durch die Druckplattenspannschienen keinen nachteiligen Einfluß auf das Justiersystem haben. Aus der DE-PS 20 10 899 ist eine Vorrichtung der eingangs genannten Gattung bekannt, die Nachteile der zuvorgenannten Einrichtung vermeidet. An einer an der vorderen Wand der Zylindergrube befestigten gemeinsamen Grundleiste sind starre Paßstifte vorgesehen, die im Querschnitt rechteckig ausgebildet sind und durch dafür am Druckanfang der Druckplatte vorgesehene Paßschlitze hindurchragen. Dabei dienen die Vorderkanten der Paßstifte als Anschlag für die Kanten der Paßschlitze. Es ergibt sich aber der Nachteil, daß sich beim Justieren bzw. Spannen der Druckplatte in Umfangsrichtung die Kanten der Paßschlitze durch die hindurchragenden Paßstifte deformieren. Erfolgt beim Spannen auch nur einmal eine Beschädigung eines Paßschlitzes, so ist ein paßgerechtes Vorausrichten beim ersten und jedem weiteren Aufspannvorgang nicht mehr möglich. Darüber hinaus ist ein entsprechender Nachteil dieser Vorrichtung in der Praxis der, daß bei einer schief kopierten Platte keine Korrekturmöglichkeit gegeben ist. Müßte z.B. die eine Seite der Platte gegenüber der anderen Seite korrigiert werden und liegt die Platte bereits an den Anschlägen an, dann kann bestenfalls zunächst ein Nachlassen der Plattenspannung an der entsprechenden Seite erfolgen, um z.B. eine parallele Druckanfangslinie zu bekommen. Anschließend an diesen Arbeitsvorgang ist eine zusätzliche Umfangsregisterverstellung des gesamten Plattenzylinders erforderlich. A registration system for the in-register lining up of a flexible printing plate (9) on the plate cylinder (2) of a rotary press with at least two register holes (14) in the printing plate (9) and register marks (12, 17, 23), designed for use therewith, on the plate cylinder (2), characterized in that the register marks take the form of matching faces (12, 17, 23), not higher than the level of the top face of the printing plate, the faces (12, 17, 23) being smaller than the register holes (14) and contrasting with the part (16) round them, such part being able to be seen through the register holes.
2. A registration system as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the part placed round the smaller faces (12, 17, 23) is formed by contrasting, shadow-forming gaps (16).
3. A registration system as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the shadow-forming gaps (16) are colored black and the faces (12, 17, 23) matching the register holes (14) are polished bright so as to be like the printing plate (9).
4. A registration system as claimed in claims 2 and 3, characterized in that the shadow-forming gaps (16), able to be seen through the register holes (14), have an even breadth of some tenths of a millimeter.
5. A registration system as claimed in claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the register holes (14) and the faces (12, 17, 23) matching the same are round in form.

A registration system as claimed in claims 1 to 5, 7 and 8, characterized in that slip-on collars (10) are positioned on the register bolts (8) so as to be in line with their end faces (12), such collars (10) having at their ends round hollows (11) placed round the register bolts (8), such hollows (11) having parts, able to be seen on looking down to the printing plate (9), between the register holes (14) and the register bolts (8) and forming shadow-forming gaps (16) (figures 1 and 2).
10. A registration system as claimed in claims 1 to 5, 7 and 8, characterized in that the register bolts (8) have at their ends heads, which are a little smaller in diameter than the round register holes (14), the end faces of the heads (21) being at a level not higher than the level of the outer face of the printing plate, and the parts, seen on looking down on the printing plate (9) between the register holes (14) and the heads (21), of the cut-back ring faces of the register bolts (8) in each case take the form of shadow-forming gaps (16) (figure 6).

A registration system as claimed in claims 1 to 5, 7 and 8, characterized in that the register bolts (8) have at their ends ring grooves (22) running round the matching end faces (12), the inner diameter of the ring grooves (22) being a little smaller than that of the round register holes (14) and their parts, able to be seen between the register holes (14) and the inner diameter of the ring grooves (22), take the form of shadow-forming gaps (16) (figure 7).
12. A registration system as Iaimed in claims 1 to 5, 7 and 8, characterizes in that the register bolts (8) have at their ends blind holes (23) forming the matching faces, the diameter of such holes (23) being a little smaller than that of the round register holes (14) while the end faces of the holes (23) are colored dark so as to make a contrast with the parts next to them (figure 8).
13. A registration system as claimed in claims 2 to 5, characterized in that for forming shadow-forming gaps ring grooves (22) are let into the plate cylinder (2) directly without the use of any inbetween register bolts (8), and the parts, able to be seen on looking down on the printing plate (9), between the register holes (14) and the inner diameter of the ring grooves (2) take the form of the shadow-forming gaps (16) and the round faces (17), skirted by the ring grooves (22), of the plate cylinder (2) take the form of the matching faces (17) (figure 9).
14. A registration system as claimed in claims 1 to 5 and 6 to 8, characterized in that the register bolts (8) have three cornered.heads (25) at their ends, whose end faces (12), placed at a height not higher than the level of the outer face of the printing plate, take the form of matching faces, which are a little smaller than the three cornered register holes (14), and the parts, placed so that they may be seen on looking down on the printing plate (9), between the register holes (14) and the three cornered heads (25), of the machined-back end faces of the register bolts in each case take the form of the shadow-forming gaps (16) (figures 10 and 11).
